As he moved even closer to her, she continued her vigilant watch of him. The simple truth was that she didn't want him in her personal space, not when she was so clearly upset at him for being such an idiot. Sini did not want to run the risk of hitting him across the face because he said something stupid to her. It was almost guaranteed that he'd say something stupid sooner or later, so the only way of keeping him from getting hurt was to make sure he stayed out of swiping distance. Fortunately, Njiru seemed to be thinking along the same lines as her for once. He didn't want to get hit, and she didn't want to hit them, so they kept a respectful distance between one another. "No, it would not be too much of you to ask if I'd be willing to listen to such a proposal." Of course, just because she was willing to listen did not mean that she was willing to go along with whatever he had up his fur.
"Of course I do, your ambitions are ruining your life, and you've yet to come to realize it." But, when he finally got the terms of his deal out, she was perfectly stunned that he would even think of such a ridiculous thing. He was basically asking her to find him a mate, and if she didn't he continue with his ambition to become king. The problem was that it simply was not how things were done! Njiru would be better off finding a mate for himself then she ever would. It was improper and even rude of her to suggest to another female that she knew a male who was looking for a mate. It was Njiru's job, and not her own! But... it was perhaps the only way she'd be able to save him, and that was where the dilemma came in. Sini desperately wanted to aid him... but everything about this deal was morally wrong in her opinion.
"You've got yourself a deal. I'll find someone who'll consider becoming your mate, and once I do you have to stop this silly goal of your's. If you do not, I pray the moon curses you for what you intend to put me through." And her being a priestess, it would be wise to not back out of his side of the deal when she had called upon the moon to aid her if he used treachery against her.
But... she was still not truly sure what she was getting herself into by accepting this deal of his.
