These rules are lovely and wonderful and I will always do my best to keep them close to my heart.

Here's to the night... it is the evening of the day.

These rules are cool, but it's like being in the customer service industry.... Plaster on that smile FoJ and leave the baggage at the door. n_n <3

heh I haven't read these in a long time (and I'm not going to now ^^; ), but I think it was mainly to end all the drama and the bickering and meanness and such. So that's never going to end (it exists everywhere and always will), and yes, the rules are nice and all, but I for one encourage being able to talk to each other about our problems. Sure it might get too heavy and scare people away, but seriously, it's not like we really get new people in the FoJ lately anyways. Heavy role play and heavy discussions and fighting could scare people away and all that, but I say we shouldn't have to fake it or change who we are to be part of the conversation. FoJ is one of the places I have come when I'm down and I've felt better. Of course at times it's going to be a downer with what's going on but oh well, it's not always going to be that way. And there will be people who tell you to not drag your troubles in, but I think we should be free to share. I'm just rambling now but ya, felt like writing that =)

I must not have read them as closely as I thought, if they encourage no talking about anything personal. What makes a community close is... well, what Sailor said.

ok, so I actually read Eve's post now, and I don't see anything bad with them. They sound good. I think I was more responding to certain "rules" I had gathered from people over time, like don't bring your baggage into the thread and such.
Candy, if you got the sense of what you were saying from Eve's post, you'll have to point it out to me, because from that I don't see it.
