October 03

I am the worlds biggest loser.

Last night, I moved back in with my big brother. My nice apartment in Durem? I got evicted. My job working part time at the salon? Lost it. So I had to come crawling back to my big brother.

We hadn't talked much since I stormed out a few months ago. He was always interfering in my life, and I got tired of it. So I got a job, got a house, and tried to live my life by myself. It wouldn't have surprised me if Bob had shut the door in my face.

But he didn't. He took one look at me (I bet I looked awful, all the bawling I'd done that day), shook his head and invited me in. I started crying again as I told him how I'd screwed up my life. And what did he do?

"Well, your room's still open. Stay as long as you need to, brat." He tousled my hair and went into the kitchen. I followed him, hardly able to believe that he wasn't even gloating.

"You do know," he added, "that I expect you to do some of the housework. Especially until you get a job of your own." I wrinkled my nose; the kitchen smelled very odd. Turning my head, I saw dishes piled up.

"That's why you're not gloating! You want a maid!" He grinned at me as he disappeared down the basement stairs.

"Of course!" He said cheerfully. I groaned, because Bob and I were too much alike in our housekeeping skills.

I coaxed Bob out of the basement and we went and got my few possessions. When we returned to the house, I tossed a box on the ground and collapsed on the couch. Bob wrinkled his nose at the box and started to dig in it.

"And what is this, little miss?" He asked, holding up the bow I got a few days ago.

"A weird disappearing lady gave it to me." He scowled at the bow and tossed it to me.

"You attract things like this, don't you?" He grumbled, stalking back down into the basement.

October 3rd- later update

I hate Bob. And I really mean it this time.

Okay, I woke up this morning and strung a ribbon on my bowtie and started to wear it around. Then I went downstairs and started to watch TV. Bob joined me, glaring all the while at my bow. He mentioned something about a woman named Korini, and how I should meet her. So, I went.

Not only did I meet Korini, but I met her twin boys, Hiten and Manten. Hiten likes to zap things, and he wanted to play with my bow. But he understood the bow doesn't like to be zapped. Her kids are so cute.

I also found out a bit about my bow. Apparently it's going to turn into a kid some day. I'm going to be a mommy. 0-0

But I had to leave, because I promised Bob that I'd clean up the house. I went home and decided to start in the kitchen.

This is why I hate Bob. Gross things found in the kitchen:

-Chunky pop.
-Chunky milk.
-Green Orange juice.
-(And the worst) A plastic container full of what appeared to be very lumpy milk. It smelled awful.

So, the kitchen is pretty clean. I think I'll tackle the bathroom tomorow.

Oh, and I asked Bob about the plastic container: it was potatoes. I asked him when he had potatoes last. "Oh, you know, when you made them that one time before you moved out."

Ewwwwww!

October Fourth:

Today was ''clean up the bathroom'' day. Joy.

While not nearly as bad as doing the dishes and having to deal with all of that crap, it was still pretty bad. Bob hates doing laundry as much as he hates doing dishes, so some of the towels were more than a little mildewy. I even found some of my clothes, terribly icky, of course.

After tossing out the old clothes and washing the salvageable ones I started in on the shower. That took another hour, and gave me a pretty bad chemical headache.

Bob brought home dinner. It was from some odd Mexican restaurant. Not bad, actually. After dinner Bob kissed me on the head and told me to take it easy. He can be a good guy, sometimes. Not too often, but he does know when I''m tired.

So I crawled up into my nice warm bed and put the bow back around my neck, then started reading. The bow kinda wilted when I first put it on, maybe because of the chemical smell I was omitting. I started reading Complete Sherlock Holmes, starting at the beginning with ''A study in Scarlet'' I read a few of my favorite parts out loud, and the bow got a little warmer. I think it likes me reading to it.

Bob laughed at me when he heard me reading, but I pointed out that I used to read to my blankie, and look where that got me. He shut up after that.

Bob left me a note this morning. Told me not to worry about working in the house, he had a job for me. Joy.

So, I tried to see what else Bowtie likes. Here's a small list:

What it likes:

Being read to.
Being worn.
. . . And that's about all. It seems a bit fickle.

What it dislikes:

Anything that Bob has touched.
Bob himself.

It's kinda cute that they don't like each other, actually. I think I'll have to try to find out what else Bowtie likes tomorow.

Bob's idea of a job fell through. Like I really wanted to waitress in a bar, anway. There were two highlights of the night: One really drunk guy hit on me, which was amazing. Guys don't usually hit on me. Not pretty enough and too smart. The second highlight was when Bob threw the said guy out of the bar.

