Kiba walked over to the track in his gym clothes and began streching. He knew it was too early for anyone to be bothering to practice on the track. He let out a small yawn and the still somewhat darkened sky didn't give him the feeling of wanting to stay awake. He stretched out his legs and jumped a few times before he started to run himself. His eyes quickly caught sight of someone else running on the opposite side of the track from him and slowly looked to the side to concentrate on himself. he thought as he let the mystery person slide for the morning.

At that moment the sun cleared a cloud and NAruto's hair caught the sun and turned a golden color. He slowed down, panting to catch his breath. Turning he caught sight of someone else on the track and his heart stoped for a breif moment. He turned suddenly and tore off the track, moving twice as fast now

Kiba let out a yawn at the first sight of the sun and slowly came to a stop. He tried to focus on the sun that was supposed to get rid of his sleepiness. His eyes quickly looked around the track and grew surprised at the sudden disappearance of the other. he thought as he continued to run. The start of school was drawing near and he felt in no hurry for his running time to come to an end.

Unfourtunatly he should have been running the other way as he rounded the cornor of the school and ran right into the chest of the star football player and a few of his friends. The enxt few moments went by fast but b the time he manged to get away he was bruised in quite a few places, had a split lip and a bloody nose. Sure he had gotten in quite a few good hits himself but outmuscled and outnumbered? HE hadnt stood a chance. Forgetting that there was someone out on the feild he began to limp on a badly sprained ankle back home. He was going to be late but that was normal for him an the teachers didnt really care anyways. He cut right through the track, one hand holding his bag carefully on his slightyl less ingured shoulder while hi other arm was pressed agaisnt his side. He didnt look up or around, to busy on making sure he wouldnt trip over soemthing and fall

Kiba slowly came to a stop on the track at the mangled sight of the other. He tilted his head to the side trying to come up with the name of the other. Nothing came to mind. He walked over to the other and kept his distance as he asked, "Hey, you okay?" He tried to sound sympathetic but ended up sounding confused.

Sky blue eyes shot up to meet the tohers and he stoped, blinking in surrize. No one had ever actually asked about hsi wellbeign ebfore and he asnt sure what to do. Umfourtunatly, now that he ahd stoped he could feel his body tremblig with the effort to stay up

"So....are you okay?" Kiba repeated himself. He still kept his distance from the other and started to notice the other trembling. "Did someone beat you up?" He still couldn't figure out who the other was. He was beginning to think that he had a bad memory.

Naruto looked over his shoulder and, seeing the group starting to come around hte cornor after him he gave a small gasp and quickly began to walk again, he wished he was able to run, espacily when the group spotted him and began to run after him. For some reason they were in a really bad mood today. He jsut hoped the other person infront of his wasnt going to try and hep them

Kiba noticed the group of kids coming up to the track and put on a sort of bored face. It was the star football player. A rival when it came to the sports hightlights of the school. He watched the single figure try to make his escape and walked over to him to sort of stop him. The football star stopped a short distance away when he got close enough and smirked at the other. Kiba narrowed his eyes and then smiled. "So.....what are you thick necks up to? You usually aren't ones to trespass onto the runners turf. Or....do you think you big muscled giants are now fast enough to catch us." He knew the other wouldn't dare take him out. He would easily lose that title of his. Kiba made sure to stand in front of the other. "Would you care to explain why you're here now?"

Naruto didnt care why the runner was he;ping him, he jsut cared that he ahd someone to lean on as his ribs hurt something awfle. So he leaned agasint Kiba's back, listening to what was going on. The football star sneered as his friends laughed "Cool your jets, we jsut want the little worm behind you, were not done with him." HE replied, arms crossed over hsi chest

"Why do you want this little guy?" Kiba questioned as he stared fearlessly into the football star's eyes. He could feel the other leaning against him and quickly threw that thought to the side. Why was the other so close? He smirked back at the football star. "This guy actually has some potential to be on my track team. I guess that means that if I add him you won't be able to touch him for whatever reasons you may have against him."

Naruto raised his head at that, if he joined the track team then he wouldnt get beat up? He had always htought being near them would jsut give them incentive. He supposd if this boy meant his offer he could run and otherwise avoid them, he wasnt sure he could take getting hit like this anymore. The football star sneered and leaned closer "Youd best becareful, that kids a desiese" HE warned him with a snort as he spat at Kiba's feet and turned away "LEts go, let Kiba ruin his track team" He laughed

Kiba narrowed his eyes as he watched the football players walk off of the track. He looked down at his feet when the two were alone and stepped away from the spit. "Like hell adding one more member would ruin my team." He was about to stomp off toward the school when he remembered that the other was still holding on to him. "So, when do you plan on letting go?" He smiled at the other gently.

Naruto had left go after a few stpes, stumbiling slightly. STanding up straight he realized immediatly was a very bad idea as right away his vison went alittle black and he swayed, falling to his knees. They really did beat him badly this time. He wouldnt be able to make it home so he decided to head back into the school and find Iruka, Iruka always helped him. First however he had to NOT pass out or throw up

Kiba looked around before he knelt down in front of the other. "I can help you walk, you know." He wrapped the other's arm around his shoulders and slowly stood to his feet making sure not to stand too fast for the other. He started leading the other to the school and kept looking around as he made it closer to the school. "So, should I just take you straight to the nurse or would you like to be taken elsewhere?"
