Neville/Luna. They just fit, no matter what J.K. says.
I also adore Draco/Ginny. It's so Romeo and Juliet. Plus, Ginny is way too fiery and interesting for Harry. He needs some one more boring, like Cho.

SiriusRemus. I don't read too much Wolfstar fan fiction, but I think that they fit each other perfectly.

I also likes Six Pack, Neville/Luna/Harry/Ginny, Flaming Nargles, Neville/Harry, Ron/Draco (I dont even know on that one). But the number one ship still remains Neville/Luna alone.
Oh...and Severus/Petunia instead of Severus/Lily. It works. xp

I'd make Lucius/Draco canon. Rawr. Or Snape/Lily. Because he loved her so much. :/

The Ghoul In Pajamas If this were about a month ago, I would have said Neville and Luna. But I rather adore Neville and Hannah now, they are perfect in my mind now! Dumbledore and Grindlewald. You never know what might have happened all those years ago, but I would very much like it to be cannon that something did. mrgreen Dumbledore/Grindelwald is pretty much canon, isn't it? I think of Sirius/Remus as canon. They have perfect chemistry. Not sure I'd want it to be actually stated plainly in the books though, because I love reading between the lines for that 'ship. I really wish that Madame Hooch and Professor Grubbly-Plank had been canon though, because I love the things that are just slipped into the background in the books and some throwaway mention of a relationship between them would be hilarious. This idea was put in my head by this icon: Which can be found in this icon post by iconseeyou. I'd also love to have had a mention of Luna in a relationship with anyone. I know she supposedly married Rolf Scamander, but it would have been good to read about her dating someone in Hogwarts during the books. Obviously nobody is good enough for her (except Neville, because nobody is too good for Nev) but it would have been simply hilarious to see how another Hogwarts student would have coped with her.

Non-slash would be Harry and Luna. I'm sorry, but after reading OotP, it seemed so canon! But then Jo made it Ginny! No that I have anything against Ginny, I just loved Harry and Luna together, they're so dynamic!
Slash would be Sirius and Snape. Because I think that all that out to get each other stuff could totally be twisted into sexual tension.
Has anyone here every even thought of that pairing, because if not I'm shocked... but I never ever see it... A lot of people are surprised that I like that pairing, because I don't like Snape that much and I adore Sirius... but I can't help it, I think it's interesting!

I actually also like Sirius/Snape. I'm just a little embarrassed about it because whenever I admit that to people, they look at me like I'm completely nuts. lol

Why? I love them! I think it's very likely. I mean, think about it. All the best romances start with the two hating each other. A perfect example of that can be found right in Harry Potter! Ron absolutely hated Hermione, and we all could tell she wasn't too fond of him, either.

Mia and Yuudai, have you two checked FanFiction.net? They've got some Sirius/Severus on there. I agree that a slash-y relationship between them could be canon, but...as I said when I still had my MinervaEvenstar account, I LOVE Sirius/Remus and definitely consider them to be canon no matter what anyone says.
Nonetheless, I peruse various slash ships in the Marauder era from time to time if I can't find a satisfactory puppy love one. James/Sirius is rough and funny, and James/Remus can be cute, though James/Sirius/Remus is the hottest bloody thing on the planet! exclaim heart exclaim heart Yes, I know James is totally, 100% straight, but it's still fun. biggrin
Severus/Remus is actually the second-most popular slash match for Lupin, and I've read a few good ones. It explains why he doesn't treat Remus like he does the others, and could have been a motive for the infamous Willow Prank: Sirius was jealous and tried to break them up.
What was my point again? Oh, right, there are some well-done Sirius/Severus ones out there. 3nodding I've NEVER seen anyone do a believable job of Severus/James, however. More's the pity. mrgreen Actually, once I encountered a Severus/Sirius/Remus and the ending of it was hilarious: "Night, Moony." "G'night, Padfoot." "Must you call each other those ridiculous nicknames?" "You have one too, Snivellus." rofl

I definitely agree! Well...for a het pairing at least. I'd adore to have been able to have had a little bit of either Bill/Harry, or Charlie/Harry as a canon pairing. --squee--

I like Harry/Luna too. 4laugh They're my favourite non-canon hetero pairing. James/Lily would be my fave canon het ship. Everyone who has read this thread already knows I have a major addiction to Marauder's era slash, especially the pups. xd
