it depends on what you mean by "winning." personally, i don't consider any outcome of war a "victory."

I agree with you on that. I can't consider any event or course of actions that brings so much destruction and death to so many people (many of whom had no voice in the actions that began the conflict) as having a winner. Well, i guess if there were winners they'd be the people who managed to make it out alive.

You would if you had ever been through a war or had relatives who knew what it was like living every day with the fear of being bombed - then you would be happy if your country won. Sometimes, wars hapen for a reason and all people can do is fight to protect their homes and families. Just because America has never had to fight for it's survival doesn't mean that fighting for your country is pointless. Iraq, however, had no real reason but for Oil.

So does that mean Bush ordered the planes to fly into the Twin Towers on 9/11? Because that's when it stated.
He maybe didn't order them to fly into it but maybe if he knew even the littlest bit of knowledge about religion other than his own I'm sure he'd find out the people who rammed those planes into the towers hated Iraq as much as us so we've technically been killing the wrong people from the start really we've been very basically helping the people that made 9/11 happen by killing their enemies.

And don't say Saddham was a bad man because he used biological warfare to kill a high amount of people and we had to stop him Bush has killed a lot more people in this war than Saddham has and we're still taking casualties so why didn't we stop Bush, oh we're America we're always right oopsies...

Pure simple truth is Bush is a fanatical oil-addicted politician like a lot of them I'm sure if goverment elections were based on how you could help the people rather than A. Are you a devout Christian? B. Do you have enough money to bribe idiots into voting for you? and C. Blowing up enemies of the U.S and grabbing for oil is good right? V know's he's stereotyping and being very angry at the U.S. government but meh, our government doesn't deserve that much credit.

Now, I am not american, but I can find very little good to say about George Bush. As far as I am concerned, that man has gotten far too big for his boots - he preaches about fighting for good and the rest of the world when really all he cares about is goddamn America - a country that refuses to comply with international regulations on polution, has made no attempt to help the environment or prevent climate change, and thinks - however wrongly - that it is the only nation in the world that matters. George Bush went to war in Iraq for oil because our natural depostits are running out. Howeverm having said that, I do not beleive that his views truly represent the american people as a whole, but if he continues to win elections my opinion may soon change.

Well I AM an american and I agree with you on all accounts.......... I am embarrased by my country, and Am totally against Bush. We count down to the day that Bush finally leave office.........

DARK LORD49
he sould just go to school
Schools aren't exactly the most educational places when you look at the criteria in a lot of them and then how they teach it, often in ways that seem useless to real life circumstances.

And I'm pretty sure Bush is a college graduate, going to school doesn't have anything to do with being smart, you could go to school for 20+ years and still have an IQ at double digits.

ok first off about the whole school thing. bush might have been able to bribe other students to give him answers to tests. becuase in schools, every penny counts. and if the presidents found him cheating they probably wouldnt be able to do anything becuase his father might have cut all funding from the school.
second off i recall something a while back where someone bombed the world trade center(s) and we ignored it like the morons we are.
the patriot act is a blatent act of racisim, all they need is a small excuse and they can tap your phone, and they can use any thing against you, say for example your talking about a game and say that the one mission was harrd becuase the soldeirs knew you were coming then they could say that you were planing a terrorists event or some s**t.
as for the war with were currently in, we had no evidese that iraq was in with al-kahda(sorry if i spelt it wrong) all bush saw was a hugh sum of money in the form of oil under that country. so he used the "WMD" excuse to invade.

The Al-queda terrorist group and Iraq although in the fundamentally same religion are enemies due to one being Shiite and the other being Sunni(Note to those unaware of religious dislike against each other let's just say they're as bad as Christians and Islamics in terms of dislike) so not only do they have no ties to each other we're actually doing what the people who bombed us want.

I reckon he is smart and he is using it, and also he is using his father's reputation. He used to be a drinker and then he got better and got a good reputation. Now he's using it and doing all sorts of things that are smart BUT have a huge impact on the world. It could take years to undo what he has done in some places.

I'm gonna give my thoughts on the whole matter, and they're probably much different from what many of you are thinking.

I have mixed feelings on the whole Bush thing. Sure, the war wasn't his BEST idea, and maybe Iraq DIDN'T have weapons of mass destruction, but it's better safe than sorry.
But seeing as how they don't have any weapons, he should have called them out and let Iraq figure out their own damn democracy instead of having America play mommy over there.

And ANYTHING involving Hurricane Katrina a few years ago is complete bull. I live in Louisiana, and I've been to New Orleans often. Most (not all) people there never wanted to help themselves and only made others help them instead. I'll never understand how they made that connection to Bush. sweatdrop
But hey, maybe there's a piece of the story I'm missing.
