This isn't my list so don't attack me about it please? gonk

Discuss if you agree or disagree with it.

I would say. No way, Mario 64 is just a classic. Plus these are on crack. Halo 2 better Halo? Wtf? Hello they story sucked in Halo 2.

Plus I think MGS2 should be on the list but higher.

Come on now..GTA: SA was cool. GTA 3 should be on the list and HL 2?!

Wtf, this list suck a**.

This is my list.

10. FF VII- Yea I know but I'm tired of it.
9. KH II- Easy game, lame plot, reaction times.
8. Super Mario Bros. 3.- Didn't like it, no idea wtf the suits did most of the time, too long.
7. OoT- Umm yea, nice Zelda but seriously enough.
6. Killzone- Halo Killer?! Yea right.
5. DS- I prefer my GBA SP.
4. Sonic Adventure 2- Chao is awesome, but some of the gameplay kind of sucked.
3. Halo 2-..Yea nuff said.
2. Resident Evil 1, 2, 3- I thought it was Survival Horror, not Survive the dreadful camera.
1. MGS 2- I'm going to state it again. I want to play as Soild Snake not Raiden. SNAKE god damn you.
o:<
I bought that game twic. One hd the better controller and VMU fun. The other had better multiplayer and chao raising.
I've found all but three emblems, and raised chaos for years.
TOTALLY WORTH IT.

I'm just going to say it here. Tails and Rouge stages sucked a** to the point I kind of gave up collecting all the emblems. Chao is hella fun but god damn it give me a break. Rogue and Tails stages are the most boring aspects of the whole entire game.
You don't have to play Tails and Rouge stages. After you've gone through the story once, you can do whatever you want to. Besides, I found every stage to be enjoyable. I didn't like some at first, but after I became more adept, I really have no complaints.

I still have complaints after playing so many damn times. Sometimes the camera gets in the way, the fact that hard mode on some stages are ******** hard. Also the fact that the way Sonic and Shadow run is sometimes slooow. Faster than Sonic Next-Gen however, but the game isn't perfect. I find Sonic Adventure better than Sonic Adventure 2 though.

Oh my goodness, really? That's amazing. Who could have guessed that?
Yes, Sonic and Shadow are slower than in SA, but the gameplay feel much more fleshed out to me.

No I mean impossible to the point you will give up. They are passable I've done most of them but they are hard. They take skill. xD

Whoever made that list needs to SHUT UP. DOOM 3, DUKE NUKEM 3-D, HALF-LIFE 2, JADE EMPIRE, AND METAL GEAR SOLID ARE SO NOT OVER-RATED! He's probably just mad because his favorite games are over-rated. Here's my revised list of over-rated games:

5. The Halo series (Halo is not nearly as good as the fans make it seem)
4. Resident Evil 4 (sure it was good, but a legend worthy of being on the "best games of all time" list? NOT A CHANCE. Plus, combat was pretty sluggish)
3. The Legend of Zelda series (again, not nearly as good as fans make it seem to be)
2. The Mario series (dude, come on. It's not legendary, it just resurrected the gaming industry back in the 80's. The only genre it influenced is 3-D platformers with Super Mario 64, and 3-D platformers are a dying genre)
1. The Final Fantasy Series (you guys know why. The hentai art proves it. Redundant and slow-paced combat are what makes this series not as fun as people make it out to be......)

I would bet so much that he probably didn't put Final Fantasy on there because he's an FF fanboy himself.

Beramode
It appears that the writer's view of "overrated" is a bit skewed. A game can be overrated and still be good; doesn't necessarily mean that it's just crap. Most of what that writer is doing is calling random games crap for kicks. Only one I'd agree with (as overrated) is GTA.

Well, GTA isn't exactly over-rated, it's just received a bad reputation from the media. People act as if 11 year olds are rushing out to GameStop to buy a copy of GTA: San Andreas. Then, they act as if the people who play the game are going to become killers later on in life. Having a bad reputation can be associated with over-rating, but in this case, it's not. Also, his view on Doom 3 is a bit narrowed, as there's much more to it than just blasting monsters. He was obviously forgetting the somewhat team-based aspect of multiplayer. Also, he's forgetting that the game was a technological marvel at its time, and it focused a lot on atmosphere and story this time around, which it did very well. And he probably just isn't much of a shooter fan, as the majority of the games on that list were shooters; so bias might have something to do with the list.

I didn't give up. *angelic chorus*
The last three emblems I mentioned before? Chao Karate.I do remember trouble the first time around, but I've got A on everything, even the Green Hill remake on the Dreamcast. (now, getting above C there is impossible)
My sister and I play 2p very fiercely, we're completely desensitized. @_@
@ Zombicide I know what you mean. After playing Fire Emblem, FF seems incredibly shallow right now.

That site is bullshit and any Metal Gear Fan that hates MGS2 isn't actually a fan.

The whole point of the game was that you were playing an illusion. There is more to the world than just Snake. Raiden was an actor trapped in the play written by the Patriots. To enjoy the game you had to identify Raiden as Raiden and Snake as Snake, and thusly separate the two as humans.

It wasn't a bait and switch. It was a story. You don't say a book bait and switched you when the main character dies and is replaced by the factual main character. Or a movie where the actors changed.

Aside from Olga, and Liquid being in there every so often, there was no point in having Snake around except to guide Raiden. It wasn't Snake's story. It was like having Amuro and Char playing Kamille's mentors in Zeta Gundam. Or Hikaru suddenly Skull Squadron commander after Roy Folker dies.

You're a bit harsh there...
PostPosted: Mon Dec 10, 2007 2:09 pm

You think that's harsh? Well, I stand by my opinion there. Come on, people. Resident Evil 4 is grossly over-rated. A game with overly sluggish combat worthy of being the "best game of all time"? Dude, Leon moves like a friggin' paralyzed robot! I wish he could move nearly as fast as he does in the cutscenes! Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, just not deserving of the comments everyone gives it. And Mario? Cry me a river all you want. You know it's not nearly as good as it's made out to be. I felt ripped off when I played the original Super Mario Bros. because it just wasn't nearly what IGN and other websites said it was. And Halo? I think you guys know what I'm saying about that one. Same for Final Fantasy. Now, as for Zelda, OoT may have been good, just not a classic. And Twilight Princess? Good overall as well, just too easy (difficulty wise). As for OoT, it just wasn't the classic it's made out to be. What is so good about it?

Almost the same thing as saying Anyone who is an Final Fantasy fan and hates Final Fantasy 7 is not really a fan.
