Scratillion2 If you wanted to look at this philosophically, declaring oneself legit is in essence a way of speaking of ones illegitimacy. But that's just the sleep deprivation talking. Hooray philosophy! Anyway... Auras: Yep. Still do often. Astral projection: Once or twice, not very good at it. Spirit Guide: Used to, best not talk about it, cause it wasn't a good experience... Energy manipulation: Absolutely. I practice and train daily. *hugs* Good to see you back on the forums, Scrat. smile

8Bit Jack Forgive me for reviving the subject of fluff (feel free to delete this if it'd open up a can of worms. Hell, it may have all been covered- I've been out of the loop for a little bit) but I've got to ask: How many of you actually see auras? How many of you can actually astrally project? How many of you actually have a spirit guide? How many of you can actually manipulate energy? I don't actually see auras but haven't ever claimed I can. I presume by see you mean literal sight. Frankly I think anyone who claims that is hallucinating. 'Seeing' auras is done with second sight, not literal sight. And for the most part... I sense them intuitively, but I don't 'see' them (hell, I hear some people 'hear' or 'smell' auras rather than 'see' them... I think I'm one of those 'other sense' categories). I don't have any clue what I'm 'supposed' to be seeing anyway. Astral Project? No clue. Half the time I don't know what people mean by that term. Some define it really narrowly... in which case, I really haven't. If you define it more broadly as any sort of otherwordly travel, I do it regularly. We all do, whenever we imagine anything. Spirit guides? That's one I'm quite spot on, seeing as how I've had them for over ten years now. The term 'spirit guide' I don't particularly care for sometimes though, since they are first and foremost individuals I have a relationship with (e.g. like friend, family, etc), not some sort of 'guide' alone. Manipulate energy? For the most part yeah. It isn't core to my practice so beyond grounding, centering, making energy balls, charging, and just in general being able to move the stuff around... I don't do much with that. So it depends on what sort of manipulation you're talking about. Technically, we all 'manipulate' energy every day just by living!

Personally for me... I do actually think that I'm a dragon (have for eight years), think I am a kitsune as well (since this past October), but they aren't both one thing... mind you.
I also think, as a result of believing I'm kitsune... that my energy work has somewhat improved. There's stuff relating there that you could ask me about if you want. sweatdrop
I'm also in the possession of a staff with a coyote head on it that I feel could be housing what I believe is the coyote's spirit or consciousness.
How such a thing could come about could very well be something else took residence in it... or possibly it's a construct of sorts. I honestly wouldn't know.
Of course... things could be further complicated in that I do question these things I believe in... so... huh.

Actually, I feel a bit cold, but still fuzzy. ^_^ The lifetime accomplishments of a cryo; get a hug and get accused of making the other person cold. I still made you feel fuzzy gorramit, and that fills the void of warmth.

When I claim to know something I really do know it. I do not lie. That is something I will not do unless I have to.
I can see auras. But I have to really concentrate to see something.
I am otherkin; I'm an elf. And a queen apparently, but that's another story that I don't even know the full contents.
I have AP'd once.
I'm pretty sure a lot of the places in my dreams are real and I actually go there in my dreams.
I do have powers hidden within me from my past lives and my shadow self.
I can communicate with the Earth and Her children.
I can communicate with Aphrodite.
I do see and hear things.
All of this I am 90% sure about. There is always that part of me that wonders if I make it all up or if I am needing more medication.

I can see auras if I really strain my eyes, to the point where they're in pain... I have to remove my glasses, first, too, otherwise I can't tell the difference between aura and glare. Today, mine's a soft pinkish white... Not sure what that means, but I feel okay... XD
I've been trying to work on astral projection for a few months, but I can't concentrate enough. My lack of concentration's preventing me from getting anywhere. So now I'm working on remaining calm after meditation... NOT working, but oh well... XD
I've lucid dreamt before, not on purpose... It was a rather embarrassing dream, so I'm not going to go into details, but I was rather proud/pleased with myself.
And I'm quite sure about every aspect of myself. Lying to someone else, to me, is like lying to myself-something I can't condone, nor would I bring myself to do. <3

I've only seen auras on a few occasions, on accident. One time, I was watching a play, and the two people on stage had colors around their heads, one was a deep blue and one a cheerful yellow. The colors followed them around as easily as a shadow, and they both had the same color hair, so I knew it wasn't an afterimage. Whenever I try to see them, I'm not sure if whether I'm seeing is an illusion or not.
I really can manipulate energy, but I'm not too good at it yet. Sometimes if I throw a psiball at an unsuspecting passerby, I can get a reaction.
I have no clue if I really do have a spirit guide or not.
I've never been able to astrally project, just lucid dream. I keep looking for confirmation that I've been out-of-body, but so far I've had no success.
I have been able to pick up on other people's thoughts, to the point where I could've never just guessed them. I need more practice though, since it usually happens at random.
