THe tentical snuck through several of Aiko's shields and he shook his head, pushing back on it, severing the tentical, but it left his shields weaker than he liked. Aiko poured some energy into them to keep them strong and than attacked Zeruel, throwing a few more psi balls out in front of him to distract his opponent.

Zeruel grinned as he felt the barriers fall to the tentacle, then recoiled as the attack was severed, making Zeruel lose focus of his surroundings, only to be brought back as he was hit with each of the attacks.
Zeruel let out a roar as he caught the final attack from the barrage and sent it back at Aiko with ten times the amount of energy in it. He then leapt backwards and jumped into a shadow he created, allowing him to move about the field instantly as well as put up four more shields, each with the ability to block two attacks.

Rev reatreated, the energy they gave off was making him sick.

THe energy hit Aiko hard and he stumbled back , trying to catch his breath as a couple more of his shield detiriated. Aiko decided to use his own magic since Zeruel was going beyond what he had taught. Aiko began to mutter an incantation under his breath, the area around him darkening considerably.

"Shadows will not aid you in this fight, little demon!" Zeruel yelled, appearing below Aiko in the darkness and uppercutting him as he jumped from the ground.

Aiko laughed softly from a few feet away, the shadow that had impersonated him floating apart as Zeruel hit it. "It seems you are wrong." he said quietly and launched several kicks at zeruel.

The physical barriers blocked all of the attacks, dissipating as the attacks finished.
"We shall see," Zeruel said softly, melting away as a blob of shadows engulfed him. Suddenly, Psi balls began flying around Aiko and the battlefield almost at random. Some big, some small, each flying and disappearing then reappearing elsewhere. Zeruel laughed, the laugh echoing as if he was in multiple places around the battlefield at the same time.
"How can your shadows help you when there are none?" Zeruel said, his voice coming from directly behind Aiko. Suddenly, all of the Psi Balls emmitted a brilliant white light, blinding everyone on the field.

THey burned Aiko's eyes and he gasped, covering his sensitive eyes. "Crap Zeruel." he said, his head starting to ache, he kept his eyes tightly closed and then sent out a wave of psi energy, trying to stop Zeruels attack.

Zeruel felt the wave coming, and blocked a section of it with a 'Steel' Shield. Zeruel had to leave the shadows due to the light, but was able to see without eyes and kneeled and erected the shield, blocking only the front of him and forcing the rest of the energy coming at him to go behind him.
Unable to judge the exact position of Aiko, Zeruel sent out small slash-like waves of energy in Aiko's general direction, mostly to find where he was, though if it hit Aiko, it would deal damage unless blocked.
"Can't stand the light, little demon?" Zeruel asked, raising his voice and becoming slightly demonic in appearance.

Aiko didnt think Zeruel would normally act like this in battle, especially with someone inexperianced. He didnt know what had set Zeruel off but this was turning bad. Aiko felt energy comeing at him and he quickly turned to it, erecting a shield to cover himself with barely enough time, still one of the waves slashed into Aiko's leg.

Zeruel felt the presence of Aiko as one of the slashes hit, and Zeruel ran at Aiko with a roar and attempting to tackle him to the ground.

Aiko pushed off the ground, leaping up into the air and aiming a spell down at Zeruel's general direction. Instantly the ground trembled and Aiko used the small trickle of blood to initiate the spell. A hole opened in the earth and it yawned open beneath Zeruel.

"Crap," Zeruel said, erasing all of the light constructs and turning them into darkness emmiters, covering the entire area now in darkness instead of light.
As Zeruel fell, he moved into the shadows and quickly identified where Aiko was and moved away from him so he could recover and erect more shields.

Ivy walked into the battle field feeling alittle lost. She was looking for the Pcyckanesys class but the sign on the door said to come here. She entered silently because she saw that there was a sparring session going on.

Draken had felt a massive energy outside the castle walls, and had decided to check it out. He appeared a fair distance away from the field, stepping out of his dimensional rift, only to find that it was covered in darkness. Darkness did not bother him, as he used to live in pure darkness, but it intrigued Draken on why it was here and not elsewhere in this world.
