Believe it or not, it's better for the environment to get a real tree. There's a whole bunch of reasons. ... uh, yeah.
I still don't like chopping down trees, though. sad

Cutting the trees down let's oxygen into the air. It's more natural to make, obviously, and for every tree you cut down, three more are planted, so they say.
You need to buy locally grown trees, too, because transporting other trees causes a lot of pollution.
Plastic trees can be reused, but eventually, on day, they will end up in a land fill.
I just say, to heck with the trees. Just plant one in your yard or something and decorate that one.
... or just not have a tree. Look at Hanukkah, they celebrate just fine without killing a tree or making an environmentally unfriendly one.
... seriously.

[ ] Yeah, but Hannukah songs are more fun to play. I have a stupid holiday concert tomorrow and the Christmas songs get a bit repetitive (6 freaken Christmas songs this year). Maybe that comes from hearing them all these years and only hearing Hannukah songs on occasion. [ ]

Realitys Marionette Oh yeah, we kick Hannukah in the a**. 8 days of Hannukah, b***h twelve days of Christmas!!!! Actually, there is only one day for Christmas, unless I'm wrong, I never really understood that song. rolleyes I say one in choir in elementary school, but I can't remember it. It was actually pretty good, but really, who celebrates Kwanzaa anymore? ... I guess you could count the Christmahanukwanzaakah song ...

[ ] I don't even know anyone who celebrates Kwanzaa. Then again, I live in a very white town where most celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, or nothing at all. [ ]

One day, the Jehovah's Witness kid was asking all the black people if they celebrate Kwanzaa to prove that no one really does. Only one girl said she celebrates it every other year.

Kwanzaa is a made up holiday. No black kid I know even celebrates the damn thing. ANd a few of these kids I know were born in Africa. Kwanzaa is shameful to them is what they tell me, except my black friend Lexia, don't care to ask her...

[ ] I forget what the orgin of Kwanzaa is. We learned about the three "major winter holidays" in my ECPE 101 class, but that one's slipping my mind. [ ]
