Chapter Two [[ Gerard's POV ]]The interview had taken over my thoughts now. We all knew they where only taking interest because of Teenagers being such a hit. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy it worked out as well as it did, but that's not the point. They don't ask about the meaning to any of our work. I'm here to get my point across, not be drooled over by obsessed kids, and MTV does exactly the opposite of what I wanted out of this.
"Gee, your coffee's done!"
"I'll be there in a bit Mikey..."
I really just had to sit down and think it through. Last time they interviewed us it was all over the news paper as usual. I'd told them about a certain love interest, who dumped me over it because of the sudden media coverage she was having. It was pretty awful, and it didn't stop there. They then went on to say I was just lying for the attention. Eventually it died down, but it took a while. So you could probably understand the strain I was under now I'd found out about another interview.
I sighed deeply once more, before banging my fist against the side of the bus once again, slightly softer this time. I needed to just get ready now, and try not to say anything that would cause me any more trouble... I knew full well that was impossible, but I still had to try my best. Maybe if I just kept my mouth shut and smiled..?
"Gee it's gonna get cold!"
"Alright! I'm just getting dressed! Keep it to the side for me will ya?"
"Okay!"
I turned round to the drawers by the side of my bunk and began to route through my cloths, picking out a black shirt and jeans, and fresh underwear, throwing them on quickly before tossing the cloths from the night before in the bin bag hanging from the top bunk. Mikey and I were just putting the old cloths in there for now, and when we ran out we'd wash them of coarse. It was easier than just leaving them on the floor, and it meant we could just throw them in together. Simple. All I had to worry about now was my appearance.[[ Mikey's POV ]]I'd left Gerard's coffee on the side like he'd ask, and now I was just sitting with Ray, waiting for the others to wake up. I was sitting there nervously, and I guess Ray could tell, which was when I blurted it out. He just put his arm over my shoulder and looked straight into my eyes. He did this all the time, he knew how to make me talk. He was kind of like the older brother Gerard and Me needed. He always gave us advice, and he would keep it to himself, what I told Ray, stayed with Ray. The only way the other's usually found out was if Gerard told them. Which was beginning to get more and more of a rare occurrence.
"I worried about Gerard..."
Ray simply nodded and smiled, and turned be to face him on the sofa.
"Tell me what's been up, and I'll help the best I can. You know I always will."
"Yeah I know... Well basically..."
With that the door opened from our room, and Gerard came out, his hair ruffled to an extreme, and his stance slightly more hunched than usual. He looked awful, and even his smile said something was up.
"Gerard you look..."
"Brilliant!" I finished, stopping Ray from saying anything more. This interview meant a lot to Gerard, or so he'd told me. It was something about his reputation, but to be honest I really hadn't listened to him at the time.
"You want to just borrow my brush Gerard?" Ray added afterward, bringing one off the side of the sofa and going to throw it towards him.
Gerard nodded and put his hands out ready to catch the brush, and as he caught it, he simply walked back into the room and slammed the door. He was in bad shape. He probably shouldn't be going at all. Hopefully Frank would take the attention away from him this time.[[ Gerard's POV ]]I'd just started on my hair, but I knew that wasn't going to be enough. Ray's face said everything. He was worried, probably because Mikey had told him about me. I guess that didn't matter so much, as long as it stayed in the band. If it got out again I swear I'd have a nervous breakdown... The pressure was on.Comments Please!

Chapter 3
[[ Gerard's POV ]]
I was nearly ready to go now, and from the shuffling noise I could hear outside, I could tell that Frank and Bob had finally arisen from their rooms, which meant I was the last out, as usual. But this time, I was really considering just locking the door, and staying put... I wasn't sure I could face it again. Thing is, if I didn't that would just make the situation worse. They'd probably come to the bus and try and looked through the crack in my curtains or something, they really where that desperate.
I sighed and brushed through my hair once more, checking I looked slightly more presentable in the mirror by my bed. To be honest, the hair made me look worse. At least when it was a mess it looked deliberate, mainly because it matched the rest of me. It would have to do for now, else we'd never set off, which would agitate the boys even more. This was the first time we'd actually been able to go to an interview all together for a while too. I'd have to just pull up the courage and get on with it. It wouldn't be that bad... I hope so anyway..."
"Gerard! You comin' or not?"
"Hang on Frank! Quit rushing me!"
"I wasn't...!"
"I don't care!"
"Fine! Just hurry up, we need to get going!"
I took a deep breath and pushed my shoulders back, looking into the mirror trying to check I didn't look like to much of a wreck, which was pretty impossible. I needed to get my coffee and just take it with me, at least then I'd feel more awake.
[[ Ray's POV ]]
Mikey had told me everything whilst Gerard was getting sorted out, and to be honest I'd said the same at first. Cocoa always seems to be the thing that wrecks your sleep, but when he told be it had been going on for longer than just now, I started to worry. I'd heard about how the alcohol could cause things like this to happen after a while, and to be honest, Gerard was rarely sober... He didn't seem like that kind of person when you met him, but we all knew that he was. I was hoping it wasn't some kind of side effect... or something serious. Gerard was too stubborn to admit he was sick on tour... He cared to much about his fans...
Soon enough Frank and Bob had emerged from the bedroom, laughing and punching each other playfully. It was always the same with these two, since the last tour they had really clicked. Sometimes I wondered if they where joined at the hip. Anyway, they didn't know about the whole ordeal with Gerard yet, and unless he told them, they would never find out. It's not we didn't trust them, because we did, no doubt about it. It was just the way it worked out I guess.
After a few minutes Gerard had re-emerged from the bedroom, looking a hell of a lot better than before. Mikey smiled slightly, and looked over to me with a slightly relieved expression on his face. I could tell Gerard was still a bit under, but if he was coming then their was no way of stopping him. He walked straight in a grabbed his coffee and took a swig, walking, with his eyes on the door, ready to just go. I nodded to Mikey and watched as he went after his brother, and the looked over to Frank and Bob shaking my head slightly.
"Don't ask..."
[[ Gerard's POV ]]
If we didn't go right now, I knew I would almost certainly just turn back and lock myself in the bedroom. I just needed to go in, and go back out, then I'd be sorted. The quicker this was the better...

Also - I thought it would be easier to post now as I won't be able to tomorrow - I have a shed load of work... due in thursday - so Wednesday night will be updatless crying
