Dante was such warm and delightful company that Chance was beginning to miss the bench, frost and all. But the bench could not or would not tell him where this cafe was that opened before five in the morning. At least the wolf had not asked for a name. He was inclined to "forget" to introduce himself in any way unless Dante somehow shamed him into it. Even then... well, he had several aliases.
Wordlessly, he literally followed a step or two behind Dante, not that he had to worry about conversation. Everything he had learned so far from him had been given only grudgingly. So Chance bided his time looking around the park as they walked through it. It was light enough to see details and to appreciate the care that had been put into the landscaping. He wondered briefly if Canth or Emory had been here before, and considered showing it to them sometime.

Dante's tail flicked lightly as he looked ahead to where lights were on in a small cafe type store thing. The glass windows were painted to imitate frost, but they really didnt need to be for they were frosted by themselves.
Looking back slightly the wolf saw Cnahce looking around... "Do you live around here?"

Chance lifted a brow, more out of mild surprise than anything, and turned back to Dante. One last glance around them left a bit of a smirk on his face. "Technically, within walking distance." It was not that he was trying to be a smart aleck, but it was, technically, true. He could walk home. But... it was far enough away that he had never before really noticed this park, or the cafe that was now in sight.

Lifting an eyebrow in mere amusement, the wolf said nothing else and let his gaze go towards the cafe that was getting closer. He technically knew owner so he actually came quite often, hence how he became a regular. Finally at the door he opened it and had a very brief and happy smile as he was enveloped in warmth and the little bell that went off made a little chime.

Stepping inside the warm cafe brought an instant smile to Chance's face. It was so nice to be inside. He could just stand right here, barely inside the door, for an hour. He looked around the shop however, taking in the little details that made each cafe unique, no matter all the similarities. The smell of coffee, chocolate, and spices was a heady perfume. All of it gave him just that extra little boost. He did not feel nearly as bad as before. "Nice."

"Isnt it?" Dante murred ever so slightly, pleased. Slowly he started to unfold himself as he started to warm up. Looking around his ears perked, seeing as he thought, they were the only ones. He was sure Anatu was about. The little tiger boy lived in the same house thing as he did. He normally was the one around in the REALLY early mornings. Moving towards a table, the usual table he started to peel off his coat.
Easily Dante spotted the tail before he even emerged and they were greeted with a warm smile.
"Dante!" The tiger came over with a grin.
The wolf gave a small smile. "Hello Anatu ~"
"You brought a freind? How lovely ~ What can I get you guys? It's awfully chilly outside..."

Chance followed the wolf to a table, mildly surprised by the change in his mood. It was obvious the he not only knew his way around, but had a special seat that he liked to sit at. He watched the tiger approach Dante with obvious familiarity. He glanced at the wolf at the mention of his name before looking back at the tiger with a grin. "Nah, I'm all right."

The wolf's ears flicked slightly as he glanced at Chance a moment, about to offer it being his treat before he stopped himself for some odd reason... "I'll take a hot chocolate ~" Giving a small smile Dante gave a final nod.
Anatu looked from Chance to Dante. "One hot chocolate, and are you sure? It'll be on the house ~ how's that? Coffee? Tea? Cider? Muffin? Anything?"

"Oh yes I'm certain." He almost added to my statement, but jokes are best saved for friends - at least then you know if they'd appreciate it. So he gave them a good-natured smile instead and leaned back against his chair, arms folded. He looked around the room again and asked Anatu, "Did you design all of this? It turned out nice... has that warm, cozy feel to it that some places lack no matter what they do."

"Oh, Im so glad ~ That was what I was hoping for." The tiger beamed happily. "Dante was a help though 'cause he let me run my ideas by him." Anatu glanced around to, before he nodded slightly. "Either way ~ Thank you. Now, Ill go get the hot chocolate and I have other preparations to make, so if you'll excuse me. It was lovely meeting you...?" He had yet to catch the others name...
Dante glanced at Chance silently and looked around also. He knew what the place was like but he liked looking it over none the less. Looking back at Anatu, Dante's tail flicked as he gave a small smile, then looked at Chance at the name inquiry.

Chance turned a curious eye to Dante as Anatu explained that he had lent his creative perspective to the designing process. How interesting. "Of course," the unicorn smiled with a nod of his head.
He flicked a glance at Dante, who like Anatu had yet to learn his name. "I'm Chance," he smiled again at the white tiger and offered a hand. "Pleased to meet you."

"Terrific ~!" Anatu shook the others hand with a grin. "It was lovely meeting you Chance ~ You're welcomed here any time. Now f you'll excuse me ~" At that the tiger turned about and hurried back to the kitchen. Of course he'd be back with Dante's hot chocolate but until then ~
Dante stretched slightly as he gave a small yawn. He'd gone back to his mild indifference about everything.

After Anatu had left, Chance turned back to the wolf with a raised eyebrow and a half-smirk. "Nice to meet you too, Dante."

Stopping mid-stretch, Dante quirked an eyebrow. He wasnt quite sure if it was the same for the other or not 'cause it seemed Chance was mocking him.. Tail flicking he slowly lowered his arms and looked at the other. "I suppose. It's a severe pleasure to meet you... ~" He had his own little half-smirk come across his features.

Dante's sarcastic retort was a bit unexpected. Had this guy no sense of humor? "Well I would hope you brought me here to your friend's restaurant for that reason, instead of say, for charity." Since light banter and any other sort of conversation seemed to be out of the question, Chance turned flat eyes out the window. After a moment he realized that he was not nearly as cold as he had been moments ago. So, the wolf was good for something; annoyance had heated him up nicely.
