"Well, it's nice to meet you Sarah." Senra could still tell the girl was uncomfortable, since she kept her eyes downcast as much as possible. She could also see that she was interested in Faile, but was quite shy, so she had an idea. "Well, I want to go see what that howl was all about, but Faile would be in a touch of trouble against a Fenrir, should it come to that. So..." Senra paused as she put Faile on a nearby stump. The bird hobbled awkwardly onto it, but didn't move, passivly content. "...I'm going to leave her here for the moment. She won't move, but could you watch her for me for a moment? She can be such an airhead. Don't worry, she doesn't bite Elves."

Without allowing the girl to reply, Senra took off in the direction of the howl. I know she's taken a liking to Faile. This'll give her some alone time to interact with her without me and my presence. Running through the woods, she smiled.

When she began thinking about the Fenrir's cry, she began to get worried. I hope I can help it. It sounded like it was in deep trouble. Reaching her destination, she stopped. Indeed it was a Fenrir, but another Elf was with it already. "Well, I'll be. No interaction with elves for almost a year, and I run into two in the same day." she muttered under her breath. "Hi!" she called out the Elf.

Robin had zoned out for a moment, mostly only aware of the faint, flutelike sound by her left ear. After a moment, she realized that a tiny bird had perched on her shoulder and was singing contentedly. She was so surprised by this unexpected presence that she jumped, the bird flew away, twittering in a startled way, before landing with a gentle thump on her right shoulder, it immediatley began to sing again. Lark whined and began to hum to the tune, and Robin found herself doing so as well, but they should be getting back to the cave, it was nearing noon, after all, and then she heard someone shout "hi!" Her imagination? Apparently not, when Robin turned to find the source of the noise, she saw another elven girl, perhaps only a few years older than she. "Oh, hello!" She called back, "I expect you were curious about the source of the howl? It was Lark, she gets into trouble quite a bit," Lark nodded, looking rather embarrassed, but it was harder to tell with fenrirs. Robin kept a firm grip on Lark's scruff all the while, meaning that she shouldn't go and attack the other elf, which Robin was sure Lark would have done otherwise, she was a fenrir, after all. Robin herself wasn't surprised that someone might have come to investigate the source of the noise, however, the howl of a fenrir, especially of a fenrir that was in trouble or frightened, always drew some attention, so she was normally given the job of explaining that Lark often got stuck in the mud and had trouble getting out and was frightened that someday, Robin wouldn't come because she hadn't heard her howl. Like anyone could miss a fenrir's howl.

Robin smiled, a hawk, huh? She loved animals of all sorts, it seemed the same with this girl, Senra. Lark whimpered and pushed her head against Robin's hand, "oh, right, sorry Lark," it was about time for Lark's lunch and Robin hadn't quite finished teaching her about catching her own food, it was a bit early for Lark to learn anyway, but it would be good to start her early. Turning around, she began to make her way back to the cave, Lark soon overtook her, though, being a bouncy, energetic pup and she had to run to keep up.

'Was it just me or did she just move to glare at me...?' Sarah thought, paranoid for no reason. Sarah stood up, a dull ache in her back from sitting crouched over like that for to long. She glanced around again and then looked back to the bird, "Well um, Faile, i'm going to go, it's getting late." Sarah said nervously even though it wasn't anywhere near to getting "late" as Sarah had said it was. "Sorry for leaving you all alone." Sarah apologized, feeling a little silly talking to a bird. She gave the bird a small bow and turned to keep walking the way she had been before, her steps being quicker this time around. 'You're acting silly Sarah, it's only a bird.'

As Sarah was walking along, her steps slowing down after getting far enough away from Faile, she spotted a black dot of a person, not to far off, kneeling by the water of the lake. 'Don't freak out Sarah, it's just a scary guy dressed in black....' Sarah thought, trying to calm herself. As she got closer she hastened her pace and looked straight ahead of her as she walked, and with her eyes not on the ground like she usually had them, Sarah didn't see a loose tree root sticking out of the ground. Sarah started walking even faster, she was just was just about to pass behind the guy dressed in black when her foot caught on that tree root she hadn't seen. "Umph!" Sarah landed on her stomach, all the air being knocked out of her. 'Uggggg, Sarah! What the hell?! What was that?!' Sarah groaned and started to push her self up.
