Shayd3 halo_master The only thing in Rock Band that COULD be hard is the singing, but just because some people literally don't have the ability to control their voice well. (It's genetic.)
The guitar and drums are damn easy though, and I've never even touched real drums.
The guitar is waaaaay easier than Guitar Hero, but I still can only do meduim.. the orange button doesn't like me.. haha. But the drums are really hard, I think it's the foot pedal that messes me up though. I only could beat them on easy so far.. singing was easy though, but I sang for ten years lol. I beat hard and can do most on expert but I'm stuck on a few. Honestly all you need is pitch though.. if you can keep the right pitch it's not hard at all, you can change the octave.
on the drums the same thing happens to me lol to reach the orange note i suggest u just switch positions really fast wut i mean if first four to last four thats how i do it the only song that i cant beat on the single tour mode is gimme shelter without beating that i song i cant go on i keep on gettin confused

Yeah, I tried that a couple of times and when I go to switch over I get destroyed haha. I guess it just takes practice to get used too.

Drums are great cuz it's really fun to play, and I love kickin noob a** online domokun Vocals are great cuz its really fun to sing along to the great songs offered on Rock Band, and I love karaoke whee But I'm not that keen on the guitar merely because it's just way too easy, which is why guitar hero holds a dear place in my heart... heart heart (plus the rock band guitar sucks)

ninja Ok, So I bought ROCKBAND and as I sit there and play and all I can think of is HOW MUCH THIS GAME ROCKS!!!, but some people are saying that "Rockband" is easier that "Guitarheros".... and ya I would need to agree that ya it's alot easier. There is almost no three key notes and that is what made Guitar Heros So challenging! ninja

My opinion on the games People obviously don't pay attention to bare essentials. stare
I wouldn't know anything about a difficulty curve from Guitar Hero to Rock Band , because I think they're both ******** easy. Personally, I don't think a difficulty curve (if there is one) has any affect on someone buying the game. In fact, it might encourage them to buy Rock Band, so stop trying to defend Guitar Hero with that nonsense. I just ran through them all on expert on my first try. Just because Guitar Hero has TTFAF doesn't mean it's so much harder than everything else. It's not rocket science.
The drums... No one can say if they're easy or hard, people. It's called oppinion. Some may have better coordination than others. That's not rocket science either, so stop arguing over it like toddlers. You're not going to play the drums the first time and instantly become good at it. It takes practice and people with half-a-brain in thier head should be able to figure that on thier own.
If you like graphics, then you should go with Rock Band. Sure, the characters have scripted movements, but so does Guitar Hero. The Graphics are extremely better in Rock Band hands down. For one, there is a lot emotion in the character's face. In Guitar Hero, everyone has a damn near emotionless face ("zombie faces" as I like to call them), the characters have very limited script and the drummer doesn't even hit the drums when he plays. Rock Band's awesome effects during gameplay make it a good party game, but can become distracting at times and will irritate serious gamers (most likely the kind that break thier controller when they lose). Guitar Hero, on the other hand, has little or no effects at all. You get the same thing throughout the whole game, which is pretty boring. But hey, some people like boring.
The songs... This is another voice of oppinion, so I have no comments.
Downloads... Rock Band came out about 2 months after Guitar Hero III, and it's already got 4 times the amount of DLC (Downloadable Content). Obviously, if you would like to expand your setlists (and most of you would) then Rock Band is for you.
Overall... Rock band is great. The full character customization and extreme advancement in graphics set the bar for music games. The choice of alternate instruments gives variety to the game (Speaking of variety, with a full band of customized characters, there are over 10 thousand possible combinations for a band). The effects are great, the multiplayer is even better, and the Multiplayer career is so more advanced that Guitar Hero's (It provides over 100+ hours of gameplay).
The only down-side to all of this is that Rock Band costs an extra $80, but it is worth the money. If you are saving up for a music game, take the time for $80 extra. Trust me, you'll be grateful.
P.S. If you read all of this, I love you. xd
