Snorting faintly, Yin shrugged. "I doubt I'll be that good anytime soon. Learning an instrument takes a long time."

"What about singing?" Anen put in curiously. "Do you sing, Yin? Your voice is pretty... "

That made Yin blink, and she tilted her head to the side, watching Anen. "I'd never really thought about it. I mean, I sing in the shower and stuff... no one's told me to shut up or thrown anything at me yet, so that's a beginning."

Anen giggled at Yin's comment and leaned on the amp, waiting expectantly.

Blinking at them both for a moment, Yin blushed, then nodded and cleared her throat softly.
Under the lover-sky Gonna be with you And no one's gonna be around If you think that you won't fall Well just wait until 'Til the sun goes down
Underneath the starlight, starlight There's a magical feeling so right It will steal your heart tonight
It was a song that DFA loved... and one that Yin had heard numerous times. She knew it by heart, and her voice got more confident as she continued, her tail waving in rhythm to the music that was playing in her mind.
You can try to resist Try to hide from my kiss But you know, but you know That you, can't fight the moonlight Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart But you know, But you know that you Can't fight the moonlight..No You can't fight it... It's gonna get to your heart

Sire's eyes, to put it mildly, went wide. He'd found a singer actually WORTHY of the title "lead". He grinned, and waited for her to finish before chuckling softly.
"When there is a band, you'll be the first on my list."

Anen listened, fascinated by Yin's voice. It wasn't a perfect voice, and still a child's voice ... but there was something oddly captivating in the way she sang.
He blinked and realized he was staring. "That was ... really neat," he offered, folding his wings tightly.

Yin blushed brightly, glancing between the two. "Are you sure? I mean, you're not just telling me that to make me feel good, right?" She knew she wasn't perfect... far from it, but to hear two others telling her that she was good at this felt GOOD.

"Not absolutely perfect, but with some practice... Kid, you'd make a sensation with some juicy lyrics to back you up."

Anen shook his head and searched for the right words. "I like how you sing," he said. "It's not all polished like some people. That's not bad," he added hurriedly.

Grinning, Yin nodded. "Then I'll keep practicing, and we'll see how good I get." She glanced at the clock then and yelped. "Aw CRUD, if I don't get home soon, I'm gonna get killed! Dinner was a half hour ago!" She bolted to the door then, waving to Anen and Sire. "Bye!! I'll be back later!"
((And with that, this lil fox is going to BED. *HUGS* Night guys!))

Dawna strolled in and watched Yin, Sire, and Anen chatting companionably. She sat down on a conveniently close-by bench.
