Odd looked up and nodded his thanks. "Thanks very much," he said, stuffing the books into his bag and picking it up. On his way out he dropped a note on Rome's desk, and with a quick wave to his other classmates, left.The note Cheer up. At least you're not related. biggrin

Rome gave a straight face as he read the note and his tail dropped to the floor. He looked up and gave Odd a nod then threw the paper in the trash via paper ball.

((XD Lol... Btw, I think it's great how all the teachers are so different- some are so sweet, and will let everyone pass, and others are just nasty- and some are workmongers. XD It's a great balance.

And the reason for both of these answer is because of many of things. Yes because it was to save his wife and they where poor, that and the fact the druggist had been offered a half now half later deal. And no because stealing is so wrong and maybe the druggist could have been low on money him self and selling it to keep his place open for the good of people, even if nothing is cheep in there.

She took the paper Monkey had gave her and read it for a couple of minutes. After reading she nodded to Monkey and smiled back to him. She then got up and waved bye to everyone that was still here, then turned back to monkey to ask a question. "What time should I come tomorrow?"

Monkey set the other two notes on Milla and Lundy's desk and gave a sort of head nod before returning to his desk to sit on it and watch the class.
Rome, being bored off of his mind and done with his work got up and started drawing on the bored. He knew his dad wouldn't say anything to him. He wanted to go home but his dad was his ride unless he was going to go to Ducky's house, but he been trying to stay away from there lately, afraid of remembering more....

Over the next couple weeks the students learned about the different stages of SM history and over time they went through them. Now they were on the modern period and almost done with their lessons.
-Pre-historic: Communication was mostly down to grunts and odd sounds and there were tiny groups set up that were mostly family, very very little art was found during this period of time. This is where most species stay, but for SMs it was just the beginning.
-Genbiotion: SMs were starting to stay in one place and taught themselves how to live based on what was around them instead of moving "family groups", more basic art has been found from this time and SMs started to branch out and form their own languages.
-Hemochronodom: Literally meaning "blood time state" in Latin. During this time villages were becoming almost "nations" and there were many battles for land and power over the others. Several leaders were made and unmade, some of the bloodiest battles took place during this time with some of the most brilliant yet illiterate commanders. Art was found in the form of some diaries with dead languages and battle scenes drawn out like football plays. Some universal words started to form as well as general ideas of a set way to run things. A SM by the name of Bartholomew Xtopherus took over and won a huge part of the SM island where another leader won a small corner of the island mostly for outcasts and exiles of the main Kingdom called the Kingdom of Nin. 5th stages were discovered in this time but feared and thought of as a disease or a disfunction.
-Dicentajur: Two hundred years period consisting mostly of peace, minus small disputes between kingdoms. Much philosophy was established as well as a universal language and alphabet along with a barter system which over time turned to a coin system and system of law and order. Great philosophers were: Leo Dragon, Java Star, Rock Black and Popel Dom. 5th stagers were more now considered as Gods but most criticized it and throught it was a mutation.
-Interdom: In this time period the great Bartholomew Xtopherus was assassinated by a group of refugees from the smaller kingdom which called itself simply "Free". They then took over and started to set up their own way of life and doing things. Here however 5th stage was fully understood and highly sought.
- Modern: Kingdoms were united and all walls were knocked down. SM's started to speak how they do now, art majorly branched off as did literature and studies. Education was the key to success in this world and people were governed by their conscience but there was a small order keeping group which stuck to rules drawn up in the Dicentajur period. This is when the first SM's were discovered and brought to Gaia and domesticated.
-Origins: [yet to be written]
"Alright ladies and gents. Here it is. You've studied and should have taken notes. Now you get your first serious major assignment. Pick a SM from history and write a report on him or her from their perspective. The report should include what this person did while they were alive, what was unique about them, what did they contribute and what would they think of what happened in the generation after their death. Turn this in as soon as you complete it but no later then 2 weeks." Monkey wrote the information on the project on the board, expecting his students to write it down.

((You guys can make up who this person is, male or female what they did etc. It doesn't have to be long at all, I know we're all in school but come on gimme a break I just thought all of that up and planned it out. But you can use a person that has been mentioned or make up your own.))

