“No, no cops will be called. And as to what game I’m playing, I just wanna give you a second chance in life.” Ben said observing Yori. ”But in order for me to do that, I have to know if you deserve it.“ He said with a caring voice.

Yori looked at the man. Is this guy serious? He thought. But the most surprising part about this is the Yori was actually thinking about telling him his past. “I just fell on some hard times when I was younger, and I never got up from them” This was true, but he neglected to tell him of his infamous career as a hit man. And the two other daggers on him just in case. “how can you give me a second chance in life?” He asked not believing any of it.

I can create genuine official documents from any government, organization, or company. I can create you a new past, new opportunities, a new life. What say you?” Ben now had a smile on the side of his mouth.

This sounded too good to be true, and Yori was not about to trust a man he just met with his ‘new life. ”What’s in this for you? Don’t tell me you’re just doing this out of sympathy.”

Ben walked over to his computer and turned it on. “ Of course there is a small monthly fee, but with a job like yours I’m sure you will be able to afford it. Since this it your first ‘new life’ It’s gonna cost you 300 for the first two months and then it moves up to 400; there it would remain. Unless for some reason you mess up and need another ‘new life’. Also, you would have to work at a job I have given you. How does a detective sound?” He asked not waiting for a response as he types a few thing down. “Of course you would also have to report to me monthly, giving me updates on what ever might interests me.”

I guess that’s fair. Yori thought as he listened to Ben. “Detective? No one’s going to believe that.” He said, realizing that the man wasn’t listening. “When would I start my ‘new life’? He asked.

You’re now known as Yori Crown. You graduated bottom of your class and you transferred over from the Sky City Police Department. You failed the detective test two times in a row. And your girl friend, who you were living with, left you for a bounty hunter named Blades. Both parents died when you were young and I’m and old family friends. Me and your mother had a thing, but you don’t know that.” Ben was having fun creating Yori's fake past. “Here are all your papers you’ll need. And you start tomorrow.” He said handing Yori a small stack of official documents.

Yori was blown away by how fast Ben was working. He couldn‘t help but feel a little offended about how dumb Ben was making him. ”T- tomorrow?” He hesitated “That’s soon.” Yori looked at Ben sitting at the computer. “ Did you do this for yourself? Are you really Ben Toro?”

“You’ll sleep here tonight. Tomorrow, I’m buying the room down the hall for you, witch you’ll pay me back for of course.” He said smiling; ignoring the question Yori asked. “ Try not to steal from me again.” He said handing him back the dagger and went to bed.

Yori awoke to an annoying beeping sound. "What th-" He looked at the watch on his hand, a watch that he had never seen before. Yori realized what has going on. He quickly got up and headed to where Ben was.

((~time skip~)) Ben was working on his computer; opening few files was wasn't in any human language. He face looked serious; witch was strange for him. He was completely concentrated on the strange writings.

Skyler got to his apartment and went to his office, booting up the computer. He pulled up a decrypted file and put in the algirythm key to make the file viewable. The bureau didn't know, Sykn didn't know, but he would give her credit for helping him, he's IA (internal affairs). A sketch of what witnesses said to believe was "The Crow" appeared on his screen, along with some of the crooked cops from the bureau. The case didn't go cold, someone tampered with and destroyed some of the evidence. They forced the case open again to see if the cop(s) would do the same thing, and he had hidden cameras set up to back him up.

Ben heard foot steps in the hall that didn't go to Yori's room. He looked away from his computer for a second, but quickly returned; He'll investigate it later.
