Glancing over to the little flower bloom upon her desk, Angie tapped her pen against the table. Having aquired such a precious and delicate gem of life was the easy part. Trying to decide what exactly to do with such an object was quite another. A notebook sat in front of the fox-girl, blue in color, as were most things in her possessions. Fresh and new, it had swirly writing upon it's cover, noting that it was a journal for the bloom, somewhere for Angie to mark down changes, thoughts and ideas on what would happen with this poor thing. Turned to the first page, there was only a few words written on it, in the form of the date and the heading "Day One." A few more minutes resonated the hollow tapping of the pen, before she finally got the nerve, and the inspiration to write something.

11/25/04
Day One:
I have come across a rather extraordinary flower, in which I believe was called a Feien Fairy bloom. This flower is rather gorgeous in its oranges and greens and reds, one of the most spectacular I've ever seen. Now, like most any girl, I love flowers. There's no doubt about that. But what exactly does one do with a flower? I don't suppose sticking it in a pot of potting soil and watering it will do it any harm, though I also don't think that'd do it much good either. At the moment, it sits in a small glass, its leaves poking out of the top, the flower itself popping out from the leaves and the top of the glass. I put a little sugary water at the bottom, so when the water evaporated up, it would soak into the flower as well.

I look forward to seeing what this bloom will bring, and how it will change my life. Corny sounding I know, but come on, think about it. Is there really anything in this world that doesn't change our lives in some particular way? Even if its a teeny tiny little bit, it still changes us. So even if this flower remains as it is now, it will still have had an impact on my life. Though I'm sure much much more will emerge from this venture, most likely more than I can imagine. But hey, we'll see that when it comes, right?

It was here that the writing wobbled off. Storm gray eyes strayed away towards the window, looking out towards the full moon outside. The pen slipped from Angie's fingers as she zoned out for a moment, simply thinking. It wasn't long before the fox-girl snapped out of it, shaking her head, her ears flopping against the side of her head. "Oiy, I need to stop doing that, really." Her comment wasn't to anyone particular, but could have been directed towards the bloom for all she herself knew. Her attention span was becoming shorter and shorter these days as her doctor appointments loomed in the not so distant future.

Sheepishly, Angie glanced down at the notebook and quickly tried to rub away some of the wobbled ink, but to no avail. "Rats. I should rewrite this one, so that it doesn't look so.... disfigured." Sighing, the fox-girl slowly closed the notebook and clicked the pen closed, then set the bloom atop of the journal. "Tomorrow we'll see how much trouble we can get in, sound good?" Angie stood and stretched, yawning softly as she pushed her chair in. Taking one last look at the bloom in the glass, she smiled and flicked the light off, and headed to bed. Tomorrow she could get more aquainted with the tiny flower, and maybe figure out what to do that it might like, if it had any likes at all...

This just wasn't the waking time of day that bordered normalcy for her. Darkness still blanketed the ground outside, tucking the world in around her. Yet she sat up, blearily looking around the dark room, lit only by the small candle she had set up in the middle of the room on a table, where it wouldn't cause any harm. What on earth had woken her up? Storm grey eyes peered towards the door in puzzlement. A feeling of some sort had woken her up, an eerie one at that, chills sliding down her spine, bordering on painful as she slowly slid out of bed. The fox-girl shuddered as the cold floor seeped into the warmth that had been her feet.

"Ugh....Need rugs around here. One of these days I'll get one or two. It'll save me from catching another cold, blast it." The soft curse was emphasized by a sneeze that caused her to step back for a moment. Nearly rattled her brains loose that time, who knows what'd come of it if it happened again. Tilting her head, Angie paused. Now why had she gotten up? Oh, right, that strange feeling and waking up like she did. Creeping towards the door, the fox-girl padded lightly, not wanting to disturb anyone, nor did she want to alert any intruders, if that was what had woken her up. Common sense told her to grab some kind of weapon or something in which to defend herself, just in case. Nearest thing that slid into her hand was an alarm clock. Not the most intelligent or effective weapon in the world, but something was better than nothing. Maybe she could rattle their brains loose with the ringer on the stupid thing. Besides, it was the middle of the night, she was still half asleep, and of course she couldn't do much better than that.

Creeping down the hallway, Ang bit her lip, trying to keep her breathing down to a minimum, a rather challenging feat considering her heart was beating a mile an hour and wanting more oxygen than she'd like to give. One step after another, she neared the living room, hoping beyond hope that it was someone she could dispatch of rather quickly, without a big mess or scene. Strangely enough, the back of her mind registered that none of the others she lived with were awake or alarmed at all. But it didn't occur to her to wonder about that. Raising the alarm clock over her head, the fox-girl tiptoed around the corner, stopping short as she realized no one was there, save herself. Well wasn't that disappointing. Lowering the alarm clock, Angie scanned the room for anything out of place, but nothing was touched. Grumbling a few curses under her breath, she continued on through the living room towards the kitchen. It was the second most likely place an intruder would be hiding, though why they would be there was behind her comprehension. A sneaky glance from the left to the right, and the fox-girl snuck into the kitchen with a sharp "AHA!" But again she found nothing. In fact, she was beginning to feel rather foolish. No one was around, nothing was amiss, everything was as it should be.

"How disappointing. At least something could be wrong, for all the trouble I went through to discover them." The fox-girl snorted as she turned around, slowly wandering back to bed. But something to her left caught her eye. Something on her desk just wasn't right, but what was it? She couldn't place the change for the life of her. The computer monitor was off, the candle was blown out, the notebook she'd been writing in for the feien bloom sat on top of the pile of other journals, and... Wait. Feien bloom. Hadn't she put the bloom atop of that notebook, so that she wouldn't misplace it? But it wasn't there now. So where had it gone? It's not like it could get up and wander off by itself, right?

What the fox-girl didn't realize was something was sneaking up behind her as she searched the desk, tiptoe-ing on air, light as a feather. Wings hummed softly, like those of a hummingbird as it hovers around a sweet flower full of nectar. At first Angie didn't hear this humming, but the closer that the figure got, the more she could hear something that just didn't sound right. Pausing in her searching, she tilted her head, swivelling an ear to listen behind her. Yes, a very distinct sound could be heard behind her. Angie turned around to see what it was, but was greeted by nothing at all. Scratching her head, the fox-girl wondered if her mind was finally going. Or maybe all this was just a dream, induced by the vicoden tablet she'd taken earlier that night. Her yawning widely seemed to confirm the fact that it was just a dream, so she left the mess that had been created on the desk in the search for the bloom. If nothing else, she could find it tomorrow when she had more of a mind to look for it. Heading back to her bedroom, Angie's delicate ears caught the sound of the humming again. This time, however, she ignored it. Sleep was more important right now.

Upon reaching her bed, Angie flopped down, pulling the covers around herself. Another wide yawn escaped her, then her eyes drifted closed. It wasn't long before the exhausted girl was fast asleep and dreaming of other things. As she slept, the humming figure alighted upon the pillow next to Angie, peering curiously at the fox. It seemed puzzled by her, and very fascinated by her fuzzy ears. Reaching out to touch the silky furred objects, it was rewarded by nearly getting knocked over as the ear flicked slightly. Once again, the figure reached out to touch the ear, seeming to be intrigued by the fact that it was attached to the "human". Wings buzzed happily as the figure anticipated the flick and backed up accordingly this time. Over and over again the process was repeated. Occasionally, Angie would swipe a hand up by her ear, but after being knocked over once by the hand, the figure learned to anticipate that as well. But by the end of the night, as day was breaking through the clouds in the sky, the little figure lay down upon the second pillow to rest, tired from all that had been experienced this night.

It wasn't long after that, that the fox-girl woke up, rubbing her eyes and stretching as she slowly gained feeling and life back to her sleep deadened limbs. At first she didn't notice the brightly colored ball curled up on her other pillow, but when she did, her jaw dropped. A beautiful little person lay there, curled up, using its wings as a blanket about its body. Gasping softly, Angie extended a finger out to touch the tiny creature, but stopped just short of it. She didn't want to wake the little fairy girl, for she appeared to be female. So delicate and beautiful the little fairy was, it was hard to believe that such a creature would grace her presence. However, that urged a memory of last night to surface into her mind. What had happened to the feien bloom that had gone missing last night? Had that been just a dream, or was it still gone? What would she do if it were still gone? So many 'what-ifs' clouded her mind as Angie jumped up, heading towards the living room to her desk. Frantically she searched every inch of her desk and under it, desperately looking for the pretty bloom. Oh man, this wasn't good, she just couildn't have lost it! She'd be so angry with herself if she had. An idea struck, and she took hold of the notebook she'd started for the bloom. Leafing through the pages, she looked for any clue as to where the flower might be. It wasn't a long search, there were only a couple of entries written so far, and none of them held any clue other than what she already knew. But another idea dawned on her. The fairy that was on her bed this morning, could it be?

Quickly she rushed back to her bedroom, finding the fairy sitting up on the pillow, blearily rubbing her eyes. Indeed, the golden markings upon the fairy's body were similar to the flower that had been in her care. Without meaning to, the fox-girl whispered out loud her thoughts. "So you must have come from the bloom. There's no other explaination for its disappearance..." The fairy looked up, startled at the sudden appearance of the fox-girl.

"Who --- are you?" The fairy asked, her voice soft and shy.

"My name is Angie... and you must be-"

"
I believe my name is Reneeka...." The fairy interrupted, the words suddenly blurting out of her mouth without meaning to. She hadn't known her name before, known what a name really was, but something just seemed right by saying it.

The answer surprised Angie, but she didn't argue. If the fairy knew her own name, then she would be called as such. It was a very pretty and fitting name for such a pretty creature anyhow, so why argue with perfection? Smiling, the fox-girl nodded. "I'm pleased to meet you, Reneeka. I hope you'll find my home and family as enjoyable as possible." Pointing towards the kitchen, the fox-girl grinned. "How about we get something to eat, and get to know each other better?" The thought occured to her that she wasn't exactly sure what a fairy would eat, but she pushed it aside, knowing that that could very well be trial and error, but not such a big deal. Pleased at the nodding response she got, she held out her hand to Reneeka as an offer to carry her. She was politely declined, and watched in awe as the pretty fairy rose aloft into the air with her beautiful wings. Indeed, she had lots of learning to do, but it would be worthwhile with a patient companion to learn from. She had no doubt that Reneeka and herself would have fun together. Happily, she bounced off towards the kitchen, wagging her tail as Reneeka fluttered merrily after her.

