Not ripping on your idea, but to give my honest opinion I would say that probably goes over the line of inappropriate. In real life, we COVER our garments... we don't flash them like badges. They are sacred and playing around like that is just... not cool. If we had guild t-shirts or something, fun... cute. Making light of covenants, Mmmm... I think Our Father would NOT be pleased with that.

I figured since they would be invisible (ie, you can't see them even when you wear them) it would make no difference. It would just be something to distinguish the LDS on the board.

if you can't seem them then what is the point? It makes no sense to have an item for this guild only if no one can see it. Honestly...items for the guild specifically is just not that cool an idea...and it is not realistic to assume that the developers of gaia would agree to this...even if they were not lame.

The point is for us to own items that are specific to the guild. Being that we are all LDS (or conform to the ideals of the LDS church), then to have such an item, even if it were invisible, would be an outward sign of our affiliation. Secondly, for the developers, if we throw some money at them, then maybe they would find it beneficial to do as such for us.

Thanks for thinking my idea is lame, though. I appreciate the constructive criticism.

Your welcome.

(I still cannot make myself understand how and invisible item is an outward sign of our affiliation. If it is invisible then no one can see it. It is not a sign.)

For the same reason we wear them in the church. Its not an outward sign. Besides, I can see your equipment list and see that you are wearing an item called LDS Garments, but there is no shape it takes. Its there for you, not for them.