Report Tyler Hemulchrus: By Odd LockheartTyler Hemulchrus was an SM born in the Hemochronodom period in the midst of wars and bloodshed. While many SMs sought to join in the fight and battle for leadership or to serve the ones they saw fit to lead, Tyler took a decidedly different route. When he was in his mid-teens, Tyler ran away from his home, a home that was ravaged by constant battle. The warmongering of his friends and kinsmen had forced him into solitude. He explored, being one of the first to find the border of Gaia, but not daring to cross it – only marking his path so that he might come back later, perhaps when the bloodshed had ceased. He also discovered Aekea, which was then not a part of Gaia, but a field surrounded by forest, as he described in his journal, accompanied by a rather well-drawn picture. But the discovery Tyler was known best for was his discovery of the coveted “fifth stage.” His account of the situation (found in his journal) claims that Tyler was exploring somewhere outside of his homeland (we’re not quite sure – sources aren’t exact as to his location) when he came across an amulet lying in a hole in a tree. It was high up, so he had to climb to get it, and he described the amulet as “always seeming to move – I’d get one foot closer to it, it’d move one foot away.” Whether this is true or not, we do know that Tyler got the amulet, and put it on. Apparently the amulet somehow altered Tyler’s DNA structure, allowing him to become half-human. Amazed at this discovery and delighted at his knew fingers and thumb (making it much easier to write), he traveled home to show his parents. Upon arrival, his journal accounts that he found his father dead and his mother and friends ashamed of what he had become. They called him “half-breed” and “mutant” and banished him from the village. Not before he could take a few SMs with him, though – Tyler had captured the interest of some of the village SMs, who left their lives and everything to follow Tyler, and perhaps gain the fifth stage. They were amazed when the few personal items the other SMs brought along turned into instruments with which to make themselves fifth after touching the amulet. Delighted with their discovery, they made thousands upon thousands of these fifther objects, scattering them whichever way they went. That is why today one can often find a fifther object just by looking hard enough – Tyler described that they usually “made a humming noise,” or, “had a certain glow.” These should be clues enough for any of you out there who want to go fifther. Ultimately discovering one of the most sought after stages in SM history, Tyler unwittingly made a giant impact on SM history and left behind hundreds of artifacts to continue the tradition of fifthers. Some say that the amulet lies in his grave, but since the journal was found with his body and no amulet was found with it, no one quite knows.

Monkey read through Odd's report with a fine tooth comb. He couldn't find any misspellings or any misinformation. He went through the grading scale which he had drawn up after he wrote up the assignment on the board. Looking up at Odd he gave a confident smile, glad that the information he was trying to get through to his pupils was actually managing it's way to squeeze through their skulls and stick. Then he looked back down and wrote some comments on the paper and put it on the top of a small stack of papers. He figured he'd hand the reports back when all had been turned in.
Brice had woken up from her nap when Odd had gotten up to turn in his report. But then it was a little more difficult for her to sleep with Monkey was listening to music on his headphones off of his laptop. She rolled her eyes and looked up to see Rome falling asleep at his desk. She put her paws over her mouth to very unsuccessfully muffle a giggle. From resting in Monkey's lap the mostly brown SM jumped off but was caught in midflight by her father's hand. She looked up to protest and wrapped her tail around herself. "Bu..Daddy... Pweeeease?"
Monkey put his finger to his lips and shook his head to keep her quiet and inplace. "Stay here. It's almost time to go."

My report My report is about a male Sm name Uhg, who lived in the pre-historic age. Not much is known about this Sm in history, but what they know now is enough to write about. What I know about him now is that he and four other Sm's lived in a small cave in the middle of a odd hill. Only the scientists can go in that cave to research it more, but they took what they could from the cave and added it to a museum. But on the walls there where four pictures of Sm's with their names under it, it took the scientists five days to be able to read it for the investigation. They suspect that he was a father Sm, because they found the bones from when they had passed away. They could tell that their was his bones, a adult females, and two young females there. But what is unconfirmed to them is who was the first ever Sm.
Here is my report sir, sorry for it being short, and any thing being miss-spelt.