Where in the hell was that mp3 player? It wasn't in the usual places it would have been left in, they'd already been checked a thousand different times. It wasn't on the desk, nor by the bed, nor the kitchen or with her sash. It wasn't with her cd's or near her computer. It really wasn't in any logical place she could think of at the moment. And it was torturing the fox-girl endlessly, taunting her with its mystery. Turning on her heel, Angie headed back towards the desk with the strangest urge to search the hutch of the desk once more. It was rather overwhelming, as if something was telling her to go there, though she didn't understand why.

"Blast it all anyhow. How can I lose such an obvious object, without realizing before-hand that I lost it in the first place? I mean, come on. There's only so many places it can be, and 99.9% of them have already been searched. So why haven't I found it yet?! GRRRR!!!!" Her grumbling continued while she ambled towards the desk, though something didn't seem right. It wasn't as quiet as it should be, it was almost as if she could hear music softly playing from somewhere nearby. Twitching slightly, her ears swivelled in the direction of under the desk, listening for where the sound seemed to be coming from. What on earth....?

Under the desk, a medium sided tote sat, holding a couple of notebooks, as well as a bunch of photo albums full of pictures. It was behind that, that the mp3 player rested, along with shimmery golden wings and a tiny fluff of red hair. Reneeka was apparently off in her own little world, listening to whatever CD that Angie had in earlier, oblivious to the fox-girl that knelt down and peered around the corner at her. Twirling around to the beat, Rene's wings fluttered, knocking dust off of places in which Angie honestly didn't think there had been any dust. A small sneeze emitted from the fiery feien, pausing her actions temporarily. The moment Rene turned around with the intent of stepping on the "next" button to change the song, she saw Angie. A sheepish look plasted across her face, Rene hopped on "stop" to turn the music off, then looked back up to the fox-girl.

"Aha. I should have known a certain little sneak would make off with something I, myself, would want right about this time of night." Grinning, Angie kept her voice low, as to not blast her companion's eardrums out, and backed out from under the desk to allow Reneeka some room. "I take it you like the new cd I burned?" An excited bobble of the fairy's head urged a smile across the fox-girl's face. "I'm glad. I think I rather like it too, to be rather honest." Winking at the fairy, Angie began to gather the mp3 player and the headphones up and collect herself to stand up. "How about we go listen to it a bit more, from bed. That way, if we somehow fall asleep listening to it, we won't have to drag the other to bed. Sound fair enough?" It was a joke between them, Angie had fallen asleep on the floor listening to some anime music she'd gotten from a friend, and because she'd been so tired, she was one hard fox to wake up. Rene had tried and tried, pulling Angie's hair, pouring water on her face with a thimble she'd found, yelling in Angie's ear, just about everything she could think of, but the fox-girl hadn't woken up. It finally took the fairy turning off the mp3 player, to wake Angie up. Strangest thing either one of them had encountered, but now they joked about it all the time with each other.

With the response she'd hoped for, Angie grinned and stood up, heading towards the standing lamp that rested a few feet to her right. Waiting for Rene to catch up, the fox-girl paused, then turned out the light as she was followed by Reneeka, who was busily humming to herself on the way to the bedroom. There, a candle on the nightstand burned merrily, inviting them to crawl into bed, and sleep. Angie arranged the mp3 player on the middle of the bed, placing the headphones on the other pillow and making sure the cord wouldn't get tangled with anything. "It'll shut off by itself, so we don't have to worry about turning it off before we fall asleep." Turning the player on, she tested the volume, sliding it up and down until it was a comfortable volume without being attached to her ears. The fox-girl could still hear it, but not loud enough to bother her or her fairy companion as they slept.

Reneeka yawned, then spread her wings, pushing off of the floor towards the top of the bed. Alighting upon the covers, she quickly clambered over the soft folds, before tackling the pillow and flopping over onto it. "Fair enough to me." The fairy agreed with Angie's constant ramblings, getting used to it as the days passed on. Draping herself across the pillow, close to the headphones so she could listen to the music, Rene preened her braids whilst she waited for Angie to finish up. Bright tangerine colored eyes watched the fox-girl as she changed for bed, then as she clambered into bed beside the player. "You won't roll over on it this time, will you?" the feien innocently inquired. Angie's response caught her off-guard, and she couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, I'm sorry, I really am!" Rene giggled. She couldn't help it though, Angie's startled look and indignent "I will NOT roll over on it" were too funny to let go. But she left it alone and curled up on the pillow. "Don't forget to blow out the candle though. Fire wouldn't be a good excuse to wake up to." Within a moment later, the dancing light ceased, and they both were able to close their eyes. Neither one could stay away for long, though Rene was the first to fall asleep. A long day was now behind them, and more long days ahead of them yet. But it seemed that as long as they had good music and were able to share, they'd get along quite well together.

"Hey Rene? Whatcha wanna do today?" The fox-girl yawned after she spoke, glancing over to the feien who'd been slumbering on the pillow next to her. Angie wasn't exactly the morning sort, but they'd called it quits rather early the night before, so she'd been able to wake up earlier as a result. Her companion, she'd soon realized, was an early riser regardless. But who was she to argue with nature? Chuckling, the fox-girl sat up, shifting the covers to the middle of the bed as she prepared to get up.

"Well, I'm not sure...." Reneeka blushed a bit. It always felt ackward to be asked what she wanted to do, because, she still wasn't aware of everything there was to do. Glancing at Angie, she fidgited with the cloth pillowcase, plucking at the fibers which were rather large to her. She honestly didn't know what to say. There were a few things she wanted to do, but she didn't know if any of them were actually..do-able. Standing up, she fluttered her wings, hovering in the air for a moment before zipping over towards Angie's window to watch the sun's ascent into the sky. "I don't know...." She remained silent for a few moments, before turning back to Angie to study her for a moment.

Getting out of the bed, Angie busied herself with pulling some clothes out to wear, knowing that if they went anywhere, she wouldn't be wearing her pajamas, which were the rather comfortable slick cargo pants, paired with an old gaia t-shirt she had lying around. For this day though, she chose warmer clothing, because by the glance she got over Reneeka's head, it looked pretty cold outside. Her jeans, and blue seventies shirt, along with her warm parka would keep her warm, and give Rene a warm place to hang out in the hood. As she pulled on her jeans and shirt and went digging for socks, Angie glanced back up towards Rene. She herself was rather excited, having a plan in mind in case Rene couldn't think of anything she wanted to do. Though she tried to keep her excitement kind of...low key, she realized that her feien could probably sense it anyway.

And indeed, Rene caught on to Angie's excitement, and wondered why her bond was quite so.. chipper this morning. Normally if Angie was awake this early, she was cranky, wanting to sleep more, and hiding under the covers from the sun. What made this day so different, she mused. Zipping across the room to her bond, she alighted on Angie's shoulder, thinking on the question for a moment longer. Not being able to come up with a solid answer, however, Reneeka shook her head. "I haven't an idea of what to do today. What do you want to do today?" Leaning forward slightly, the feien peered at her bond curiously, the excitement the one felt becoming slightly infectious into the other.

"Well, I admit, I did have an idea in the first place, but was wiling to ignore it if you had something you wanted to do. I was thinking we could go out and shop for a bit. For you, of course." Angie's eyes sparkled as she watched for the fairy's reaction. The shopping she had in mind, would be one that she hoped Rene would enjoy quite a bit. She wanted to shop for something that would be a great boon for the fairy. Something that could be molded into a pleasant home for Rene. She didn't think the fairy would be able to handle living with and around her all the time, certainly the little one wished to have some private time here and there...

Reneeka was taken aback by that comment. "Shopping? For me?" Zipping to hover in front of her bond's face, curious as a cat about what on earth Angie could be shopping for. Taking hold of Angie's nose with her delicate hands, Rene tilted her head slightly. "What are we getting....for me?" She was almost afraid to ask, but she really did want to know. Wrinkling her own nose, the feien tried to picture what all Angie could have in mind for her. Its not like she needed much at all, being so small. Music, some fruit, and company, the chance/ability to get out and about from time to time, but what else could she need?

Chuckling softly, Angie raised her hand up to her nose, allowing the feien a chance to light upon her palm. "Little one, there are many things I can get you. I hear there are plenty of feien sized items at the shop, and there are a few other things elsewhere that I'd like to get you, you-sized, or not. Things you can pick, that we can use to decorate the house, for instance. To make our home show a little bit more of you, since you are a big part of our lives now." Smiling gently she slowly sat down on the bed to pull her socks and shoes on. "Besides, this place needs a bit more sprucing up, don't you think?" Winking at the feien, she stood up again, and gathered up her coat. "You ready, or do you need anything before we head out?"

Accidentally ignoring the hand that was offered, Rene stood agape at her bond. Feien-sized things at the shop? She hadn't realized that.. And Angie wanted her to help 'spruce' up the place, with things she picked out? The fairy couldn't believe her ears. Excitedly, she flitted from Angie's nose to the hood on the jacket, curling up within the fur. "I'm ready!" Reneeka couldn't wait to go shopping, after all, it sounded like a lot of fun! It was by incident that she almost forgot, however, to remind Angie to not forget the keys to the house. Regardless of the pleasant-ness of Gaia, there were always those strange weirdos who might try to wander in and take what they want, whether that be any "stray" animals laying around, paperwork or more importantly, precious items or gold. Angie had told her about such things, and now Reneeka kept watch for her bond, making sure such things would never happen to them. "Don't forget the keys!!!"

Amused by the actions of her bondling, Angie scooped up her pack, a small bag she carried around with her to hold whatever small items, gold, or creatures she found along her travels. This day, it would hold whatever they found to buy. She was nearly out the door when a voice behind her belted out 'Don't forget the keys!!!'. "Oh my! Thank you Rene, I certainly would have forgotten them otherwise." Flicking her tail, the fox-girl turned around, heading to the kitchen table, remembering that's where she last laid the objects in question. Snatching them up, Angie looked around to make sure she had everything this time. "Gold?" Rene's voice behind her answered 'check!' "Keys?" 'Check!' "Reneeka!" 'Check,' the voice giggled. "Brain?" Angie shot off with a snerk. 'I should hope so....' "Alright alright. I think we have everything this time. Let's get this show on the road!" Happy to be leaving at last, the fox-girl bounded towards the door, nudging it open with a shoulder as she locked it from the inside.....

Rene meets Hitomi, then Aria and Ian. Shop RP

Hitomi is in new and different surroundings and it facinates her! She flits about the shop from table top to table top exploring the new area. She flies by the lightswitch and listens to the hum of a buzzing wire on the brink of shorting. She peeks into the crack beside the switch and slides her hand in and begins manipulating the circuitry to take a bit of the strain off that one wire.