That part was funny because Bob is a very little person, and this guy wasn't. He still threw him out, over his head no less. The Bob went back to bartending. When he closed his bar at like three in the morning, he told me I wasn't coming back. Something about being under 21, not wanting me to get jumped in the streets, or something.

We got back home about for, and Bob went right to sleep in the basement. I took a shower, retreived Bowtie, and sat down to watch some movies. Bowtie was pretty netural about Secondhand Lions, which I love. It liked Darkness Falls, which I hate.

I went to bed after Darkness Falls, and only got a few hours sleep. Kept Dreaming that Matlida was after me. I'll probably write again later.

Found a show that Bowtie loves last night: CSI. The entire time the show was on it made my neck nice and warm. I've figured out that when it's warm, it's happy, and when it's cold it's angry.

I had to do another three loads of laundry again. But at least I have clean clothes. I worked on cleaning up more of the house, the only part I refuse to clean is the basement. Since Bob sleeps down there, I figure he can clean it up himself.

It's a girls night out tonight with my friend Skye Suruga. So, Bob has to watch Bowtie. I put the ribbon around Bob's head. After a while, he got a kinda glazed look on his face. I think Bowtie gave him a brain freeze. I found an old episeode of CSI and put it on, which kinda unthawed him.

Ugh. Bob prodded me out of bed at about 1 O''clock today. He tossed an ice cold Bowtie on me, which quickly dethawed.

Blech, I don''t even remember eating salsa, my my mouth tastes of it. I think I''m going to stop while I''m ahead and just go back to bed.

Okay, I feel much better today! After a lot of sleep and some pizza for breakfast, I decided to go shopping.

I bought some cute little beanies, a big plush, and a kitty for bowtie when he grows up. Yes, he. I''m getting distinctly male vibes from the bowtie. At least this''ll make thinking up names easier.

I''ve decided to call the kitty ''Dupin''. She''s a cute little calico, who''s kinda nuts.

I took Dupin to the vet today to get shots. Ugh. That's the best word to describe it.

While we were sitting in the vet's office, they were giving a goat a c-section. It smelled like a bloody slaughterhouse. So, now I feel really sick. I think i'm going to head upstairs for a little nap.

October 12th

Didn't sleep worth crap last night. I kept feeling like something was outside my window, just staring holes in me. I swear, I even saw red eyes outside. When I saw the eyes, Bowtie turned to ice on my neck. I grabbed my baby blanket and ran downstairs. I heard a knocking on the roof and squeezed my eyes shut. Nearly killed myself going down the basement steps.

Bob was pretty surprised when Me, Blankie, Bowtie, and Dupin joined him on his bed, but he let me cuddle up to him untill morning. Of course, Bob lives in the haunted basement, so it really didn't help me out in the sleeping department.

I also got a new little cutie. Raekon's her name, and she's taken a liking to Bob. She usually sleeps under Bob's bed, but she crawled up with all of us. Very nice and warm, but she kinda snores. Bob snores as well, which probably accounted to most of my problems.

Between the staring eyes, the haunted basement, and the snorings, I got perhaps an hour and a half of sleep. Lovely.

The thing was back last night. Therefore, no sleep was gotten. I swear, I'm going to die soon.

Bowtie's been feeling a bit odd.

I think I've given up any chance of sleeping normally anymore. I've just started grabbing my stuff and moving to the basement. The red eyes still stare at me, but Bob's pretty intimidating when he wants to be.

I got a beep while I was at the HQ today. Bob somehow got his head stuck in the window when he was making a monster trap. My brother, the Genius.

Bob's kinda mad at me. I've been draging him up to the ACCAC HQ latley, and we spent last night in his car because of it. He said the Red Eyes would eat me alive if I got out of the car. Jerk.

So, we spent the night in his car that was sitting in an all night conveinence store parking lot. There were lots of lights overhead, and the Red Eyes stayed outside of them. Got my first good nights sleep in about a week. It felt lovley.

Bob and Korini don't get along well. I dragged him up to the HQ last night. First he got on her bad side by calling the kids 'monsters', then he started poking her ears.

Which, as he told me later, was the most obvious thing to do. All children are little monsers, he sad with a glare at me, and he'd seen perhaps two other kitsunes.

When we got home, Bob went to work on his 'Monster Trap'. He drove steaks into the ground all around the house, then attached a peice of paper to each one and connected each steak with a peice of twine.

"That'll stop the monster!" He said cheerfully. And it did. No red eyes looked in at me last night.
