Damage = ( 8 ) - (2 * (2 - 0))=4
Then - the defense dice of 2 for a total of 2 damage.
Woudn't that be the correct way to do the pervious round? Because the forumla doesn't mention defenders dice because they apply after all attacks are calculated.
(And Random, yes, AMP helped me create my character, he was laughing and said it was like the opposite of his character.)

(True, I think that is correct. Sorry for this confusion, just a little confused about your character. Your character's weird stats makes my brain hurt. Oh well, continue battle!)

By my estimation the current damage totals are:
Perrian: 8/20 1st round: 0 2nd round: 4 -1 regen=3 3rd round: 10-1 regen=9
Darksun: 12/30 1st round: 0 2nd round: 0 3rd round: 18

OK Thanks Master!
Darksun was shaken up after having his skin scorched heavily from the fireball from the mage. Powered up as much as he could be, he opted to make sure it didn't happen again. He lept forward with two stinging mantis strikes hitting Perrian in two different places making sure to freeze his chi. He then spun behind Perrian, grabbing his neck and twisting it to knock him out, rather then breaking it.

Perrian spit out some blood from the fury of attacks. He saw two more incoming stunning attempts. He avoided one, but the other got him. He stood there and got into another defensive stance. He hoped he would still be alive afterwards to tell the tale.

As you stated before, you must have an attack score greater than your opponents defense score OR the ability to roll combat dice for attack. With his attack of 0, he is subject to a -4 to each combat roll, but still has the potential for damage. (pre power-up)

Currently he raised his attack score to 3 with power up, so he can now do damage normally. sad

((eh Np. Your character is kinda like mine, Darksun... We both have more of a 'damage over time' feel... Although mine can't really stand as much damage.))

(Your forgot your dice for defense last round.)
(Random, I'm apparently not the best damage dealer out there right now, but I'm in the tournament right now to try and get a shop ticket to buy a Meteor action. Then I'll be a damage machine. Plus my multitude of actions should prove handy in alot of different situations. Me and AMP figured this was the best build for a stratigic, percise Monk with quick reflexes.)

(7total dice +3 for attack=10 -2 def, -5 dice= 3 damage total.)
Darksun was taken aback once more by the mages ability to dodge his blows. "You continue to impress me! This has been a good fight. Exactly what I was looking for!" He quickly pivited his foot back, and redistributed his weight to his back foot. Twisting his body with a forward lunge, he dove straight at Perrian with a "Mantis Corkscrew" landing in a ball at his feet after the blow had stunned him. Once again manipulating the energy of his movements , Darksun raised his head and jumped up, connecting the bottom of Perrians jaw to the hard spot on the top of his head with massive force.

"Ha! Your combat skills far exceed your frail demenor! You have the element of surprise about you!" Darksun chuckled. He knew if he didn't finish him quickly, he would fall to one of the dangerious fireballs his mage opponent would eventually land. With multiple Mantis strikes to Perrian, Darksun followed up with a devestating uppercut, blasting Perrian off of his feet.
