Kirsa looked at Vana with teary eyes and took his tail to dry them. "I'm....ok....my....head just....hurts...a little..." she said in between sniffles. "Maybe if I...just sit down....for a little while...I'll be better." She tried to smile at him and stop her crying. Her brother always told her she was a cry baby, and usually she didn't care, but she didn't want Vana to think she was a sissy.

"Okie," he replied, too anxious about her being hurt to care if he thought she was being a sissy or not. He sat down next to her and shook his tail until it was semi-dry again before tucking it around his paws.

"Thank you Vana, I feel better now," she said as she got up and dusted herself off. She looked at his tail and giggled a little. "I'm sowwie I got your tail all wet...You sure are nice Vana!" she said as she gave him a big grin and nudged him with her nose.

He shrugged and ducked his head, flicking her with his damp tail. "I'm nice...?" he sat up and grinned, "You're nice too!"

Kirsa beamed. "Really?" She nuzzled up against him and then batted her eyelashes cutely, blushing slightly. "I like you Vana..."

His face started turning red and he accidentally flicked the damp from his tail onto his nose. "I like you too, Kirsa," he replied, feeling his ears start to heat.

She giggled and wiped the wetness off his nose with her paw. She nuzzled up against him and pawed at his reddening ears. "You're so cute!"

Vana stuttered a little and tried to think of something to reply, "Well, you're-you're-you're cuter!" He turned even redder and hid his face in his paws while waiting for Kirsa to start laughing.

Kirsa blushed a little, "Aww, you're so sweet Vana!" She pushed her nose up against his, but quickly pulled her head away, blushing profusely now. She giggled and tried to cover her face with her paws.

Vana peeked out at her giggle, his face fading to a dark shade of pink. "R-really?" he asked, crawling a little closer to her while trying to keep his head down by his paws.

Kirsa watched Vana crawl closer to her. Then suddenly, something came over her and she kissed Vana on the cheek. It wasn't much different than licking him on the cheek, but that had always just been for fun. This was different for Kirsa, and she blushed a little, not that anyone would be able to tell, since she was already red anyway. She looked at him and smiled.

Vana stopped midcrawl, stunned by the kiss. He sat up and kissed her back on the cheek and crouched down again, grinning sheepishly.

Kirsa grinned and snuggled up against him. She pawed at his ear playfully and then nibbled it softly. "Hehe, you're it now!" she laughed and pranced away, waving her tail happily behind her.

Vana snuggled with her then hopped to his feet, "I wont be it for long!" Chasing after her, he smiled brightly, his paws feeling lighter than air as he sprinted to catch up to her.

"You have to catch me first!" she called back. Her excitement filled her and she ran faster than ever. She ran a little ways and stopped next to a stream. She hesitated for a moment, but then splashed through the water to the other side. She stopped and watched Vana running towards her, somehow thinking that maybe she was safe on the other side of the small stream.
