we were dissecting rats in biology (the jumbo ones, like 3 ft. long, without the tail).
well, my friend said she didn't like harming animals (even though it's already dead?) so she let me do the stuff. bad mistake. xD I got happy with the scalpel, and started cutting things, like the stomach, just to see what was in it. She fainted, and her face landed RIGHT IN THE ******** CAVITY! relatively we moved her so she didn't get brain damage from the preservatives.
was rather funny until she woke up (like a minute later) and we told her what happened. then she threw up.

Once, when I first found out I was pregnant, I told my husband and he passed out.
Never, I repeat, never tell the father of your child that fact while they`re holding a sharp object of some sort. Alan almost lost two fingers.

!? !? ___________________________
Once in Freshmen year some guy in my Health class fainted. :B And we have those retarded desks that are attached to the chairs and our desks were pretty close and all, so when he fell over, he tipped his desk over and almost slammed his head into the desk by his.
Apparently he passed out from lack of food. He skipped breakfast or whatever. :B
Hah...I never had issues with dissecting animals in science class... >__> In fact I was really excited to do that once I got into middle school... And was sad because I had to wait until 7th grade to do that stuff. :[

I always loved taking them apart to. I was quite upset when my scalpel wasn`t sharp enough for the fetal pig. >.>
I used my fingers.

I'm SO glad that I never had to dissect a fetal pig, only rats, and that in itself was gross.
Apparently some history class was watching a video on abortion and a kid fainted. The teacher laughed.

Not long ago, my little sister fainted in choir. So it was take your kids to work day for grade nines, so I was with my mom when we got a call from the elemetry school that she had fainted. So we went to the hospital and I didn't have to watch my mom serve food at my grandfather's restaurant like I've done a million times before.
And I got to visit my friend who I hadn't seen for a while cause she was in the hospital. So all was cool.

I'm going to be able to dissect a HUMAN! Once I get into an anatomy class.
Think of how freaky that's going to be!

Oh! If I could take your place (If you didn't want to be in that situation) I would do it in a heartbeat. Seriously. I have so many questions and curiosities about the human anatomy that, unfortunately, can't be answered by books I've read or anything else.
But, forgive me if I'm wrong since I don't know a lot about the world still, I'd think only people who are going to be doctors or people who are going to be in some sort of health related industry would be exposed to that.
Even if it is otherwise, it would only make me regret that I was never mentally able to go to school to experience this. So much knowledge out of my grasp. ;-;

Never really fainted myself, but have been insanely tempted to
Like this one time my friend told me this true story...
(lights are turned off, a flashlight is turned on under my face)
Some years ago, during the High School Entrance Exams (for uni, we call em HSCs), some girl was doing her English test, doing pretty well. During the last few minutes (like 1 minute left), she re read one of the questions and suddenly realized she had gotten one of the answers wrong!
This question was either worth a lot, or she really wanted a perfect score, so the next you know, after the exam, she puts to pencils into her nose and bangs her head onto the table.
(is dizzy)

My sister and I were at this boot camp summer thing, like a police acedemy and we were standing there for a long time and all of the sudden she falls to the cement parking lot. When it is some one you know it can cause a lot of panic I was crying because the officers wouldn't let me in to see her but all the other kids were trying to comfort me, everyone was so nice She is fine though it really freaked me out when they ran and got a breathing thing though

I passed out after giving blood in like the 11th grade. :/
Not while, just after. I stood up, was fine, went to go get my free OJ and next thing I know, I`m on a bench with a blood drive official and three coaches over me asking if I`m okay.

I taught myself how to faint. Though, It's really dangerous, so, I've only done it once. But I was out long enough to get out of a math test and sent to the nurses office.
