((Oki, I shall send you the PM as soon as I send this post.))
The lithe, lavender form of a lioness padded as quietly as the rustle of the tall grass would allow her.
Made lean by a whole season of nothing but scavenging, her meals had depended on the ability of the young lioness to drive off hyenas for a while.
Upon poking her head from the blades of grass and into what was a drier land, the scent of a male reached her nostrils. She knew she had just trespassed on a border. Usually, she would have turned away, but the scent was familiar somehow...
She treaded on with caution, and decided to call before she surprised whomever lived here. "Hello?", she looked around for signs of movement "If anyone can hear me, please don't hurt me! I don't mean any harm...!"
She paused to see if her voice had reached anyone.

(('kay))
A farmiliar sound, one from his past, woke Rackna with a start. Where did he recognise that voice from? He stood clumsily, still half asleep, and looked about, eyes half-lidded. He stretched quickly, and shook his head back and forth to wake up, golden mane rippling. He began to walk about, closer to the Elephant grass boarder, in hopes of finding this mysterious voice's owner.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a splash of lavender against the dark green background. He cocked an eyebrow and turned to face the unusual colored blur. When he found out who it was, his face lit up joyfully.
"Taifa?"

Taifa's ears perked up immediatly. Sharp ultramarine gaze on the lion who stood at a distance. She almost said the name as it came to her instantly, but she refused to believe it.
It was him! The little cub was now a lion...
"Rackna..."
She started at a trot as soon as she saw his pleasant expression. Her caution was greatly diminished, she broke into a run, smiling at how amusing fate was.
"I can't believe it's you!"

"Taifa!"
He called out, as if he couldn't believe it was her. He trotted up to greet her halfway, rising on his hind legs in a playful pose.
"I haven't seen you in forever!"
He exclaimed, dropping back down on all fours. His multi-colored eyes glittered joyfully, his tail swishing back and forth quickly, as if all his nervous energy was about to explode through the tip of his feathers.
"What have you been up to?"
He asked, cocking an eyebrow.

She pawed at him playfully as soon as she was close enough. The lioness bounced like a cub, but soon enough remembered that if it was his scent on the borders, the he must be king of this land.
She quickly bowed, feeling an odd sense of pride in the energetic little cub she once knew.
At his question, though, her ears drooped a little.
"I guess my lost memories were calling to me, but I failed to find anything that really mattered..."
She didn't spend a lot on this mood, and brightened when she surveyed him carefuly. "Look at you know...king of a pride already. Where has the time gone..." She laughed softly, feeling old.
Taifa nodded to herself and stated rather seriously. "Sire, I will request to join your pride. I am a good huntress. If your lionesses don't think I'm good enough, I can cubsit."
She bowed again, deeply this time "Give me a chance, and I will not disappoint you."

His brow knitted in concern when she spoke about lost memories, but he smiled slightly as she bowed.
"Feels a little strange, doesn't it?"
He asked as she stated her request, as she treated him with respect. No one had ever really given him any feeling of athority, considering his carefree and spontanious nature.
"Of course you may join! Of course!"
He exclaimed, as if she had asked him an obvious question. He chuckled.
"We could use some more pride members around here..."
He muttered, glancing around his barren lands.

Taifa smiled broadly, eyes almost stung with tears of happiness. She finally had a home.
"Thank you, my king." she replied simply, but honestly.
She followed his eyes as he looked over his land. Indeed, it looked quite empty, and she couldn't really know how many subjects he had. She guessed it wasn't a big pride for now, and it suited her just fine.
A sudden thought struck her.
"Your sister, Sire. Is she alright? Is she with you?"

"Oh, Solio?"
He asked dumbly, disoriented for a minute. He came to his senses again, and smiled crookedly.
"She's somewhere around here..."
He said, looking across his lands in hopes to see the spotted blue coat of his sister.
"She might be off hunting, or daydrea-"
He broke off mid-sentance when some Elephant grass close by rustled, and a bright blue head appeared, a jackrabbit in her mouth.
Solio's azure eyes widened as she spotted the light purple lioness beside her brother. She dropped the dead critter in the sand and gracefully weaved through the sharp grass.
"Taifa?! Is that you?"
She asked, as if she couldn't believe, that after all these years, fate should bring Taifa back.

This day is twice blessed." she thought, as she ran to greet the other lioness, very aware of how much time must have passed to make them both grow like that.
She grinned, giddy, and stood on her legs in a playful attempt to wrestle her. She laughed like she hadn't in a long time.
"I thought I'd never see you again..."

((They certainly can! :3))
Solio returned the giggle as she stood also, playfully wrestling the other lioness.
"So, you're going to join us?"
She asked happily, tail wagging like a dogs.
"It's been so lonely here with just Rackna!"
She said mischeviously, grinning at her brother.

Kichea crouched low as she padded softly though the tall savannah grasses. Voices on the wind reached her sensitive ears, though she couldn't make out what they were saying.
The sunlight glinted off of figures in the distance, and Kichea loped foreward, hoping to run into some familiar faces. A large male and two grown felame made her slow and pause, wondering where she had seen them before. The lavender one she remembered from hunting, and... she had to think harder but then it came to her. The other two were brother and sister... and the last time she saw them they were just little kits. She smiled to herself. How time had flown by... Now if only she could remember their names...
"Hello?" She said timidly as she stepped foreward, making her presence known.
