Sanaa humphed as she sat back, this new thought posing rather a problem. Obviously, she did not have the dexterity of the goddess, and could carry things in her mouth. She couldn't care the things she found one by one...
Sanaa's face cleared as she smiled, seizing on a task that suited her well. She could make her a carrying pouch! Yes, she had some scraps of animal hide left over and it would be but a simple thing to stich them into something the cheetah could sling over her back or hang around her neck.
"Well, I shall give you something, of course! Much like my own pouch, so you may put these items inside, and when its full, bring it to me to show me what you have found. If I like what you bring, I will reward you with your choice of items or shinies. And if I'm particularly pleased, I shall even make you something on the spot, of your choice." She beamed, pleased with her tidy solution to the problem. She did so love it when things clicked like that. "Now, come along and I shall give you your carrying sack, and show you how to get to my home where you shall deliver your items."
Reaching, she grabbed up the two bundles of wood, using a rope from her pouch to bind the two together and throw the lot over onto her back, her great golden wings craddling the bundle between them so it wouldn't fall. That was one nice thing about having wings... an extra limb for limited use, should you need it.

Etana's eyes went to the carrying pouch around Sanaa's next, and she nodded in agreement. It was finely crafted and sturdy; Etana could see great wisdom in this idea. Craftiness and intelligence were the traits Etana most admired, aside from power. Sanaa was only growing bigger and better in Etana's regard. She had power, beauty, and could problem solve.
This was just the kind of being that Etana wanted to be on good terms with.
It was obvious that Sanaa was, and would always be, on an entirely higher level than the cheetah; but Etana didn't mind it in this case. The possible rewards were so much higher than the small bit of pride she had to sacrifice.
And so, like an obedient and willing child, Etana followed the goddess faithfully towards their destination, ready and eager to serve.
