I love Rose, she was a great companion in my opinion. She was there for the Doctor. You could see how much he loved her and when she left, my heart sank. I cried then I was insanely happy when she came back. Rose saved everyone and the Doctor. Not many people get to say that. Rose was brave and dim at some times but that makes her special. She's loyal and always there for the Doctor. I was sad to see Rose go but happy that she gets to live out the rest of her life with the human Doctor.

Eh, I have mixed feelings about Rose. I mean, she was good as a companion, and I liked her, but when she left, we were suddenly being reminded at least once an episode of how WONDERFUL she was and how PERFECTLY PERFECT she was for the Doctor and... well, in the end, I just got sick of it. Personally, I find Donna and Amy to be more interesting as companions.
Reflecting on it, I think that part of it is that I like her dynamic with the 9th Doctor much more than the way she was with 10... so I liked her quite a lot in the first season.

Yea I completely agree with that entire statement And I'm not sure why but I'm not a huge fan of Billy Piper so that's probably got a lot to do with it.

I liked Rose, but yeah, eventually you just have to let go of the companion, y'know? The Doctor is starting to get really clingy with his companions. I didn't need to hear her mentioned every five minutes in series 3. She also was a tad bit mean to Mickey, and it was a little rude to snog 10.5 right in front of the Doctor. And the jealous of Sarah Jane was a little...eh. But still. She had her good moments, saved the Doctor, and was a nice person most of the time.

I was introduced to Doctor Who a few months ago when some friends made me watch "Christmas Invasion". (Thank you, friends!) Rose was the first companion I saw, and she's still my favourite. Even if she did do some stupid things *cough paradox cough* it just made me realize that she was a regular person who could mess up. I think she kept 9 from getting stuck in a survivor's guilt/depression cycle, and definitely was a good partner for 10. I'm a bit mixed over the whole 10/Rose romance, but I can see how it happened and I accept it.

Awwww man, Rose Tyler, dear dear Rose.
The 9th doctor scared me a little when you first meet him with Rose ((which might throw me out as a compainion)) but she brough out his good side, a much gentler side.
When Rose saw into the energy vortex during the 9th doctor (last episode with him) he saw something very special in her. She realized all of the pain he was in, everything that he felt for those few moments before the doctor had to take it away to save her life.
And then when she was torn away from the 10th doctor making her go into a alternate universe, it just about broke up my stitched heart (literally)
Then again when.....ok, there was one appearance of her on the monitor screen when they were on the train which was stuck. His heard was turned away from her.
Then Donna saw her in her alternate reality thanks to that.....ew......bug.
Then everyone saw her when the Daleks took over. So sweet but bitter sweet when he had to leave her at Bad Wolf Bay.....
Spoiler: There has been talk about bringing Rose (yet again) into the 11th doctors area now. Time paradox.....I think it could literally have all started with her seeing into the time vortex. Well her and the 9th and 10th showing up

Trixta I do love Rose. She brought out a lot of "feelings" that the I thought the Doctor kept hidden. And the dynamic of their partnership was fuzzy, warm, and brought me all sorts of gushy feelings myself when I saw how torn and saddened the Doctor was when he knew he would never see Rose again. Same with Rose, when she left the Doctor (not by choice of course), she was simply sick over it. I do hope that the new season brings out some type of closure to their relationship.... crying heart Rose was good for the Doctor to help him get over all the hurt and sadness from the Time War. She did help to bring the good feelings back for him just to have it taken away when she became stuck in the parallel universe. At least she gets a form of the Doctor in the Metacrisis Doctor... One that will age with her. Like he said in Doomsday: 'The one adventure that I can't have'
