Jerome knew what Beauxbatons Academy of Magic looked like, he'd seen it a million times in books. Being here though, was a very different story. It was a very beautiful day. He was walking through the halls when he noticed that a girl, who seemed to be his age, had dropped some books.
"Can I help you with that?" he asked already stooping down, unsure of himself.

Antron3001 Jerome knew what Beauxbatons Academy of Magic looked like, he'd seen it a million times in books. Being here though, was a very different story. It was a very beautiful day. He was walking through the halls when he noticed that a girl, who seemed to be his age, had dropped some books.
"Can I help you with that?" he asked already stooping down, unsure of himself. Emilia jumped, startled at the voice. She looked up seeing a boy about her age. "Please." she stated, picking up her transfiguration book, and brushing a silver strand of hair behind her ear.

He reached for a dark red book and looked at it. Magical lands of the East was its title.
"I've read this one, its a fascinating book. It as some very interesting things on Tibet. I'm Jerome by the way." he said, handing her the book.

"Yeah it's pretty cool. I'm Emilia." Emilia said smiling, shaking Jerome's hand. She stood up and brushed herself off.

"Is this your first year here?" he asked standing up.
She was a pretty girl. Long flowing blond hair, and blue-gray eyes. He looked into them, hoping for maybe, a new friend. Jerome's mind was working hard, thinking about how to make new friends. Was he doing it right? He thought so. Or possibly, he hoped so.

"Yeah. I didn't really want to come, but my parents thought I was too weird for them. What about your parents?" Emilia said, brushing back her hair, becoming fed up with it, and swooped it back into a ponytail.

"Yeah, my dad was ecstatic that i was accepted, even though he 'knew' I would be." he said. "Why do they think that you are weird? Are you muggle born or something?" This is going good he thought to himself.

"Yeah. Weird things started happening around me, my parents couldn't explain. They left me home for hours, sometimes days at a time. Just to myself, they were fed up with the things. One time, my mom started rising, and talking like a chipmunk. Turns out, I had accidently filled her with helium! Dad was so weirded out, as soon as the letter came, I was shipped off here. They won't even have me for the summer, I'm staying with Aunt Helen." Emilia said, flipping through one of her books.

Belle looked down at her blank piece of parchment, frowning and tapping the point of her quill on the table, leaving tiny spots of ink. She couldn't think right, probably because of the first years who were making noise in the room. Casting them an annoyed look, she stood up and picked up her books, moving into a more quiet corner away from the noise. Setting her parchment down on the table, she picked up her quill again, staring at the blank surface for a moment, she sighed and rolled up her parchment, she just couldn't get an idea. The first years were starting to seriously annoy her and she stood up, picking up her two books, her quill, and her roll of parchment and stowing them away inside her bag. Belle walked out of the room quickly, glancing around, she started down a corridor, where she saw a boy and a girl, "excuse me," she said quietly, slipping past them and turning the corner.