After having convinced her bond that she wanted to try again, Reneeka was now back at the shop. Her last visit hadn't gone very well, having ran off within the first few moments of being there. To be honest, Rene didn't have a clue as to why she ran off. Something inside of her just snapped and she had the urge to return to Angie. Her poor companions, the pixa-collie duo had a hard time keeping up with the zippy feien as she streaked home.

However this time would be different. Not only did she leave the "feien-sitters" at home, but she also had made a vow to herself that she wouldn't leave until she'd met someone. Hopefully she'd keep this goal...

Peering past the door, Reneeka quietly fluttered in, not willing to raise her voice above a whisper as she called out, "Hello? Is anyone... *gulp* here?" Could it be, the diva herself was having stage fright, of a sort?

Hitomi hears the door creak open and she throws her head back to see if anyone came in. Her hands still stuck in the light switch she tries to fly off towards the other new arrival and gives hersel a nice shock. She grimaces as she pulls her buzzing hands from the lightswitch plate. She flies over and hovers a few seconds in front of the orane one before her wings tire and she settles to a table. "Hello! I'm Hitomi!"

Blinking, Reneeka turns with a flourish, staring at the other feien in a mixture of shock, disappointment, and excitement all rolled into one. She'd kind of hoped that she was alone in here, but also hoped to see someone. And at the same time, Rene was shocked that someone appeared so quickly. She hadn't thought anyone could hear her soft voice, but she supposed such a thing wasn't entirely impossible either.

Swallowing hard, she gathered her nerves in one bundle and waved to Hitomi. "Hello. I'm Reneeka." Smiling, she pushed off the floor and fluttered over to where the other feien stood, alighting softly upon the table's surface.

"That's a very pretty name! And that's a very pretty color," she says as she motions towards the flamboyant oraneg markings. "And your hair is really cool!" She giggles happily while shaking her arm trying to bring feeling back to it. "I like to fix things, but sometimes it isn't the best thing to do without being properly grounded. At least that's what Shen says."

Glancing down to her markings, in which she'd never really given hardly a thought to, and raising a hand up to the brilliant red hair to fiddle with a braid, Reneeka blushed at the other feien's compliments. "Thank you. I like your hair too. Its got pretty blue stripes in it..." Tilting her head, Rene pondered the rest of what Hitomi had said. "Properly grounded?" She hadn't seen the other girl get zapped, which was probably a good thing. Spotting the arm Hitomi was shaking around, the brightly colored feien points at it. "Are you alright?" Not that she could do anything about it, but it appeared to her that something was wrong, even just slightly.

"Um..being properly grounded means that yuo shouldn't be flying while you do electrical work or else if you get zapped there's nowhere for it to go so it stays in you and you get zapped." Her arm was a bit numb, this was true, but nothing that wouldn't fix itself in time, "It'll be alright...eventually. Too much electricity can mess with you. What about you? What do you like to do? Got any hobbies? I like art...and fixing things."

Nodding, Rene listened, interested in learning new stuff, as much as possible. But when it came to a question for her to answer, she had to think for a moment on what to say. "I uhh... I really like listening to music. Of any sort, I'm not picky on which style it is." The dark fairy was rather proud of this fact. From the moment she'd bloomed, she'd been listening to music. Angie had told her that she'd been listening to music as a bloom as well, though she couldn't verify that for herself.

"I also like..." Again with the pondering. So many things she liked to do, including playing with her bond's pixa-swarm, but would that impress the other feien? Her diva side said find something flashy, but her practical side said who cares?. This time her practicality and absolute adoration of the tiny creatures won out. "I also love to play with pixapets. Of any shape, size and temperment," Rene smiled happily.

Aria flew in first, landing on the countertop, waiting for Ianios to join her. They hadn't been racing or anything, but it was still so cold out, Ian was having a hard time keeping up. Plants didn't react well to cold, and it sorta slowed him down.

She looked around, smiling as she saw two new feien. "Hi!"

Just then Ian flew in, nearly crashing into the doorframe as he winged his way to the countertop. He shivered, snow in his hair, melting. "Dragon's fire, it's bloody damn cold!" He shook himself, rubbing his arms. "Howdy."

"I have a PixaMouse! Her name is Eurydice, and she is an air mouse. And she's blue. And she went to space with me! You should come visit her sometime. And then you can meet Shen, and Mamma, and maybe Aunty Whitey. They are all very nice. But I have to go home and feed Eurydice becuase I don't know if I did that today. I forget things a lot. But hopefully if I didn't feed her than maybe Mamma remembered." She bends down and quickly scribbles her address on the table tap with the quill she keeps tucked behind her ear. "If you can find some paper, copy this down and come by sometime! We don't get many visitors and it would be a lot of fun to introduce you to Mamma and Shen and show you around and let Eurydice play with your pixas." Hitomi speaks very quickly and often runs sentances together, or repeat things...or both. She is incredibly forgetful with normall everyday things. "So um..bye!" Hitomi flutters up and away out a nearby window. Lets hope she can find her way home...

Reneeka was amazed at just how fast Hitomi appeared to be speaking. It was hard to keep up with, but she managed to get the basic gist of what the girl had been trying to say all along. Nodding, the fairy waved to Hitomi. "Goodbye! Have a safe trip home!" She made a mental note to remember the address on the table.

Turning to the other two feien who'd arrived, there was no trace of her former shyness. They looked much bigger than her though, she mused as she greeted them. "Hello. My name is Reneeka, and I am kinda new around here..." It wasn't that she was trying to advertise that she was the new kid on the block, they could probably guess that already without her saying anything. However it just kind of...popped out of her mouth as the right thing to say.

Ianios nodded. My, what a pretty feien! Differnet than most he'd met. "Nice to meet you. I'm Ianios."He took in the fact she had dark skin. Some had colored skin, but hers...hers stood out. And her markings and her wings...he seemed intralled by her.

Aria smirked, elbowing Ian in the side. "I'm Aria. Pleased to meet you, Reneeka. That's a pretty name." Aria liked her coloring. "Have you just emerged?"

Ian coughed, glaring at Aria. "Don't do that!" He turned from her, stepping forward to offer Reneeka his hand to shake.

Blushing for the, how many times was it now? She couldn't recall, but it was no matter. She was blushing again for the compliments over her name. "Thank you. I emerged...not too long ago, but not all that recently either. I've been to the shop once before, but had to go soon after I arrived." She passed it off as nothing important.

Glancing at the hand extended to her, she slowly reached her own out. They were both so polite, in fact, everyone she'd met so far had been rather polite. Maybe the shop wasn't such a scary place to be after all. Taking his hand, Rene smiled. "I'm quite pleased to meet both of you. I think both your names are pretty."

Ian grinned. "Feel free to call me Ian, everyone else does." He started blushing cause she had. It was a natural reaction.

Aria smiled. Well, she was always smiling. It was normal for her. "How do you like the shop so far? Met a lot of the feien yet?"

Ianios smirked, sitting down. He crossed his legs, leaning back. "What element are you? Out of curiousity, you know."

Both seemed interested in her, curious.

"I haven't met very many. In fact, I only know the names of 3 feien, and you're two of them..." She paused, looking around the shop for a moment. "But everyone I've met so far seems to be quite nice. I don't know what exactly I was expecting, but I'm glad for what I've encountered so far."

Rene pondered Ian's question, before answering. "I am of the sound element, if I recall correctly." Now that she actually thought about it, that would probably explain why she loved music so much...

Ianios nodded. "Interesting...I'm plant. Aria here is water...though that's obvious." He smirked as she nearly hit him.

Aria gave the smaller feien a smile. "That's good, most feien seem to be nice. I don't think I've come across too many mean ones."

Ian looked at Aria. "You should have been sound. You love music, singing..."

Aria smirked. "Maybe." She glanced at the clock. "We gotta get going. Nice to have met you, Reneeka!"

Ian got up, stretching. "Bye!"
With that, he followed her out the door.

Reneeka nodded, then waved as they zipped out the door. "BYE! See you again soon, maybe!" With that, she started aloft, but at the last second remembered the address written upon the table top. Without anything to write with on her, or paper, she'd have to rely on her memory and memorize it. When she got home, she'd have Angie write it down for her.

She stared at the address for a few moments, whispering it to herself over and over again, before finally nodding to herself, pleased. Without another word Rene zipped out the door, rushing home fast as she could before her wings froze off.

Just another day in Paradise... Shop RP

Maquinar
Reneeka
Hitomi
Aria
Kojak
Emperial
Ianios
Raphael
Ryuusei

The red and tan hunk of flesh that was Maq flew in through the window, heading straight for the item case. A small roll of paper was clenched in one hand, his eyes narrowed with a purpose. If he had to be here, after all, running errands for Q, he'd damn well make it quick.

Unrolling the now crumpled paper, Maq peered at the neatly formed words written on it. A frown creased his brow, and he glanced back up at the items in the case. "What the ******** does a bloom need a rapier for?" he muttered under his breath.

Flitting in through the door, Rene alighted on a table, not bothering to take a look around. Searching the tabletop, she looked for the address that had been written down for her a couple of nights ago. She'd remembered most of it, but not all, and was here for the rest of it, so she could tell her bond, so they'd have it for whenever.

"Oh come on. Where'd it go..." So intent was she on finding the tiny handwriting, that she didn't notice the other fairy also in the shop.

Just as Maq was beginning to roll the paper back up, his attention was caught by the flash of color that had suddenly entered the shop. Turning in that direction, he blinked. Orange? Was that possibly Neruo over there? The items in the case momentarily forgotten, Maq lifted off from there to head over in the newcomer's direction.

It was only when he was almost upon her that he realized that no, it wasn't Neruo. It was actually a female Feien. A rather attractive one at that, for a juvi. A broad grin lit his face as he landed. "Well, hello there. You look like you've lost something." One hand landed idly on his hip as he spoke. "Need some help?"

Suddenly startled by the appearance of a voice, as well as a body that accompanied the voice, Rene nearly fell over. You'd think she'd get used to such appearances, as that's all she'd encountered so far. "I uhh... Well, to be perfectly honest, yes. I have lost something. Somewhere on this table, if I remember correctly, is a bright pink feien's address. Hitomi, I believe her name was." She pondered a moment, then nodded. "Yes. Hitomi was her name. I remembered most of the address, but forgot the last little bit, and came back to retrieve it so my friend could write it down. However... I cant seem to find it now."

Rene wasn't above having someone help, and she nodded again. "Help, would be most appreciated. I believe there's a saying that says... 4 eyes are better than 2?" Frowning slightly, the fairy hoped that she'd said that right. "At least, I think that's what it was..."

