"Besides," T'bell nudged her with an elbow and smiled, "Everyone says Weyr life is better than Hold life, hmm?" He looked up to Flute, who was fluttering around in the air. "S'pose you've written that letter? To my mother, I mean?"

"Hopefully." He smiled, "how's the training been going? Flute recognizes people wihout a problem, but Zeph still won't go between, unless we're on Liliath and she takes up there anyway." A small worried frown crossed his features and pet the blue's head. "I think I should inquire about that, but I'm afraid I wouldn't know who to ask. At least the whers have a load of recent information on them, better than a few years ago for sure, but the flitts? There isn't really a flitt handler that I know of."

With a slight shrug of his shoulders he plopped down on the ground, causing Zephyr to squeak a bit. "Not much to do when you're waiting around though, is there? There's supposed to be some nice cloths coming in, Imirin says, and maybe some tapestries as well. I wouldn't mind handing over marks or labour for a few of those...I don't have any up in my weyr, you saw."

"A glowbasket when you asked for a skin?" He tilted his head, trying to make that mental leap. "Did you ask for a glowing skin?" With a teasing smile he patted the ground next to him as an offer for her ot make herself comfortable. "I haven't tried objects yet, though she does fetch meatrolls...for herself."

"I think you're doing a fine job." He smiled winningly. "I'm making some headway with my whers, who aren't so little anymore. I think Tabesk nearly curshed me while I was attempting to sleep last night." He shook his head and flicked his braid over his shoulder, since Zephyr had begun playing with it, "She climbed right onto the bed and flopped over me like a sack of firestone."

T'bell gave the little firelizard a round of applause for her proper retrieval. "Yes, but I have a weakness for little things. I don't care if they grow bigger...though my bones might protest when they sit on me."

T'bell looked at the skin appreciativly. "Not too bad." He murmered with a teasing voice. Zephyr stretched his neck out to peer with curious eyes and chirped a response.

"There are a whole bunch of places that you could be happy in, and there's no one who says you have to stay in the Hold you're from." He smiled and rolld the scroll back up, "It's silly to go where you'll only be miserable. You should go where you can be happy."

The greenrider tilted his head and smiled at her and Azure, "It might be a nice change."
