The problem with Druid burst healing is that they don't really get the best bonuses for the mana cost and time it takes to cast it. But that doesn't mean it isn't good. Not only does it heal alot (espeically with plenty of +healing) Nature Swiftness + Healing Touch = A second life (in a sense).
Druids don't really get that much mana bonus for spirit, so stacking spirit and Mp5 is very, very, very important.
Nowadays though, +healing and mp5 is the only real way to heal. So sad how healing has become so linear.

Any crafting skill without supporting material gathering skill is going to cost you money smile
so it is up to you smile you could take up two profession without any gathering profession...... but you have to have an alt to gather for you or buy them.
Is it worth a single item? I don't know on that. I personally don't think so, but then again each person has a different play style.

Dreamstate sucks for PvP and raiding. For 5 mans its actually better than going full resto and healing them until the druid has gear. But overall the spec sucks and I shake my head at resto druids that apply to our guild wanting to stay dreamstate x.x