"Too bad I don't know this Hitomi, or I'd just tell you how to get there myself," he drawled, starting to look around as well. A Feien sized scrap of paper on this table wouldn't be easy to spot, especially if it had managed to get blown off entirely. Pointing a finger upward, Maq looked back up at her with a raised brow. "Have you tried getting an arial view? Might be easier that way."

Part of him really wanted to see her in flight. Those wings of hers... They looked almost as useless for flying as his own were.

While her own wings weren't exactly the most practical for flying, they served their purpose, as long as she flapped them about as fast as a hummingbird. Now, the actual speed of a hummingbird's flapping wasn't exactly matchable, but the equivalent for would suffice for a comparision. Fluttering them slowly, she pondered his idea.

"That might work, although I think it would be harder. She wrote it on the table itself, instead of something easily portable, so I'm afraid it might have been....wiped away?" Rene was pretty sure the whole idea was a lost cause. It wasn't like she wasn't going to see Hitomi again, but she felt kind of responsible for having not been able to remember the entire address as she'd planned on doing.

On the table itself? Now that was a weird place to write something. "Guess that leaves out the address having blown off somewhere, eh?" He chuckled, the sound rumbling deep in his scarred chest. Taking a closer look at the table, he tried to figure out if he spotted anything that remotely resembled writing.

"I think, even if it wasn't wiped away, it's pretty much lost." Maq motioned to the wide expanse of wood around them, before his hand lifted up to run through his hair, sending the whole vibrant mass standing on end. "Maybe you'll run into her again."

It is a warm day outside and cool breezes blow through the shop. Along with the breezes a cheerful looking tickle-me-pink colored Feien. Her abilities hinder her from flying very well so she seems to fly more like a butterfly. Her body leads the way while her large feathered wings flap behind her sporradically and with small bursts of energy. She alights on a table to rest a moment before venturing around the shop again.

Aria flew into the shop, singing softly to herself. She wanted to get some more cloth, to make some beds for all the pets they had running around. There were so many and Rynn hadn't had the time.

Spying two familar red/orange feien, she grinned. Maq was there! She dove down, hovering behind him, putting her hands over his eyes. "Guess who?"

Nodding solemnly, Reneeka resigned herself to having been careless and lost it. But she also knew this feien was right, and that she'd see Hitomi again, so it wasn't such a horrible loss. "You're right. I'm sure I'll see her again."

It wasn't till a moment later that it hit her. "Mercy me, where are my manners. I apologize. Here we are, having a conversation, and I haven't introduced myself. My name is Reneeka." A flash from her previous encounters, namely with Ian, reminded her to extend her hand out for a friendly shake.

Something out of the corner of her eye looked rather familiar, but Rene knew her manners mattered at the moment, if only to herself, so she didn't turn to look quite yet.

She was quite surprised when yet another familar blur appeared behind her current company. Waving a little to Aria, Rene smiled warmly.

First the arrival of a bright pink flutter, and now... Reaching up a hand to cover those over his eyes, he ran his fingers along the shape of the digits, then up one wrist and over Aria's forearm. "Hmm... I'm going to have to guess..." His fingers tarried momentarily over the inside of her elbow before he grinned. "Aria?"

This was good. Two relatively well-adjusted adults here to talk things out with a pair of juvies. Much better them than other Feien Maq could think of. Of course, with his eyes covered like this, he missed Reneeka offering her hand.

Hitomi peered out the windows hoping she'd lost it. After getting home extremely late last night Mamma saw fit to buy her a set of Sprockets. Or as Hitomi liked to call them, Watchdogs. Even though they bore no resemblance to dogs in anyway. She had just turned to fly towards the other group when she hears the familiar buzz of the Watchdog that was sent to follow her around for the day. The almost translucent misty grey shell of the Air Sprocket comes whooshing through the window just after her. Hitomi rolled her baby blue eyes and took off floyings towards the group, two of which she recognized. "Hello Everyone!"

Aria giggled, letting go of Maq's eyes and waving to Reneeka. "Hi!" She said, coming around front, and landing. The caress in her elbow felt good, way good, but there were too many other feien about. "Hi Reneeka, Hitomi!"

She grinned up at Maq, her eyes sparkling. Had he been alone...well, she would suggest a snug off on a shelf or something. But with the children, that was out of the question.

Reneeka glanced down at her untaken hand, then to his eyes being covered and quickly retracted her hand, blushing. "Hello Aria!" Another voice joined them and she turned to greet it as well. "Hello Hitomi! We were...sort of just talking about you! Though I assure you it was all good."

Turning back to the rest of the feien, Reneeka observed them all. It was becoming apparent to her that none were alike. In color, shape, size, or demeanor. Not that that was a bad thing or anything. Just a simple observation she'd made so far.

"So all you lovely ladies have already met?" Maq laughed, as he wrapped a friendly arm around Aria's shoulders. "Good, good. Strength in numbers, and all that."

As he took in the two youngters, his fingers unconciously tightened on the roll of paper in his hand, forgotten. "Guess you two need to know who I am... Maquinar's the name, but you're free to call me Maq."

The door to the shop was opened and there was all most immediately growling noises heard from the entrance. Kojak came in, all most a roll in the air as he twisted to look around at Wren. He was getting a hang of the flying thing, even if he wasn't all that fast.

"Look, Kojak," the blue totetsu in Wren's arms squirmed and growled, trying to get free, "you stay here while I try to get Ripper a collar and a lead." At the mentioning of a collar, the totetsu started to squirm more. "... before he bites somebody else's arm off," he muttered quietly, before speaking louder, "take care of yourself. I'll be back, okay?"

"Okay. I'll be fine." Kojak nodded his head, happy that Wren was too distracted by the beast in his arms to be worried about him. Then again, at least the thing wasn't trying to eat him like it had some. He turned back around after the door shut and let his attention drift over to the others in the shop. He knew two of those present at least, but one reminded him of the painting Hitomi showed him. So, of course, he started to head that direction.

Aria grinned, wrapping an arm around Maq's waist. "Yep, we met last night, the night or so before..." She trailed off, seeing Kojak and his bond enter. "Hey! Nice to see you again so soon!" She waved him over, grinning.

She glanced up at Maq, not noticing the paper in his hand. "Hey, Maq, you know I got a near twin? I never caught her name last night though...." She trailed off, feeling a little uneasy again. That one had really raised some selfdoubt in her, but she shrugged it off. Most other feien seemed pleasent and she wasn't about to let her near twin ruin it for her.

Hitomi clasps her hands behind her back and rocks on the balls of her feet and smiles widely. "Really? I've only been back for a few days and already the talk of the town!" She looked to Maq as he introduced himself, "It's nice to meet you!"

As she heard the door open she leaned back to look and see who else was comming in. A busy day at the shop! She saw the fluffy swirls of black and yellow and smiled, "Hello Kojak!!"

His name was Maq. It seemed to fit him rather well, though Rene wasn't one to be a good judge of how names fit with their owners. But it was definately a name she could remember, and that's all that mattered right?

Peering around, the feien caught sight of yet another fairy nearing them, a different one than rest. This one was dark skinned, as she was, but he just seemed different somehow. She liked his hair though. It was poofy. Looked like it was probably pretty soft. But she pried her attention from the newcomer. It seemed rude to just stare, and she didn't want to seem rude to anyone.

All this time, Aria's conversation was lost on her. Rene hadn't heard a word of it at all. But Hitomi's bright voice greeting the newcomer brought Rene out of her silence, if only enough to make her appear like she'd been listening the whole time, instead of thinking.

"Near twin?" The idea struck something in Maq, but he wasn't qute able to figure out what. "You've got a near twin?"

The arrival of yet another juvi made Maq wonder if there had been some sort of meeting announcement that he'd missed last time he was here. The faint furrow that had begun to creep over his face at the "near twin" issue smoothed as he smiled at the newcomer, and a male at that. Would that mean there'd be some competition now? Damn, but Maq hoped so. He was aching for a good fight.

"Hitomi, Aria, hello." Kojak finally reached his destination, still hovering a bit to get in a little more practice with his flying. He smiled at the both of them, that charming smile. "It's good to see you two again."

Of course, he eventually did land and a smile was given in the direction of the other two. Particularly since it looked like the other one had been paying attention to him. His tail swished from side to side before curling around his leg briefly.

His gaze focused on the other male, the first one that he had seen, and he peered at him intently for a moment before looking to the other girl -- the brightly colored one. "Kojak's my name, and it's a pleasure to meet you two." Of course, he meant the new he didn't know. ( Apparently manners when it came to introductions was the one thing Wren got into his brain so far. )

Hitomi felt her face flush again and she suddenly got very jittery again. She was feeling fine just a moment ago. She sprocket that followed her in apparently felt the change of emotion and whirred a bit closer to her. Hitomi snapped her head to look at it and it seemed to back off a bit. "Hello Kojak, it's great to see you again." She looked to Aria, "And you too. I had fun last night meeting you guys!"

Aria nodded, frowning as she recalled Q. "She's shorter than I am, not by much though. Long blue hair, large blue dragon wings, her marking are blue, like mine, but circles." Of course Aria would refer to her wings as dragon wings and not bat. "She never told me her name, but she had the prettiest bloom with her...kinda friendly, but not, you know?"

She glanced up at him, nuzzling in close. She hoped this near twin wouldn't come and take her Maq from her. Well, Maq wasn't actually hers, but she liked thinking he was. Other than Ian, there really wasn't others she was sort close too.

"My name is Reneeka." Nodding towards Kojak, she acknowledged his name, staring at him maybe a little too long, but with innocent intent. So she could put a name with a face later on. Though she did happen to notice his tail and pondered about that for a moment....

Aria's description of another feien caught her attention, and she listened carefully. So far she hadn't encountered any such feien, but it would be good to know what others might be out there.

The strangest thing happened then, at least for anyone who had ever known Maq. As realization dawned on him, his bright orange eyes narrowed, blazing almost dangerously. This was the only emotion that showed, however, while his smile slipped away to near nothingness. He spoke softly, more of Aria's benefit than any of the others. "That would have been Quantel."

Humming Beethoven's Ninth, Emperial wandered into the shop as if her presence there was somehow a happy accident. This could not have been further from the truth.

Nestled into her hand and trembling almost violently from cold and fear, Luun began to doubt that he could go through with this. Not that he'd thought he could in the first place. Emperial had insisted.

"You want to do a breeding?" she had said. "Then we'll go to the shop and find two feien to help you. Everything'll be just fine!"

