He slowly turned his head to look at her, but his eyes fell , unable to meet her gaze, "I...The day when I came out of my coma... I...I visited the Brink. The devil was there. A succubus. She-demon. Kalie was shaking her head as she tried to cup his face. She wanted to see his eyes for the truth in them, the truth in the fizzled mess she wasn't clearly understanding. "You what? kissed her? I don't understand, what happened love?"

Kalie's arms dropped to her sides defeated and frozen in time. She could feel the lump forming in her throat as her eyes glossed over, her gaze still fixed on his face. She couldn't speak. It hurt, it felt like someone had just sucker punched her in the chest, and hard. She felt bad for pulling away from Tor but the touch she so dearly wanted to sooth the pain had ignited it.

His eyes fell away again, "There are no excuses...just please, don't hate me. I tried to tell you, but I couldn't. It'll never happen again, there are no words to express how sorry I am and how much it hurts to know what I've done. Just....please don't hate me."

"I don't hate you.. I couldn't if I wanted to." Slowly she spoke as her eyes were welling up, but she didn't want to cry. Kalie wouldn't be able to stop the few that slid down her cheek when she blinked but she wouldn't sob. "I need you."

He turned towards her slightly as he tried to bring his eyes to look into hers once more, his hands trailing up her body to cradle her head in his hands. His thumbs gently glided over her cheeks as his forehead came to rest against hers, "Not even the Princess of Darkness could steal me away from you. Even if she could hold a candle to you in bed." He smiled weakly, it wasn't a time to be joking, not that it wasn't true, however.

"Thanks."Kalie blushed, the faintest hint of a smile forming behind a tear streaked face. As she began to draw herself up she scooted closer to Tor, her right leg starting to fall atop his left as she halfway found herself in his lap. "Can we stay, for a little bit?"

The fear that Kalie was going to do something horrible to him for cheating on her with the Princess of Darkness, aka Kara, was fading. He tried to sweep away and remaining tears before his hands slid down her neck and around to her back and he nodded ever so slightly, "We can stay as long as you want."

Kalie nodded while rubbing at her rosy cheeks, brushing away any remnants of tears Torment had missed. Her brows furrowing slightly as she prodded at the subject a wee bit more, partially in jest. "She was the only one, right?"

Tor tensed up for a moment, "Only if you don't count that tourbus full of strippers and that yoga instructor. Oh, and that other one that I busted out of jail." He smirked as he chuckled slightly, "Since I've met you, luv, there's been only my Ice Queen and my run in with the Princess of Darkness." He nodded slightly and held her closer, hugging her, "She was, and will always be, the only one, and only once."

She quickly rolled her eyes and chuckled.
Squirming around a bit, Kalie managed to entwine herself further in Tor's grasp. Placing herself precisely where she wanted to be, surround by him. Smiling, she laid her head against his chest a look of pure contentment crossing her features then glanced up a bit. "What were you rambling about before, when you first woke up.. about our last name?"

While one arm kept her wrapped in an embrace and held her close, the other hand trailed up her body to cradle her head once more, stroking her hair from time to time. At her question Tor shook his head slightly, "It doesn't matter. Not unless you'd rather not have Nusradai tacked onto, or replacing your last name."
