The shows been..ok. Bleh casting. I really don't get the logic behind some of this too. Goonger Black dislikes that Red, Blue, and Yellow are childish, yet in ep 2 he's all for Green following him even through Green is as bad if not worse. His character also is swaying around too much. One ep he's all serious and like "you guys suck" then later on he's like "lol I had you guys wrong" then moments later "CHILDREN!" but its still somehow amusing me enough to keep watching.

Engine-o is really ugly.. but I think these new mecha pictures top the ugly of Engine-o or come close. The second team gattai mecha looks ...eh... and the combination of them all REALLY looks ugly to me. Maybe the final thing will look less ugly but... I hoped that of Engine-o too.

Hey now, I liked Ultimate Daibouken. A bit awkward looking, but it was a cool mecha overall. It took a bit but Daibouken grew on me and with it each of its variants. Engine-o though I really don't see growing on me, and I don't see myself liking the secondary gattai mecha nor liking the combination of all six. I'll wait to see them in action to make a real judgement.

Goonger has been ok but I can't say it holds me. I still feel their all a bit bleh in character and acting and nothing really has been interesting yet. I'm hoping this changes with Engine-o G9 (G standing for Gods-how-is-that-not-falling-over in this case) and the new flying engines. Gold and Silver look decent enough suit wise, and one of them was kick hopper in Kabuto which adds a bit of win to goonger where there is little of it taking place.

There appears to be upgraded forms of the first three engines which makes them actually look cool and makes the engine-o form turn into daishogun, basically a shoguny more kickass form of itself.

I don't mind lighthearted, funny, un-serious shows as long as they have some kind of appeal to them. Whats the humor been so far really? Not so much the cast I think, but rather what happens like red switching bodys, or the mess up with the souls being inserted into the casts. It wasn't really the characters so much an action that happened regardless if red switch bodies or blue or any other goonger. At least this is how I have felt so far.

Ashame Daishogun looks to be a movie only thing, and from what I have heard there will be an Engine-O G12

I think its likable enough too. I'd not keep watching it if I thought it was horrible. Just I feel it hasn't done anything to truly make it seem good to me. It has funny moments, but thats not really enough to hold me. It is almost like boukenger where I really didn't have any ranger who stood out to me, except worse since I actually enjoyed the cast as opposed to this one. It could just be like Gekirangers for me though. I didn't enjoy it much at first but it picked up when Gou showed up. I didn't really fully enjoy some ending parts, but it picked up lots of steam for me as it went on. Goonger has yet to do this, but then i'm hoping bronze(Engineman), silver and gold change my mind.

So far they are made of pure win in my opinion. Of course, all extras seem to kick total butt the first few eps they come out in but I like the two characters so far and their style. I know its a rocket dagger, but I didn't expect it to be used like it was. Go-on Gold's defeat of the monster in ep 17 was great to me too.