And Luun dearly, dealy wished he could believe her, but as he began to make out the noise of feien voices he only wanted to crawl deep down into Emperial's shirt and bury himself there where no one would find him.

Instead, Emperial called out a greeting to the other feien, mindful to shield Luun lest the little fellow faint. "Afternooon everyone!"

Aria looked at him, blinking. She was a little unnerved by his expression. "You know her?" she asked, her voice soft in return. Judging by his expression, she wasn't one he liked.

Looking up as she saw the shop owner enter, she grinned. "Hi Em!"

It looked like the two adults were focused on one another and Kojak only spared them a brief glance before letting them be. They looked attached to one another, in some way.

Seeing the flush on Hitomi's face, he did his best to not grin widely, but briefly looked curiously at the thing that was hovering about her. "It was fun. Particularly to get out of the house." Kojak shook his head before focusing on Reneeka. So she was the one that Hitomi had painted in the picture. "You're Reneeka? Hitomi spoke about you last night." A little bit, at least. She was brighter than he imagined, but it was cool.

Of course, at the sight of somebody else entering, he turned and looked towards them. His tail loosened and swished as he smiled in greeting, looking at the person curiously.

"Hello!" said Em, about to tack on Aria's name, only she had managed to forget it. "Maquinar, uhhh.... everyone."

Hitomi looked up as she saw someone MUCH larger than herself. It was defiantley a person like Mamma and Auntey Whitey, but this guy was different. Mamma had told her about this lady. She was in charge of the shop and she was the lady who saved the Feien. Hitomi fluttered up a bit higher, the lady had something in her hand and she wanted to know what it was. After fluttering abotu a foot higher Hitomi could see that it was a small boy who was a very pretty shade of blue. And he was shaking. She had hopes that he would come over and chat with them. It was always fun meeting new people.

Reneeka couldn't help but notice the change in Maq, and wondered why exactly he would react thusly to knowing whom Aria was speaking of. But she didn't want to pry, nor did he seem like he really wished to talk about it, so she wasn't going to be the one to implore futher on the subject.

Kojak wasn't the only one curious about the larger person entering. It wasn't like Rene hadn't seen other people similar to her bond, but this one held her interest for a moment before the fairy remembered that she'd been spoken to. "Hitomi spoke of me? I hope it was all good things." This time was Reneeka's turn to blush.

Spotting Em, Maq grinned again, Quantel momentarily forgotten. The chick didn't matter much, anyway. He lifted a hand in greeting. "Hey, Em! Long time no see!" Come to think of it, he couldn't remember having seen the woman since he grew. Guess his coloring made him easier for humans to remember, regardless of his size.

He nodded a bit to Aria, adding out of the corner of his mouth before he forgot, "Quantel is Tera's other Feien. You might want to steer clear of her."

Aria nodded, making a note of it. If Maq said to steer clear of her, she would. She trusted Maq. "I will," she said, smiling up to him, nuzzling into him. She wondered why Em was here, as she never seemed to be while Aria was. Maybe they had always missed each other.

"All good things and a painting of you she did," Kojak spoke to her, grinning and glancing at her out of the corner of his eye. He winked at her briefly before nodding his head towards Em -- since everyone was calling her that ( which meant was she the one that Wren and Halo had mentioned to him? ) -- as she looked just as curious as he was.

"Hello," Kojak said smoothly, still watching Em, and then looking up at Hitomi who was trying to get a flying feien's eye view of things it looked like.

"Say," said Emperial, addressing the gaggle of feien at large, "I'm looking for a pair of feien who might be interested in breeding. Does anyone know where I can find some?" In her cupped hands, Luun quaked and quivered, barely daring to even peek at the feien assemblage.

Oh my god... Aria thought. That's Ian and I!

"Em! I am wanting to breed! But Ianios is at home! It won't take me too long to go get him!" she cried out, unlatching herself from Maq. Granted, if Maq had asked, she'd have said yes in a heartbeat. But he hadn't, so she was going to go get Ian.

"I'll return shortly!" Launching herself from the countertop, she flew out the door, as fast as she could go.

Maq was damned glad now that Tera had made him go to the shop for Quantel. After her big speech about wanting to breed with him, she'd be all over Em at the moment, and another bloom was the last thing Q needed in her possession. After all, he was still coming up with ways to get the spiky thing away from her.

Aria, though. He was more than happy that now she was getting her chance. As she zipped away, he grinned widely. "She's been looking forward to this for a while now," he supplied for Em's benefit.

Hitomi strains to keep herself aloft as she ever so slowly drifts back down to the table. She quickly scampers back over to Reneeka and Kojak and smiles, "There's a little boy in her hand. He's blue. And he has no wings. He looks very scared."

"Wow," blinked Em, looking down at Luun. "That was easy." Luun whimpered something that might have been a word of agreement, but might have just been a random convulsion.

Em shrugged slightly and made her way around the counter to sit and await Aria's return.

"A painting of me? I'm quite flattered..." No one had ever done a painting of her before, but then too, it never occured to her that maybe the fact that she was a rather new face around here might have something to do with that.

Looking up towards the one called 'Em', Reneeka offered her own greetings. "Hello there." She was curious as well to know what was cupped in Em's hands, but didn't know if she should investigate. By the way the hands were held, it appeared that the person was protecting, in some way shape manner or form, whatever was in them. That alone told Rene that maybe she should just stay where she was, and she'd find out eventually, maybe.

Aria's zipping out of the room barely caught the brightly colored feien's attention though, as Hitomi returned to them. "A little boy? Very scared? Oh the poor thing!" Reneeka could sympathize with being really scared. She herself had been quite... frightened when she first came to the shop. "I do hope he's alright..."

Aria returned within a few minutes, actually exhausted. She had gotten home, explained things in a complete rush to Ian, then headed back out. Ian wasn't far behind her.Once she set down on the counter, he buzzed in. Aria's excitement had gotten to him as well. His heart was pounding so hard, he was sure everyone could hear it.

He landed down beside Aria, who was in the process of hugging Maq once again.
"I''m going to have blooms!" she cried.

Ianios smirked. "Well, I'm here." He smiled at Em and waved. "Howdy!" He had heard from Aria on the flight over that she was shop owner and she could help them breed. It was finally happening. He hoped Cel was alright with this, where ever he was.

The mentioning of breeding was vaguely interesting to Kojak, never mind the response in brought out of Aria and the speed in which she disappeared. Of course, it was something he only thought about briefly before turning to look at Hitomi and Reneeka.

"Yes, it was bright, like you." Kojak grinned, looking at Hitomi as she touched back down and shared the information about which Em was hiding within her hands. Another feien? Another young boy like himself? Protecting him from them perhaps? It seemed that way since he hadn't been revealed and Hitomi mentioned shaking. Speaking of which ...

"Thanks for sharing, Hitomi." Kojak gave her another smile, but his eyes cut back to Em. He didn't know quite else what to say, but he nodded in agreement with Reneeka's words absently. Perhaps he wasn't fond of crowds?

Em smiled at the nearby feien but quickly turned her attention to Luun. "We're all done here, and we'll be back home soon," she murmured, storking Luun's back gently with her thumb. The motion did not seem to reassure him in the slightest.

Maq laughed and returned Aria's hug. "That's right! And I couldn't think of a better pair for it."

Aria grinned, smiling. "Thanks, Maq!" She hovered up a bit and kissed him. Then turning to Em, she grinned. "We're ready!"

Ianios nodded. "As we'll ever be!" he added, smiling.

"Breeding. Wow, Mamma said I shouldn't talk about that until I was older. This should be interesting." Her eyes wandered around as she blushed a bit.

"I did a painting of you Reneeka, but I left it at home. Maybe I'll bring it by next time and leave it here so I don't forget it again. And I'll write my address on the back so you can keep it and not forget. I forget a lot of stuff too so it's okay." After seeing Aria zip out and then quickly return with the plant boy she smiled. This must be the one she was blooming with.

"Well, let's head out then," said Em, standing back up and heading for the door. "Nice to see everyone! Have a nice day!" She would have waved, but to do so would deprive Luun of some of his protection.

Aria and Ianios followed, waving to the others. They couldn't wait for this! Both were grinning widely. "Bye!" called Aria as she flew out behind Em.

Maq waved as Aria left, then turned back to the case. He really needed to get these things for Q and get back, before Tera got to worried.

"Thank you Hitomi. I look forward to seeing it." Reneeka grinned. Zipping by her, Aria came back with Ian, and she offered a small wave, though she figured, by the sound of things, the two were quite busy.

"I feel kind of bad for having forgotten some of your address Hitomi, but I got sidetracked on the way home." The feien chuckled, remembering that she'd had to help get one of her 'feien-sitters' unstuck from a small hole he'd managed to get stuck in.

Seeing Aria, Ian, and Em leaving, she waved again, hoping that the little boy in Em's hands would be alright.

Kojak had a fair idea of what breeding meant, but that he wasn't too sure he kept to himself. After all, he wasn't that old and he didn't know everything -- but that was kept to himself and if he got into trouble because of lack of knowledge? He'd work out of it or learn from it.

Which lead to some interesting thoughts, but Kojak smiled and waved goodbye to Aria and her new friend, as well as to Em and the hidden boy within her hands.

His tail swished a bit, back and forth as he thought, and he smiled again, listening to the other two talk. The last adult left seemed busy trying to get things now and -- address? That reminded him he needed to ask Wren about visiting people in the future.

Reneeka watched as Maq busied himself with getting things, and decided he was best left to what he needed to do. Glancing over to Kojak and Hitomi, both seemed rather quiet. Then too, the entire place seemed rather quiet with the sudden leaving of several bodies. Fidgeting with the end of a braid, Rene wondered what her bond was doing right now. It was getting rather late, Angie would probably be coming by to see if she was around soon. The bright fairy was torn between staying and socializing more, or going home to relieve the probably aching mind of her bond. Such a tough decision...

Raphael entered the store quickly, but not quietly as he flapped through the open window.
He hadn't visited in awhile, so therefore was not so surprised when he spotted three juveniles and an adult he had never seen before.
Quieting down so as not to draw too much attention to himself, the yellow feien steered himself upwards and sideways and landed on the rafters, where a great amount of dust had gathered.

"... what was that?" Kojak twisted around, turning and looking to see where the noise came from. He could've sworn he heard something, except that there was nothing there in the direction he looked.

The shop had pretty much gone silent and he gave a smile to both Hitomi and Reneeka before continuing to look around. He could've sworn he heard something.

Reneeka twitched, tilting her head as she listened around them. Too silent... except for something above them. Little particles of falling dust raining down upon her alerted the brightly colored feien to something around them. "Hello? Is anyone there?"

