Iro meeped as she was suddenly pounced. She was so busy pretending to be upset about his advantage that she did not see what he was doing until it was too late. She landed flat on her back in the snowbank with Sephy on top of her, pinning her down.

Sephiroth smirked as he pinned her down into the snow "whos slow now?" he chuckled softly as his tail swished back and forth, he wasent holding her down very hard, in fact he was hardly holding her with is paws, just enough to keep her down, but if she wanted to get up she could

"I still say you have an unfair advantage." she pouted, though the smile tugging at the corners of her mouth ruined the effect. Suddenly she shifted her weight, rolling so that now she had him pinned, though very lightly.
"So there! Speed isn't everything." she smirked back.

Sephiroth chuckled before lifting his wing up to lightly flap it over her head, trying to cover her with snowflakes "Well my dear, than I guess you will just have to show me how you can keep up" he smirked deviously before lightly lifting her up off him and than he takes off into the woods, but not too fast "come on iro, lets see you catch me" he laughed softly as he yelled that back at her

She'd show him! Instead of dashing off after him, she waited until he was out of sight, and then climbed a nearby tree, hiding herself in it's branches. Eventually he would probably wonder why she wasn't chasing him, and come back here. Then she'd have him!

He ran for quite a while..but she hasent caught him yet...Sephy looked back and didn't even see her...where is she??..he wondered, he almost ran into a tree since he was runnin and watching behind and not where he was going..he stopped inches from the tree and turned around hoping nothing happened to iro he began to walk back to where he first started running

Iro waited patiently. She knew he'd be back, eventually, she could afford to wait.
The needles of the pine she had climbed hid even her bright coloration quite well, and even a one-winged Kylan was unlikely to look up for a normally land-bound one. She was completely still except for her ears, which twitched this way and that, searching for the sound of Sephy returning.
After a while, she head what she had been waiting for. Footsteps in the snow. She readied herself.

Sephiroth slowed his pace and looked around the forest..unknowingly slowing down right as he neared the tree Iro was hiding in. He was also looking back and forth..I swear this is where the snow fight started..he thought to himself as he looked over to where his cave was, it was only a few feet from where he was standing...but where could she be??

Iro grinned when he passed right under her tree, and lept down on him with a fierce (at least in her mind) war cry, being careful not to land too hard on him. "Yaaaaah! Brains over speed!"

Sephy let out an eep that sounded quite funny coming from a male kylan when all of a sudden somebody landed on his back, causing him to fall head first into a huge drift of snow..and what was that sound as it came on top of him?? It sounded like Iro screaming as she landed on his back, oh hes gonna get her for this..he chuckled to himself as he tried to lift himself up with her still on his back

Iro clung to the various straps and bits of fabric Sephy wore, using them to hold her in place so she would not fall off. "I caught you, Mr. I'm-so-fast! Told ya speed wasn't everything." She gloated a bit, a huge grin on her face. Her plan had worked!

Sephiroth chuckled as he layed back down in the snow realizing she was not gonna let go "alright, alright, you caught me, your pretty sneaky." He replied with a grin. Sephy extended out his wing and shook it out, hoping to put her off balance and make her fall off his back so he could stand up and look at her

Iro had forgotten about the wing. It unbalanced her enough that she slid sideways, and could either let go or risk breaking a leg... at least.
She let go, twisting as she fell to land more-or-less on her feet. Despite her ignoble dismounting, she looked smug. She had shown that brains could beat fleetness of foot... and wing.

Sephy chuckled as he felt her slide off, he moved his wing and tucked it back against his side as he turned to face her "Well my dear you sure did show how brains concour my speed" He smirked as he sat in the snow beside the tree she had jumped out of..he sure was getting used to this cold snow.

Iro sat next to Sephy, content in her small victory, and enjoying his presence. It wasn't just that she had been alone for so long, though she had. She specifically enjoyed being with him. The revelation did surprise her, though it was a telling one. She like being with Sephy, and hoped that he would not grow tired of her. Even if I have to jump out of trees to ensure it. She giggled to herself.
