Amaroq's ears pinned back still further at Bella's call for help. Furious that she dare attempt to call attention to their struggle, he redoubled his efforts. Her strikes incited him, feeding his anger, stoking it to a roaring blaze. She was sturdy indeed, but he too was strong if more wiry, descended of desert stock as he was. When she snapped at his face he jerked his head back as she hoped, only to strike forward again with open jaws in an attempt to gain a hold on her neck, lunging forward to ram his shoulder into her as he did.

Bella jerked back as he lunged at her neck, but found the stallions weight thrown in her shoulder. The area they fought was damp with molding, dead leaves and mud and muck from the pond. Her leg buckeled some, and she fought to keep herself up right. With Amaroq atop of her so, she couldn't keep her stance. "STOP IT NOW! BE GONE, BEAST!" She continued her shrieks, and found only one place to go.
Without thinking, she whirled around and started off as fast a run she could. Though that meant throwing herself in to the icy pond, she hoped upon hope he wouldn't follow. But there was no where for her to go. Ice kept half of it covered, and she fought to push herself up. But the ice was too thin to hold a stallion as heavy as she. . . .
And the pond was deep.
She kicked and struggled, pushing herself as far in to the water, nostrils flaring. Her body ached, and the icy water stung against her wounds. Turning around, treading and shivering, she stared at the beast before her.
He wouldn't follow, would he. . . ?
At the same sense, she had no where to go. So she kept up her shrieks, hoping someone, anything might hear.

The only thing that could have made Amaroq's snarling grin more frightening as Bella threw herself into the pond and through the ice would have been sharp fangs, kalona's horns, or the other visible accoutrements of all that definitely boded ill for the mare. "Not too smart, are you?" he jeered cooly, before leaping in after her. He didn't come in nearly as deep, however, simply standing and waiting for her to tire from trying to keep afloat.

It wasn't hard to do. The poor mare seemed to have the entire world against her as she struggled to keep surfaced. The chill in the air, followed by the chill in the water bit beneath her hick and furry coat. Her thick mane and tail, as well as the extra fur around her hooves helped weigh her down and Bella realized her err. But she had been desperate - she couldn't have gotten around him any other way.
Minutes passed and her voice gave out shortly thereafter. Her cries for help turned muted as she shivered, golden eyes wild with fear. More than once she dipped under the water, having to fight to right herself. No. She couldn't stay in the frigid water much longer. Her bones and muscles were protesting, and her heaving chest couldn't take the fight any longer.
Swimming closer, slowly, ears still pinned, the mare found one final ounce of strength. Pushing herself through the water, she attempted to bowl bast him, jerking fast to the right as she struggled out of the much and water. But her coat was heavy, and like a set of chains they dragged her down. She knew when she was caught, she knew when she was beaten. . . .
But she'd continue to fight the monster even if it killed her!

Amaroq didn't waste any time getting out of the water in pursuit, but he did his best to make it look almost leisurely. "You were almost doing well, but then you had to go and make it easy for me," he said, mock-sadness dripping from his tone before he barreled towards her again, ramming into her side with his chest in an effort to knock her clean off of her feet and into submission.

The mare gave a valiant effort, but the sludge against her hooves, as well as her exhaustion from her panicked retreat was too much. She slipped and went down hard on her side, but without waiting she used her hind legs to kick at his stomach and legs in an attempt to throw him too. Squirming, attempting to keep him preoccupied with her legs, she did her best to try to throw her weight to one side and back on to her feet.
It didn't work, but just let Amaroq try to get close. Her hooves were still strong and hard, and her teeth were just as strong. She might be physically exhausted, but she refused to let him get near. Oh, certainly she wouldn't be able to keep him away for ever, but she could try!
Squirming, biting, bucking as best she could, Bella continued her cry. But it was in vain.
Oooooh - she refused to give the stallion the satisfaction of seeing her terrified. What was this one going to do? Nothing if she could help it!

Rearing back from her flailing legs, Amaroq made a leap around to her other side, lunging at her unprotected back and neck. The sight of the fresh scrapes, bruises, and blood felt like sweet salve to the poisoned wound in his heart, although in truth it was blackening it still further. Teeth snapping in an attempt to grab an immobilizing hold on the back of her neck, he struck out repeatedly at her back with his front hooves in an effort to add to her wounds, beat her into submission, and secure his revenge.