Zero would seriously be mad, but at this point, Ryuusei didn't really care : She needed a breath of fresh air, and it was the only other place she knew. So she escaped by a window and flew all the way from the appartment to the shop, zipping into it and welcoming the warmth. God, it was COLD. She tightned the blue scarf she wore, even if she was inside.

She inched in, not really expecting that there would be alot of people, after all there hadn't the other times she had came. Well, so much for peace and sillence...

She glanced up at the rafters, spotting a golden feien. Blinking, she fluttered up.

"Is this a private rafter, or is there room for one more ?" She asked, a small smile inching on her face in dispice it all.

Raphael panted slightly, partly from exhaustion at having flown so far, and partly from relief at not having been seen.
Err, except he had been seen.
He looked up at the yellow feien, first surprised, and then embarassed as he quickly stood up, the beginnings of a blush appearing on his face.
His face looked confused at her question, but he attempted an answer.
"W-well..I think the rafter b-belongs to the shop..." He paused, "Sure."
He extended his hand, as he remembered it being the polite thing to do.
"My n-name is Raphy- err, Raphael."

Kojak was about to join Reneeka in looking up before the door to the shop entered and Wren appeared in the doorway. "Sit. Stay. Do NOT bite any passerbys. I swear, what got into you today, Ripper?" Wren had gotten the collar and lead he had mentioned, but apparently the collar was in a bag he was carrying and the lead was dangling from where it hung around his neck. "Kojak?" he called.

"Just a moment!" Kojak responded before quickly turning to look at Reneeka. "It was nice to meet you. Maybe we'll meet again in the future? I've got to go, though." He gave her a smile and another to Hitomi that carried a wink. "And I think I may come visit you, Hitomi." He spoke, giving them both a wave as his goodbye and making his way over to Wren. He landed on the man's shoulder and quickly started to speak into his ear as they left -- totetsu in tow.

Ryuusei blinked, not really understanding why he was so nervous. Did she look like a demon from hell or something ? o_O

"Ryuusei." She answered, shaking his hand. "Pleased to meet you."

She fluttered and sat on the rafter, glancing downward. The view from here was pretty cool.

He gave a meek smile and sat down as well, causing more dust to fly about as his wings stirred it up. He looked at it curiously as it spun about.
And felt an odd tingling sensation in his nose.
Strange! He frowned slightly. It was horribly uncomfortable. He tried to ignore it, but it wouldn't go away...he clutched at his nose, wondering if he could smother it out, when, suddenly -
"ACHOO~!" He sneezed. Feien-sized dust particles and mucuous shot from his nose, and (luckily enough) into his hand.
His blush deepened.

Reneeka nodded, smiling warmly at Kojak. "It was also quite nice to meet you as well." Glancing towards the window at the outside she gasped slightly. "I should get headed home. I'm sure we'll see each other again sometime. Perhaps soon. See you later!" Turning to Hitomi, Rene waved apologetically.

"As much as I hate to, I should go. My companion probably wonders where I'm at, as I didn't say I'd be gone quiet this long. It was good to see you again! Have a safe trip home!" With that, the fairy shot out the door like she'd been launched from a slingshot. Homeward bound, boy did she ever have some adventures to tell Angie!

Cast: Reneeka - Feien Fairy
Kellen - Boundless Child
Ryuuen - Guardian of Gaia kitling
Talina - Lunec girl
Seiteki - puri
Angie (player of them all x.x)

Upon the bed they all sat; the fox-girl, the deer-boy, the guardian kitling, and the tiny fairy; each in their own way sharing about their favoritie moments together. Pictures lay strewn about the bed between them all, held up from time to time to help identify the particular situation the "speaker" was trying to relay. Extravagent hand/paw/hoof gestures passed between them, sometimes as effective as any words could be. Paper and crayons were also splayed around the bed, for those who wanted to draw their stories, instead of the other options.

Ryuuen started the whole thing off, as Angie recalled, by bringing the pictures and paper over to the bed. Angie'd brought them over to the Manor in which Kellen stayed, so they could spend some time together. Being as it was raining, going outside to play and explore was out of the question, so they'd all trundled up to the room to find something to do. Being the curious kit he was, Ryu had instantly found the pictures that Angie stored here so she could show them off, since hardly anyone visited her house, (for obvious reasons. She was hardly ever there, choosing to spend more time out and about with others.) Bringing the smallish box of pictures to the bed, the kit flapped his wings, noticibly grunting with the effort to get the box up on the bed. Once he made that feat though, he sat on his rump and with his paws, flipped the lid open and turned the box upside down. This brought a gasp and a startled stare from Angie.

"Ryuuen SilverShadow! What on EARTH do you think you're doing?!" This turned the heads of the other scampering members of the family, each in turn rushing to the bed to peer over the edge. Oooo looked like someone was in trouble noooww.....

Ryuuen simply pointed at the pictures and held up a pawful. His head tilted to the side, looking at Angie as if to say 'I have an idea. Can we play?' Various colored eyes turned from Ryuuen to Angie, then back again in anticipation of what was to come. The puri, boundless child, feien, and lunec girl all waited with baited breath, for a scolding. Each were pretty pleased it wasn't them going to be the ones getting in trouble. However, Angie surprised them all by simply chuckling and scooping some scattered photos out of the way, before sitting down.

"Alright everyone. Gather up on the bed. We've got a lot of pictures here, and plenty of ideas with which to use them. So, who's got some ideas?" Ang wagged her tail slowly, allowing the others to tumble, fly and hop their way up on the king-sized bed. Almost immediately after they were all settled, each and every one of them started chittering about their own ideas. Reneeka, the feien, wanted to make a slideshow, as she'd never seen one of those before. The lunec, Talina, wanted to make a big picture out of all the others, maybe cover the wall with them. Seiteki, the puri, looked to his companion and close friend Ryuu for guidance as to what to choose. The boundless deer-boy simply wanted to stare at certain pictures, and began making a pile of "his" pictures. One's he didn't want anyone else to have. The poor thing was still longing for the cold of snow to fall once more.

Ryuuen skittered off the bed though, and pulled out a drawer in a nightstand next to it. Inside had been some paper, coloring books and crayons that Angie'd bought to use for art projects. It was these that the little kitling took out, holding them tightly to his chest with his little paws as he fluttered back up onto the bed and flopped down beside Angie once more. Holding these tools out, he pointed to the pictures, then back to the art supplies. Angie wasn't understanding though, and neither were most of the guardian's peers. What was the kit wanting to do? It took a few moments for the puri to understand his own best friend even, but when he did, he was eager to share with the rest of them.

"Ryu wants to tell stories with the pictures and the paper. Of stuff we've been through, together." Seiteki proudly puffed up, curling his tail around himself as he translated Ryuu's silence into words. It was a wonder how those two got along, but it seemed like they perfectly understood each other.

This idea, of course, appealed to everyone, even Kellen, so Angie had no choice but to laugh and nod her head. "Alright alright. Sounds like a good idea. Who wants to start though?" Everyone started hopping around, wanting to go first, but Angie looked towards the purple kit, and smiled fondly down at him, before pulling him into her arms. "Would you like to go first little one, since it was your idea?" This elicted an excited nod from Ryuuen, who quickly skittered to the middle of the bed, despite the pictures that were there, scattering them into everyone else before he plopped his plump little butt down. It wasn't but moments later that the story appeared to be in full swing. Holding up pictures of his egg, and Seiteki's egg from before they were hatched, Ryuu pointed to himself, then Seiteki, then crossed his fingers. Seiteki took up the initiative to do his best to translate the silent kit's story.

"Ever since Sei and I were eggs, we were good friends." Ryuu rummaged through the pile, then held up another picture, of Seiteki when he'd hatched, curled up around his egg basket, as if to keep him warm. "Even though he came out of the egg before me, we still were very close." The purple kit looked towards Seiteki and threw his arms around the puri's neck, catching him offguard and sending them tumbling back towards the pillows. A moment later, Seiteki disentangled himself from Ryuu, laughing. "I guess that means that we're still best friends even now." To which Ryuu nodded his head exuberantly.

"Wow, pretty story Ryuu, good job!" Angie pulled both Seiteki and Ryuuen into her lap as best she could, and snuggled them both. Turning to the rest of the group, the fox-girl laughed, pointing to the pictures. "So, who's next?" The middle of the bed was dogpiled by the other little one's instantly. "Alright alright! Let's see..... I'm thinking of a number between....1 and....15. Closest guess gets next shot. Sound fair?" Everyone seemed pretty up to that idea.

"Umm... 10." Reneeka piped up.

"4! Please!" squeaked Talina. It was a miracle she even got the word out period, considering how absolutely hyper she was, combined with the fact that she was concentrating on crossing everything she owned for luck. Her legs, fingers, eyes, arms, toes, everything..

"Me...8!" Kellen's whisper was barely heard as he continued to dig through the pictures at his feet to find his special ones.

Turning to Seiteki, Angie smiled. "Which number would you like?"

"I'd like 13 please..." The puri was rather bashful, obviously nervous of his turn coming up, which Angie noted instantly.

"And the closest number is thir...er...ten. Rene, it's your chance!" The number she'd picked was 12, but considering Seiteki's visible nervousness, she figured it'd be better to not make him go quite yet. Let him get a few more ideas, and a bit more comfortable with it first, right? "What kind of story or memory do you have to share with us, Rene?" Reaching out her hand, the fox-girl held it out as a platform for the tiny feien.

Reneeka, being the diva she was obviously born to be, took the chance to shine and hopped up on Angie's hand. "Well, I suppose my story will be about...." Pausing for a moment, tangerine eyes glanced over the pictures below them, looking for something to tell. Although she'd wanted to go next, it hadn't hit her that it'd be good to have something on hand to tell about. One picture caught her eye though, and she struggled to lift the paper up since it was as tall as she was, and wider than her wingspan, more than ackward to hold onto. The feien was rather relieved when Angie took the picture from her and held it up for all to see. The image was of the pretty orange caged butterfly Rene had requested on her shopping trip. "Remember when my butterfly arrived, and our pixa-kitty friends all tried to climb into the cage to get at it? I remember that quite well!" Fluttering around in a zig-zag happy action, holding her hands out and gesturing largely to emphasize the severity of her words.

"I was so mad! If any of the cats had gotten my butterfly, I don't know what I would have done. The fact that they could climb up the cage stand surprised me so much. I just can't believe it even now. Thank goodness for sturdy cages!" Rene looked so completely serious, it was hard not to break into laughter.

