Thank u! Even if u think its unecceasry, u get the point. I'm just trying to make a point, no one has to agree with it and i don't expect everyone to agree with it. But the two peopl above this actualy get it now. Thanks for being patient!

Hey, I hope you don't mind, but from now on, I think I'm going to quote your posts and add punctuation to them. You should read these and study where I put the punctuation (commas, periods, etc) so you can learn how to do this effectively. Not being a jerk, this is for your benefit, since some simple punctuation can make you much easier to understand. Read the post I've quoted above, it looks much better with only a few edits.

You should also arrange his spelling mistakes so he knows how to arrange his mistakes.

No I don't mind thanks I just rush thingsout thats all. I just want to get ym thoughts out so fast. That I don't always stop to look at what I'm typing and then I don't bother to go back either. mainly cause Im anxious to get back into the fray of things. but thats my real problme with punctioation I guess. Sorry I tend to ramble sometimes

It's not a bad idea, but it is a stupid one, why would bungie reinvent a perfectly fine game

Instead, why don't they just do a third-person prequel/sequel to Halo, with the style of battlefront, only you have one character and the game isn't a repetitive matter of Life and Death

I do not think they should reinvent it I think it should be a spin off just like Halo Wars is a Spin off it doesn't replace the story line of Halo its its own thing for the sake of fun thats what I am trying to venture for here with the idea lol but yeah I would agree with that assesment to reinvent the whell would be stupid Halo is just fine as it is and I do enjoy it quite alot.

I do not think they should reinvent it, I just think it should be a spin off, sort of like Halo Wars is a spin off. It doesn't replace the storyline of Halo, it's kind of its own thing. Just something for the sake of fun, that's what I am trying to get at here. xd But yeah, I would agree that trying to reinvent the wheel would be stupid. Halo is just fine as it is and I do enjoy it quite alot.

Went a little crazy with this one...

1. Dude, can you please be literate? I cannot understand a thing you're saying.
2. Could it be because you aren't good enough for Legendary? It's a shooter. One side against the other. It's always going to be that way. One side is always going to be better than the other, especially with AI opponents. It's supposed to be challenging. Would the difficulty be called "Legendary" if Master Chief was having a picnic with the Arbiter? NO. War is hell, and hell is supposed to be tough.

1. Some people really do have a tough time with literacy, dude. Try and be more sensitive.
2. I think you're missing his point. Actually, I think I may be missing his point as well, since, as you so tactfully pointed out, it really is hard to understand what he's trying to say. Basically, what I've gleaned from his posts is that he'd like a another Halo shooter that, instead of being story-centric, would have large, short-term Capture The Bases campaigns (a la Battlefront) wherein you choose to play for either the Covenant or the Humans, and each faction would have different "classes" to play as in battle. If you choose the Humans, you could be a Marine, a Helljumper, possibly a Spartan, etc. If you choose to play as the Covenant, you could be a Brute, and Elite, or whatever. And obviously, each class would have it's own strengths and weaknesses and it would all be balanced so one isn't more powerful than the other. Each class would have it's own weapons set (just like Battlefront) so you wouldn't gain weapons from fallen enemies, etc. Honestly, if this is what he's talking about, it sounds just different enough from regular Halo for it to possibly work. However, I still think it's completely unnecessary.

It's unnecessary. It would be a total rip-off of id Software's recent Halo-killer, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Just take everything that Maximillian said, but instead of UNSC and Covenant forces, it would be GDF and Strogg forces.
@Griggle 990: That's already what Halo Wars is. An RTS where you can have massive armies of UNSC and Covenant units.

No the kind of RTS that Halo Wars will be using usaly will only allow about 1000 units on the map. The Total War games are TBS and RTS in the same game. Plus each unit you make in a total war game, is made up of a few hundred individual units. In Halo Wars, you can only make one unit at a time (unless you make a ton of barracks). See, they are completely different.

And like 1,000 guys isn't a lot of people? Not as much as Command and Conquer and Total War, but it's still a lot of guys.

Ah if Only they were similar. Tiberium Wars had such Great battles with units in mass. Sure there was a limit but I think u could get more then 1000 for it. If Halo Wars is Like that I will be content for the time being. I would still want to be in the middle of it all, but I'll take a birds eye command apraoch fro the time being.

even I'll agree with that 1,000 guys is alot but can we elaborate please are we mearly reffering to infantry tanks or both.

plus lets take into acount in tiberium wars the unit meter filled up based on how big and powerful the unit was. That being said how many troops on a troop meter do u think a Scarab is worth and how many do u think can be deployed at once. surely they must have some balance u cant just mow over the other team with an endless army of Scarabs. as cool as that would be for covenant lackies Im sure the UNSC fans and supporters would be pissed!!

Better idea: give the Force unleashed guns and free online play.

The Force Unleashed with guns? That's just as unreasonable as hardcore gunfights to Portal. Force Unleashed focuses on using Force powers and lightsaber combat, not guns.

I'm just saying it would be a good idea, seeing as how there are apparently no plans for Battlefront 3.
