Hey, I barely wear flannel, I mostly wear punk rock t-shirts, with some torn up jeans, and some old sneakers. Plus, a black beanie hat.

Much to the sadness of my mom:
My Converse are quite literally held together with safety pins. The soles are falling off in about five places. All my socks have holes in them. No exceptions.
I would wear the same pair of jeans for two weeks, but my mother makes me wash them at five days. She wants to wash them every day, but I tell her that's useless and a waste.
I frequently (and to the happiness of my male friends) wear a army green tank that has a hole right over my breast. I got it while I was jumping a fence. I closed it off with safety pins, but I still have to wear a second shirt at school.
My hair refuses to be kempt period... It's uber curly, and does whatever it wants.
My jeans also had a hole in them from jumping said fence, but my mother would not stand for that, and exchanged them.
I don't wear many band t-shirts but I have a shirt with punk rock quotes scribbled upon it. x3
Ooh and I have an awesome dog collar chain necklace with guitar picks hanging off it. Custom made.
Yeah. :3

What I wear is plain shirts I hate band logo shirts I mean I listen to the band but I dont want to walk around like a fan boy/girl just not my style I use to love band shirts before they became so popular
Pants I like anything withs chains and straps and zippers (hot topic brand stuff I guess)
I also love homemade clothes they rock

Lol, who said grunge had rules on wearing clothes? Maybe stereotypes but meh. I just wear my jeans 2 or 3 weeks at a time until they start to reek of hot sauce stains. Shirts... whatever I blindly reach for. I've got an impressive amount of flannel hand me downs and thrift store buys. But I've outgrown a few of em'. Gotta give them to charity but I can't find the orphanage around here.
Anyways, grunge I guess would be what's left on your floor. Something people frown upon for being gross or bumlike. Or something that stands out. People like Kim Gordon or Andrew Wood who wore flamboyant stuff.