And while the fairy was thusly occupied with her story, Kellen mischievously slid some of the paper and a couple of the crayons towards himself and ducked down to work on something. It appeared that he was drawing his own story, though because of the position he took, it was hard to see what exactly he was doing. All the while, Rene related about how sore she was about the fact that her precious butterfly had nearly been kitty-chow. She was joking mostly, dramatizing the whole situation for the simple reason of making a story. It didn't take long for Kel's work to be noticed though, before he was through.

Squealing unhappily, the feien pointed at Kellen's picture. "Look at what he's drawing! He's trying to make fun of me! Really he is! Aaaannnnngggiiiieeee make him stooooop!" It was this final outburst that set everyone to laughing. "Haha! Bu'fy go bybye!" Kellen obviously enjoyed torturing whoever he could at the time. A little monster he was becoming.

Angie couldn't help but fall over onto the pillows laughing. "Oh come now guys. Can't we all get along?" A resounding "NO" was spoken in unison despite the giggles and fits of laughter that broke out all around the 'circle'. "Alright alright. Kellen was only playing around, Reneeka. Weren't you Kel?" Turning her gaze towards the deer-boy, Ang winked his way, giving him the silent message that he wasn't in trouble. He got it, and nodded solemnly, as if she'd scolded him harshly. "Okay. And Reneeka, you know that the kitties weren't going to eat your butterfly and things turned out alright. Right?" Reneeka in turn, nodded. "Then we're alright and happy and ready to move on. Right?"

"RIGHT!" unison was the answer yet again.

"Who's turn is it now? Did we decide who went next? How about you Kel? Since you're in the mood to tease and play." Tugging the little boy onto her lap, Ang gathered the small pile of pictures he'd claimed. "Are these the pictures you want to use for your story sweetie?" A small nod came from the little boy, as he grabby handed for the pictures, then fumbled through them to find the right one. The picture he chose was the one of him and the others around a rather largish snowman.

"Dis...'now. Fun fun. 'now...man an' Wuuu, an' Eeka. Ann'ie! 'Now, 'now!" It was hard to follow the little deer's lack of sentence structure, but since they all knew about the vacation and such, they could pretty well guess what he was saying. 'This is snow. It was quite fun. Here's the snowman Ryuu, Reneeka and Angie helped me make. Snow! Snow! I want the snow...' Those who'd been on the vacation with Kellen nodded slowly, agreeing with the little guy. The snow had been fun and was a great time together. They all wished for the time and chance to do it all again, but none as much as Kellen himself. Sniffling softly, the little deer cuddled the pictures to himself. "'Now....'now...want 'now..."

"Aww sweetie..." Hugging the little boy close, Ang motioned all of them to come closer and snuggle the little boy. To let him know they all understood and loved him, and that it would be okay. Each one of them gently wrapped their paws, hands, or whatever else they had around the group in sympathy. "It's alright Kel. We all want the snow too. I never seen it 'cept in your pictures, but I think its awesome. You have to show me someday, ok?" Talina spoke up, wanting to comfort her brother. "It's alright buddy. We'll see it again. Don't worry, okay?" Seiteki did his best to help comfort, although he wasn't entirely sure what to say. Ryuuen simply hugged them all, and Reneeka kept silent as well, not sure what of what to say.

It was a moment or two before Kellen was able to lift his head and nod meekly, slightly embarrassed that everyone had seen him nearly cry. It was another moment or so before he could sit up, being crushed to Angie's chest effectively by those who loved him. "Alright. So who's next? 'Lina, how about you? Sound good?" By choosing another one to go, Angie hoped to lighten the mood and get everyone happy again.

"Sure! But I don't see pictures I wanna use. I'll tell though, ok?" Rewarded with a nod, Talina continued. "Ok. I 'member when I was brung home. A baby. You all seemed nice to me, and cared for me. It made me feel good. Wanted. I thank you all." Talina wandered around the bed, giving each and every one of them a hug and peck on the cheek. "Thank you muches!" Laughing softly, the little lunec plunked back down in her spot, looking towards Angie to see if she was done. "Thank you 'Lina! That was sweet of you!" Clapping happily, Angie turned to Seiteki.

"And last, but certainly not least, your turn Sei. Do you have a story for us?" The puri froze in his movement, unsure of if he heard right. He-he-his turn? "I uhh....." Something dawned on him. "My story is right here, right now. Each of your stories meant a lot to hear. I wasn't....sure of going at first. I didn't mind helping Ryuu out in his, but I wasn't sure about what to do for my own. But listening to all of you... I decided that my story would be right now. This is the best story I could dream to tell. Having fun, listening to everyone as they talk about their favorite memories and such. It makes me feel- oh I don't know. All warm and fuzzy inside?" Seiteki blushed underneath his white fur. It wasn't often that he expressed himself in such ways, but when he did, it was truely heartfelt.

"Aww sweetie. That's one of the sweetest things I've heard." The fox-girl was near tears by now. Each of their stories had touched her deeply. They were her family, and sharing special points about their life to each other and herself.... It made her feel rather special at that moment in time. Something she hadn't been feeling lately. "All your stories were wonderful little ones. Thank you so much for telling them." Holding her arms out, she invited them all onto the pillows with her. Each and every one of their eyes were beginning to droop, the sound of the rain on the windows a dull hypnotic sound lulling them all to sleep. "A nap sounds good right about now...doesn't it guys?" Murmurs of agreement fluttered across the group as they snuggled together. There'd be time later to tell more stories, but for now, a nice nap was just what the doctor ordered.

Each fell asleep, one after another until finally there was Angie, still slightly awake. Opening her eyes for a moment, she smiled. "Sleep well little ones...." And with that her eyes closed a final time, her body succumbing to the feeling of tiredness and bliss that had claimed her companions. With any luck the rain would stop sometime while they slept and the sun would peek out, drying things up before they woke up. So they could all go out and play for a while....

Angie''s Entry
I feel bad....lately it''s been a lot of bad luck going around with us. First a fire as we were in the middle of moving from our home to our new gaian home.... Then I came down with the flu.. then a flood of sorts. I myself have been suffering from lack of ambition to write anything, nor have I been keeping up on much. I''m such a bad caretaker...

''Neeka has been doing as best she can to help me and although she''s small she''s been a great help. Her cool thinking and calm demeanor lately has helped to keep my sanity.

(the entry pauses here...a few lines skipped and a different color ink resuming, indicating a lapse in time between writing)

Quote:
I suppose, since I''ve been very delinquint in my updates, that I should explain what has happened. A few weeks ago, when Aekea opened up with the new housing, we all went down to arrange for getting a new home. The one we''d been living in was so small, and despite the fact that we don''t always live at home... I figured we could do with a new one anyway. That went well, I got some minor furniture to decorate the new home with, and had shifted a lot of our stuff over from old to new house, but somehow, in the middle of the our moving, a fire broke out at our old home...

No one was hurt, we really didn''t lose much, but it was rather stressful. As far as anyone can tell, someone dropped their cig outside near our old home, which started some winter dried grass on fire, in turn starting our home as well. Rene almost lost her butterfly, but I managed to get the cage out before the fire got out of control. A few of the journals were ruined, including this one, but thank goodness I''d backed them up on the computer.

After that, and after we''d moved into the new home completely, I came down with the flu.. Completely run down, confined to bed, unable to get up and do much of anything, the works. It sucked pretty bad, don''t think I''ve been that sick in quite a while.. Just recently got over that too, finally feeling like myself again. Now I''m having issues with computer troubles, which are soaking up time because I want to cure them before I lose any files, and on top of that, there was a flood in the house the other day... So I''ve been cleaning up from that too. It''s been one hassle after another, and I just don''t know how to deal with it. That''s where Reneeka comes in. She understands like no one has been able to, and has been able to listen to my ranting. Lately we''ve spent long nights trying to sort out what''s happened, how to get past it all and help the others try and get through it.

It''s getting late... I''ll have to update more later... right now I''m kinda tired and it''s been a long day. Plus it''s nearly dinner time, and I''m sure everyone''s hungry.

New Friends and Useful Warnings... Shop Rp

Silva
Aleric
Reneeka

Silva headed through the door of the shop, glancing over his shoulder to glare at the male following him. He waited until they were inside to land on the floor, motioning for the other feien to follow. Aleric nodded, dropping down so they were facing.

"So..." Aleric said. "This is the part where you kill me when Ice isn't around, then claim it was an accident, right?"

"Lucky for you, I'm not that good a liar." Silva said, chewing on his toothpick. He looked around, wondering idly if anyone else would come in.

Then Silva took the staff he had over his shoulder, untying the bundle at the end, then tossing the staff to Aleric. Aleric blinked, but caught it.

"What--"

"That's a staff. Look at it, figure out how to get your own, because I won't give you mine. Then tell my boys--"

"Nick and Nack?" Aleric interrupted.

"Yeah." Silva said. "Get a staff then go into Ice's room."

The little fairy flitted in and out of her bond's sash, excited that she was out and about again. After the days they'd been having, it just wasn't a day fit to be inside doing nothing. Reneeka had asked Angie if she could drop her off at the shop, and since Angie had some errands to run, she didn't have a problem with it.

The door was just in view, and it was there that Angie let Rene dash off on her own. A smile wafted across the fox-girl's face before she turned and headed off towards town, whistling a soft tune to herself.

'Neeka glanced through the window, then bounced through the door, only stopping once she touched ground on a table. Once there, bright tangerine colored eyes glanced around to see if she was alone, a habit she'd picked up around her own home.

Silva turned first, making Aleric turn as well. Aleric smiled. "Hello there." He called calmly, making Silva snort and glance back at him. But the taller male said nothing, merely watched to see what the girl would do.

Peering over the edge of the table, Rene smiled and waved. "Hello there, both of you!" Neither of them looked familiar, not in the least, so she did her best to stay calm although she was rather hyper at the moment. She wanted to make a good first impression, and it wouldn't do to appear like a ping-pong ball bouncing all over the place.

Aleric nodded, taking to the air, the staff still in his hand as he headed for the young female. Silva cursed, then followed, eyeing the female for a second. He had never met her before, and doubted Aleric had, either. But if the old man wanted to talk...

"My name is Aleric. And yours?" Aleric asked, landing on the table and offering his hand.

Idly Silva wondered if he would do this with everyone he met, or just the pretty females.

Reneeka took Aleric's hand. "My name is Reneeka. Pleased to meet your aquaintence." She curtesyed as best she could, a manner she picked up from late night movie fests with Angie.

The one who spoke appeared to be quite pleasant. The other one, she didn't quite know what to make of. "A nice day to be out and about, isn't it?" She lightly commented about the weather, still hoping to make a good impression on them both.

