"The Gilgamesh signals are down, and besides that, we have no idea who would be coming to help us out there. This way, I know who will pick it up, and can trust they'll look into it." She leaned some of her weight on Jarred, to lessen the leg. "Have you ever heard about the phenomenon of twins and shared pain?"

"Seriously? That's your big plan? Stabbing yourself so a twin, who might not even know where you are can feel the pain?" Jarred sighed, picking himself up with Syx on his shoulder.. "And who's to say I can't just turn the signals back on?" Jarred turned to Sara.
*I'm sorry Jarred. The Haze has been uploaded, but the computer is unresponsive. The lockdown mode requires a physical activation, which I cannot duplicate.*
"Fantastic. Come on back." He grunted. The PDA sprouted legs, and scurried back to Jarred, climbing up his leg onto his belt.

Syx gave him a glare and pulled away from his shoulder to stand on her own, despite the pain. She wasn't going to take his help if he was going to be an a**. "More like five twins. And Sam messed with the distress signals, even if we got it working, I don't know who it would be calling. If they've gotten to the guards, and gotten to the marshals, think it would be too hard to intervene the Space-Guard?" Syx leaned against the wall of the ship, and started inching in the direction of the prison section, in mind to get to the medical facility set up by the crazy prisoner.

Jarred shrugged, allowing her to make her own choice. "What exactly is the purpose of all of this, though?" He questioned, while reading the analysis of the spider's signal. He didn't let himself get to any conclusions, he didn't know anything for certain yet. "I mean, why here? It's a prisoner transport, and if they just wanted to kill a prisoner, they would have done it and left."

"Isn't that the golden question." Syx said as she moved. "They did try to kill a prisoner, and most of them ended up dead for it. But for the most part rumors have been circulating about some stone. I'm assuming the prisoner had the stone at one point, but she's difficult to talk with."

"Well we might want to get to her. She might be dead already." Jarred said, returning his PDA to his side, ad helping Syx walk.

Syx let out a laugh. "Yeah, she might be dead." She laughed again. She accepted Jarred's help this time, regretting the fact that she felt the need to stab that deep. "As I said, the guards who went to kill her ended up dead. The bodies were at her feet when I got there. Her records are even more fun." Syx just shook her head.

Eulalia Danae Syx let out a laugh. Jarred's brow drooped as he helped her walk. "It wasn't the woman I spoke to in the bar, was it?"

Syx tilted her head, surprised that would even come up. "No, this one is in a suit, and hasn't left the prison as far as I know. Whoever you spoke to, Penelope? Penguini?...whatever, wasn't a prisoner as far as I'm aware." Syx paused and glanced at him. "Why? Think she could do something like that? If she can, we could probably use her."

"Maybe. I haven't seen her in action much, but she can be dangerous." Jarred held back a shrug, not wanting to upset Syx's leg. He didn't know how much he wanted to tell her about Pendari, or what she said. "I wouldn't advise us going back into the bar, though. Let's just get you down to the medic."

"We'll be needing as much help as we can get, that at least is for sure. But we'll worry about that later." Syx gave him a side glance, tipping her hat up a bit. "Never thought I'd be depending on a prison escapee to help me out. Tu would find this hilarious."
(move to Prison, hallways are lame.)

Skarloey, having taken the appearance and access card from the corpse of a crew member, entered the bridge door. He spied the corpse of the security marshal guy, and raised an eyebrow. He used his alacrity implant and stealthily dragged the body into the shadows, where he began the painful process of switching appearances. When he was done, he switched clothes with Sam's corpse, and took his ammo and badge. Without a word, he left the bridge.

Stephen glanced over at the man dragging Sam into the corner. having obviously not noticed him, Stephen shadowed him down the hallway. ((BTW, how did he learn the access codes?))

As Syx reached the door of the Bridge, she paused and glanced back at Garret. "Wait....who are you?"

"I could ask you the same question" He said, looking at her. His eyes darted down, and then back to her face. He had to refrain from using his REI's in an...immoral way.
