 Well personally, I think he's a nice choice.
I was originally for Gaspard, though.
When I sent the news to my friends about who was cast as Edward, they were surprisingly happy about it.
They knew who I was talking about because they're big Harry Potter fans XD

im not sure about him, but thats a bad pic on the site anyway, OMG i luv the cast for Bella, shes just prety but plane jane-ish enough to be her, i really like there choice for that NOW lets hope they dnt scrw this up *crosses fingers*

When I got the news about both Edward and Bella I was screaming. But with Kristen Stewart I was screaming with joy..with Robert Pattinson I was screaming in frustration..

lol thats exactly wut i did 2, my friends and I are big HP fans xD we're kewl with him playing edward it'll be interesting to see

Its weird, my friend is a HUGE HP fan. HUGE. He sat at target for 2 hours waiting for something or other HP and to be the first one to get it even though he cant open it until Christmas. (and he sat there tilting it back and forth staring for an hour, apparently its holographic)
But he had NO idea who I was talking about.

It has been confirmed. I went on a 'refreshing' breakdown, and eventually got through. Stephenie's comment was similar to her comment on Kristen. Strange thing is that the Lexicon's been down for a while too.

That's what I thought when I first saw him, too. I was like; D: "where'd edward go?" I never thought Gaspard looked like Edward, but the way he acts and the way he carries himself is just too good for me to think of anyone else as Edward. The expressions he can create, especially with his eyes, are very...vampire-ish. So I was very sad about this. ;__; Very happy about Bella, though. I always thought Emily Browning was too 'hollywood' looking to play her, Kristen is so pretty, but in a normal and not made up way.