"It is." Aleric replied, glancing over at Silva. Silva grunted, finally dropping down on the table next to the other male. "A good day for meeting people."

Silva bit back a laugh. This was entertaining for some reason. "Some days are better for that than others." He drawled lightly, making Aleric bite back a smile.

"And some people are better to meet than others." Aleric replied, dryly. Silva actually laughed at that one.

Nodding, Reneeka cast a glance towards Silva. He looked rather irritated for some reason, though she couldn't tell why. She hoped she hadn't interrupted anything. "Most days are good for meeting people, at least to me. Especially since I don't know very many people."

Rene tilted her head at the exchange between the two, before continuing. "I don't believe that I've had the ...pleasure of your name." Glancing towards the taller male, the girl wondered if that'd get him to relenquish it, or if he would be a grumpy sort and ignore her.

"His name is Silva. He's a little... irritable today, don't mind him." Aleric replied before Silva could respond. "You see, we just met today, as well."

Silva looked thoughtful as he spoke, then shrugged. "Except instead of a day, we're expected to share a lifetime." He added, scowling slightly.

"True, with the same bomdnmate that is somewhat expected..." Aleric said, glancing over. "But I must admit, I prefer females."

"You're not the only one." Silva drawled, then gave the little girl a crooked smirk. "So what are you out to do today, little darlin? Some shopping?"

Slightly amused, the delicate fairy again watched the exchange between the two rather thoughtfully. They appeared to her, almost exactly like brothers from a movie she and her bondmate had watched.

"Nice to meet you as well Silva." She smiled and extended her hand out towards him, although something told her she probably shouldn't. "You share the same bondmate? I can't imagine what that'd be like. I'm the only feien Angie has, though I wonder what it'd be like with another around..." She mused on that thought for a moment before answering Silva's question.

"Actually, my bondmate did say I could do some shopping if I found anything I liked, so I suppose I am shopping. Though I'm mainly here to get out of the house. What about you guys?"

Silva looked at the hand, then moved his toothpick slightly, not taking it. He wasn't big on the hand shaking thing. Aleric rolled his eyes. "Silva was about to tell me something." He said, to distract her from Silva's rudeness.

"Right. I'm about to skip out." Silva said, looking over at Aleric. "And I want you to learn to fight while I'm gone. Ask the boys to show you the staff routine."

Aleric nodded. He would have asked why, had the little girl not been there. He was pretty sure the answer wouldn't be fit for innocent ears.

Then Silva glanced at the girl. "You know how to fight?"

"Right.." She saw Silva's reaction to her hand and quickly pulled it back. This one made her slightly nervous, for some reason. "Actually... I don't. But I know how to sing! ..Er..sort of." Oh yeah Rene, good comeback. What are you gonna do? Knock him over with your voice? Highly unlikely.. Fidgeting in place for a moment longer, Rene pondered what to say next. There was just something about this other fairy, this Silva, that made her feel all uneasy as he looked at her. She wasn't quite sure why. But the way the other fairy handled him, as if the snide comments didn't matter, gave her strength. Straightening up, she decided she wouldn't be bothered by Silva's gruffness. She had a feeling it was more of an act than anything anyway.

Aleric glanced over at Silva. "You scare little children." He stated.

"Hell, you think I haven't noticed? Did it even when I was a kid." Silva replied, rolling his eyes slightly. "Listen up darlin, because I don't tell many people this. No matter who you are a little self defense is a good thing."

"Especially when you live with a guy like you, correct?" Aleric asked, earning a slight nod.

"Hell yeah." Silva said, walking over to him. Aleric raised an eyebrow. There was more to this conversation than warning a little girl. "You want to aim for the hot spots if someone is threatening you. Stomp on his feet, headbut him in the gut... I'd tell you the higher stuff but I'm not sure you could reach." He pointed it out on Aleric.

Aleric coughed. He didn't want to laugh because it might hurt her feelings. "She could always fly."

She tilted her head, pondering Silva's words. "Self defense... Like being able to kick someone's butt if need-be?" Watching Silva's pointing, she nodded carefully. "It would be nice to know how to defend myself, in case something happened..." Not that anything would, but there were always the 'what ifs' in life.

As if to emphasize Aleric's words, Reneeka floated up into the air to become eye-level with Aleric. Her reply came with a slightly sarcastic tone. "You mean, up here?"

Silva smirked. "The throat, anything on the face, the ears, and between the two places..." He motioned to his own diaphragm, just below the ribs. "Right under the ribs. That's the place you want to kick."

Aleric glanced over. "Teaching a little girl to hit someone in the throat?"

"If she can't run..." Silva said calmly, shrugging. "Then she should fight dirty."

"True, but only if she CAN'T run." Aleric said, looking thoughtful. "If you can run, you should." He told her, matter-of-factly. "And screaming comes in handy."

Nodding, she listened to both of them. Both had their points, she'd seen both ways done in the movies, both proving successful. But she'd never thought that she might need to know them, to survive in this world.

"Alright. So I try and run first, scream if possible, and if that doesn't work, kick butt. Sounds like a good plan to me." She didn't sound quite as confident as the words implied, but she did understand what was being told to her.

They looked at each other, and Silva finally shrugged. "Darlin, there aren't that many scary feien around. Hell, I'm probably one of the scariest. And I have a weak spot for pretty ladies. But if you ever run into a lady named Sunil--" He stopped, shaking his head. "Nah, you wouldn't interest her."

Aleric looked thoughtful. What Silva had told the little one was actually useful advice. That surprised him. But it did go along with his belief that Silva wasn't a complete monster. Just a little twisted. But the comment about the lady named Sunil--

"Who's Sunil?" Aleric asked, making Silva jerk slightly.

"The one that taught me that hold I showed you earlier. First hand."

Aleric jerked. "When?"

"When I was younger than this little darlin."

By the way Silva spoke and acted of this 'Sunil' person, she didn't seem like a very pleasant sort at all. Though Reneeka would have to find out first hand, since that's the way she was. But she did make note of the physical and vocal discomfort the taller male expressed when speaking of her. If someone like him, as callous as he was, could react like that about someone else...it didn't bode well.

"Could you beat her now?" Aleric asked, calmly.

"Yeah. I could." Silva replied, shrugging. "Now I should get going." He said, taking the staff from Aleric and dropping off the table to get the rest of his stuff. "Learn to fight by the time I get back, old man. I need a taller sparring partner." He turned, heading for the tunnel to Yanvir's place and disappearing before Aleric could respond.

"He's... Huh..." Aleric said, looking thoughtful. Then he turned to Reneeka, smiling. "Nice to meet you. I should get going, though." He said, heading for the edge of the table.

The mention of leaving brought Rene out of listening mode. "Bye...." Her words trailed off as Silva abruptly just left. Well, she shouldn't have expected any different from him. He was a strange character though, that was for sure. Tilting her head, she watched him disappear down the tunnel she didn't think she'd known existed. Turning back to Aleric, the fairy nodded.

"Indeed, I should probably get going myself. It was very nice to meet you Aleric. I hope to meet up with you again sometime. Good luck in whatever you're going to do." Smiling, the small girl waved as he headed for the edge, cheery in her goodbye.

Her bond would be back soon and she hadn't gotten around to looking at the stuff she could buy... A final wave to Aleric, then Reneeka turned away, pondering to herself what all Angie had said for her to get...

Reneeka sighed, fiddling around with a tiny scrap of paper she'd stolen off of one of Angie's notebooks. Folding it, back and forth back and forth, not necessarily trying to make anything of it, just seeing how many times she could fold it before it was either too thick to fold again, or too tiny to even try.

Litte did the tiny fairy know, but Angie was sneaking in behind her, with a small box. A present for her feien friend. Angie's ears twitched, and she felt a sneeze coming on... so much for surprises.. "Hey..Rene..." AaaaaaachhoooOO!!!! Angie winced as Reneeka nearly jumped out of her skin before turning around to look at her. "Hi Angie, didn't know you were back there..." Angie nodded, chuckling softly. "You've been looking kind of down lately, lonely... And I know haven't been as attentive lately... So I got you a present..." The fox-girl set the box on the table next to the fairy and waited. The box vibrated momentarily, then lay still again.

Reneeka tilted her head, wondering what on earth could be in there... "A present? For me? I...thank you..." Her bond nudged her gently. "Go on, open it." Only a second more of hesitation, then Reneeka quickly rushed over to the box and pushed the lid off. Inside she found two gorgeous pixa cats, one smaller than the other. "OH my!!! They're gorgeous!!!!" Reneeka was torn between dashing up and hugging Angie's neck, or pulling the pixacats out. She choose the latter. Lifting the pretty golden tabbies out of their box, mewing and meowing happily, Reneeka examined them both. "Hmm..Female..." a pause, then, "Raina...Yes, Raina shall be her name." The second was lifted out. "A little boy...how about... Aarin." Happy purring ensued as she cuddled both cats to her, then looked up at Angie. "They're so gorgeous. Thank you so much Angie." A happy grin floated across the fairy's face, pasted there for all to see.

"I'm glad sweetie. I was hoping you'd like them." Yaay! Angie'd made a good choice! And Reneeka was happy with them, which was the whole point. "Your first pixas.... you realize these little guys are addicting, right?" Ang giggled at the hyper nod she was given in answer. "Why don't you go set them up in your room? I'll work on getting a litter box for them, same as I've set up for my swarm, and we'll make sure to snatch them some treats as well. Alright?"

"Sounds good Angie," the feien grinned happily, more than overjoyed at her new aquisition. Snuggling the two cats, Reneeka fluttered towards her room, more of a corner in Angie's room where she listened to music and such. Angie'd set up some cardboard boxes for now...and made a little home of it, eventually she'd build something more permanent for the fairy. But for now, Reneeka was quite pleased with it, and had spruced it up quite nicely. It was here that she set her new charges, her very own pixacats. "Welcome home, Raina and Aarin... hope you like it here." Again, she was greeted with happy purrs and mewls. It was the beginning of a WONDERFUL friendship.

Life had gotten busy around the household. Reneeka was far from forgotten, in fact doted upon, but hardly had much of a moment to call her own, these days. Nearly endless days of playing around with the pixacats and going with Angie on trips to the store for gorcery shopping and various music store raids filled up her time. She and Angie had talked about maybe creating a music journal, seeing as she absolutely adored music most of all, and it looked like, soon Angie would be able to set it up.

Currently though, the fairy was curled up around her two companions, Raina and Aarin, fast asleep next to one of the ear buds to Angie's mp3 player, which was quietly playing some soft country music.