Kicking wildly, Bella attempted to squirm to the other side to begin kicking at him, but it wasn't easy. Though Amaroq wasn't huge for a stallion, he was swifter than she. She felt his teeth grab hold of the back of her neck, making it difficult to squirm all the way over. But Bella wasn't about to give up. She bucked and kicked to the best of her ability, trying to shimmy free of his grasp regardless of her her neck and skin screamed protest.
SHe felt his hooves strike her back, slicing in to her and pelting her with bruises and blood. It hurt. Even if he was more limber than she, that didn't mean he wasn't strong. Her back burned with each blow, and she felt the sting of tears in her eyes.
"Stop it!" She breathed, pleading with the best.
Her mind was still in shock.
In minutes she had gone from glorious to horrified, and every blow and beat proved it.
Still she struggled, knowing not the definition of submission. She wouldn't give in, no no no! She would fight! But it was difficult to maneuver with his teeth biting hard in her neck. Still, onward she flailed.
The scent of blood drifted heavily in the air, and Bella was hardly aware of the extent of her injuries. All she felt was pain, and fear, and wanted no more than to once again find her hooves and run!

By the gods she was a stubborn little b***h! Amaroq wasn't about to be deterred by it, but it was certainly a pain in the a**. If he let her get away now she would almost certainly spread the news, and that would mean no more strikes back at the gender that held the one who had betrayed him. And he wanted to keep striking...strike and strike, until she heard of him, and feared him. Until she feared what might happen should he come looking for her. With an annoyed grunt, he clamped his teeth down harder, until skin was pinched painfully between teeth and bone in a clear threat of what might happen if Bella didn't cease struggling. She would submit!

Bella squirmed some but the pain in her neck and the pressure was beginning to proove far too great. Gasping at the bite, and being unable to squirm round to properly face him, the bloodied and kicked up mare was fast being forced to settle. "Get off! Lemme go!" She pleaded, though her throat was scratched and sore. She would refuse to be silent, she would refuse to give in so easily. . .
But there was little she could do with him towering over her.
Twitching some, muscles bunched and aching, she finally settled in her thrashing. With him keeping her firmly down with his mouth and teeth, he couldn't exactly move much himself. So they were stuck, locked as each one waited for the other to move. At least that's how Bella felt. The moment his grasp weakened or his mouth moved ever so slightly off his neck, she would make a break for it. Adrenaline contiued to rush through her veins as she tensed, waiting for the right moment to thrash and move.
Her weight, added only by the water her coat had absorbed, would make rolling to her feet a bit more difficult than some. But she'd manage - Bella honestly had no other choice.
Her heart beat strong in her chest, as loud to her as thunder. Her breath came in gasps, her eyes wide with fear as she stared before her. She needed to get out of here and out of here fast. . . . But she wasn't nimble and she wasn't stronger than the black male.
Oh. . . why did the spirits hate her so? Why did they feel the need to punish her for actions? All she had wanted was water. . . .

Amaroq moved, all right...but only enough to secure his hold, lifting a hoof and placing it firmly on Bella's side. The threat implicit in this action was clear, but he released his jaws to move his muzzle near her ear anyways. "Do as I say, exactly as I say, or you will have more to worry about bruises...you've caused enough trouble for me today, don't you think?" He snatched at her ear, catching it in a painful grip to emphasize that he had her exactly where he wanted her.

Blasted today was not going well! History seemed to repeat itself, except this time it had tricked her in the form of one so NORMAL! Part of Bella could forgive Malice for transforming in to one so cruel. Kalona's were meant to be evil, to be fierce. The winged one had sought them out and ruined their afternoon, along with Meshach running his mouth. But today was quite unlike her earlier battle.
Today she had bumped in to a stranger that looked disgustingly normal. A thing legged stallion, dressed in black, one that had seemed fairly kind at first. A little hostile, but that had changed within but a moment. Bella couldn't blame him for snarling at first, as many didn't care of their privacy to be interrupted. Look at Azumoth.
But unlike Azu, this one had turned in to a rather abusive stallion. Despite her weight and the few tricks she'd learned, desperation had caused her to err and now she was at his command. But if she could get to her feet, if she could run, oh maybe just maybe there was hope yet. Nostrils flaring, the muddied and bruised, bloodied mare winced as he pressed upon her side. If he should push all his weight down she knew her rib cage couldn't hold up such weight. Even if he wasn't the largest of stallions he was strong. . . . And fast!
Gasping, she almost struggled to pull her ear away form his bite. It hurt! Damn. "All r-right, all right," she murmured softly, agreeing. That didn't mean she'd necessarily listen but it was a start. He might let her rise to her feet. . . . And if that were the case, she'd run. Even if it meant losing part of her ear in the process! "What - What do you want me to do?" She breathed, nostrils flaring.
