Kira climbed skillfully through the trees. Having grown up right outside a forest, she'd spent most of her spare time climbing trees and exploring, especially when she was younger. For a while, she was neck and neck with Fenrir, then something happened; Fenrir slipped and crashed through the branches all the way to the ground.
Kira blinked, loking down as she heard a rather loud 'thump', followed by what sounded like something deflating really fast. "Fenrir, are you alright?" She called out to him, making her way to the finish line; the very top of the tree.
Sitting on the top most solid branch, she tilted her head, looking worriedly down at Fenrir. Her legs swung a bit and she wore a face of concern for her new friend.

He stirred on the ground, twitching fingers and toes to make sure nothing was broken. Once he was sure everything was in working order, he sighed thankfully. He'd fallen out of a tree before and broken his arm when he was younger, and it wasn't an expirience he wanted to revisit. Thankfully, he didn't feel that familiar pain this time around.
His a** still ached like billio, though.
He looked up at Kira, smiling weakly. Aw man, he couldn't believe he lost to a girl. What a bummer. Still...she was a lot more impressive and funny than most girls, so he supposed it was okay. Most girls wouldn't even want to climb a tree.
"'M fine. My a** aches like it went ten rounds with a fella named Bubba, though." he grunted, rolling over onto his belly. It was highly likely he didn't even know what that meant; he was likely just parroting a comparison for pain he'd heard. "Don't think nothin' is broked, though."

Kira sighed and started making her way down through the branches. "Good to know you're ok, Fenny. I'd feel bad if you were hurt..." She gave out a nervous laugh.
"Oop!" She lost her footing and fell, but reached out and grabbed a branch before she fell to far. The grip she had on the branch was tight, and she hung there for a few seconds, her heart racing. Looking down, she quickly came to the conclusion that if she had fallen all the way down, she'd be in worst shape than Fenrir.
Hauling herself back up onto the branch, she continued her way down until she got to a lower branch. Once on that branch, she hung upside down and grinned at Fenrir. "Looks like a girl totally creamed you at climbing a tree! Darn, we should have made bets..."

He sat up slowly, still sore and aching. Ooh, that was rough! He'd live, though. He'd had worse- the boy was always getting hurt, it seemed. But with such poor coordination, who would be surprised? As Kira slipped, though, he jumped up, ready to try and catch her if she fell. Thankfully, she caught herself, though. He'd hate to see her hurt, even if she was a cootie-infested girl.
He winced a bit at the sudden movement, however. Oh, his butt still hurt! He flopped back down, laying on his belly. He'd be content to nap out here all day...or at least until the pounding in his bottom stopped.
He looked up at her, blushing and smiling sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah man, I can't believe it! We need to have a rematch sometime when my arse ain't aching so much. You're pretty cool for a girl, you know?"

"Hey! I'm pretty cool in general, thank you very much!" Kira crossed her arms, sticking her tongue out at Fenrir. Her face was beginning to get red from the rush of blood to her head, and she grabbed the branch and flipped her feet over her head so the she was hanging right side up again. Letting go of the branch, she dropped to the ground, hands on her hips.
"We'll totally have to have a re-match, though." She smiled and offered her hand to help him up. "Lets go raid the caf and see if we can get you some ice for your butt. I hope you didn't bruise the tail bone, it'll hurt to sit for a week or so if you did..."

He grinned up at her for his vantage point on the ground, following her as she plopped down. Oh they would have a rematch! Then he'd show her that he was a premium tree-climber!
"Heh, I look forward to it!" he intoned, still grinning.
He wasn't sure he wanted to get up, but at the mention of 'raiding the caf'...how could he resist? He took her hand and pulled himself up. Ooh, he hoped he didn't bruise his tailbone! Ah, it sounded painful and he was aching enough as it was.
He hobbled a bit towards the building again. "Oh, I hope not. Still, I've had worse..." he mused.
He had indeed had worse too- broken bones, black eyes, dislocated shoulders and knees... he was accident prone, largely because he was a daredevil and lacked what most called 'grace' and 'coordination'. And common sense. It was a dangerous combination for himself, people that cared for him, and anything in the general area.
"Ya know what's cool? Those people that climb like...big old buildings and statues! I'd love to do that some time...it looks so fun. It's like urban mountain climbing!" he began excitedly.

Kira winced, watching him hobble. "Oh man, that looks like you're in some serious pain from that fall.... We're going to get some ice on that butt of yours before we raid anything."
Grinning, she hooked her arm through his, giggling. Immediately, her stomach fluttered a bit and she did her best not to blush. Oh did she have a crush on this boy; he was funny and different, and she liked it. He also probably wouldn't be ashamed of her stupid antics, and she knew she had a lot of those!
Grinning, she led him through the halls of the building to the caf, opening the door and peeking her head in. Part of her hoped that Phil, the janitor, would be there; he'd probably enjoy raiding the caf too.

Ice? Aw, how would that help? All it would do would make his butt cold. Then he'd be cold and in pain. Plus, when ice got hot, it melted. When it melted, it got wet. He didn't want to be soggy on top of everything.
Not that he liked his butt aching either.
"It's a butt-wound most tenuous and a pain most...painful," he said, his over-the-top, playful, dramatic tone faltering at the end when he couldn't find a better word, "but I think...I think I can still find the strength to get through this."
He walked along with her, arm hooked. He was unaware of the girl's feelings and crush right now and at the moment, his thoughts were along the lines of Oh, I hope I don't get cooties from being so close to a girl!.
He poked in after her, looking around for any good food to jack or anyone else to suck into their group. the place seemed empty for now. Ah well, all the better for raiding, then! Maybe he could leave some sharpie graffiti while he was at it...though maybe defacing his new place of work wouldn't be a good idea...

Kira giggled a little as Fenrir tried to be overly dramatic. "You certainly are a card, Fenny. Not one melodramatic moment with you as far as I can tell. I just hope the bone isn't bruised, then you won't be able to sit down comforitabley for about a week...."
She was completely oblivious to the second grader thoughts of cooties running through her companion's head, but she was rather happy that he hadn't pulled away.
Once they'd gotten into the clearly deserted cafeteria, Kira sweatdroped. "Well, I suppose we don't have to worry about anyone catching us.... Lets go pick the lock and get into the refrigerator! I think they have whipped cream in there! Hmmmmm, whipped cream." She smiled, very happy about the idea of whipped cream.

The thought of not being able to sit properly did not appease the boy. "Aw, I hope not. My sittin' muscle's like...my favorite one. That, an' my tongue. Did you know the tongue is a muscle?" he continued on, glancing around the empty cafeteria. "But if that bone has the nerve to get bruised and ruin if for my sittin' muscle, I'ma have to have a stern talk with it! Mano y...well, bone. That jerk."
Aw, no one here to play with? Oh well. That just meant more room and snackies for them, right? Plus...this way they wouldn't get caught! He grinned in an almost sinister manner at the mention of breaking in to steal food. It probably wasn't smart to steal from his work but it was only whipped cream! Plus, once they heard it was for creamy glory, he was sure anyone in their right mind would understand!
"Aw, whipped cream? Seriously? Awesome. I am SO for this!" he said, wiggling a little with excitement.
