Alex jumped into the air and ran from the demon. The demon flew right behind him and was gaining on him. Alex noticed someone at the edge of the ruins and shot up a flair to get their attention. If he could get this to be two on one he would have a better chance. Then Alex felt a claw slash through his back as he went flying through the open air and into the church. He landed at the foot of the cross. The demon stood in the entryway without budging a muscle. he was right. This thing couldnt enter the church.

About halfway after following Ryu’s scent she realized it was stupid. She should be making sure that Edward was alright, that was most important. But she kept on running anyway, never being one to listen to…the common sense that her instincts would occasionally tell her. Edward? Edward?! Are you alright? I’m on my way. You better be alright…This distracted her and when she arrived at the edge of the seemingly never-ending ruins she ran headfirst into one of those large pillar thingies. She shook her head and pawed at it twice before she undizzied herself enough to continue scouting out Ryu. As she sniffed across the ground the hair on her back began to rise. Kiara could track him only a little ways into the ruins, but after that it was like a labyrinth and his traces were nowhere to be found. She stood in the entrance with her hair up, ears back, and teeth barred, growling. I sware to you Ryu, if you lay one paw, or hand, or whatever on him, ever, I will track you down and—kill you…. It was most likely an empty threat cause she most likely wouldn’t be able to do that to him, but she could attempt at keeping him from Edward. That goes for anybody else you try and hurt as well.

Kiara snorted like dogs do when they think they have won. She turned around and froze, cocking her head to the side. Kiara shifted to her human form and took a few steps forward and around the corner, to see Envi there, and she was pretty sure she was crying. "Envi?" She asked quietly, not sure what was wrong with her. She approached her carefully. Kiara's eyes widened when she could smell the tears on her sister's face. "Envi, what's wrong?!" Kiara hugged her tightly, maybe even to tight, then released her, holding her by her shoulders. "It's ok. What happened?! What's wrong?!"

Kiara knew that Envi would rarely ever cry. She was the tough one, the one that usually had to comfort her through things. She bit her lower lip, unsure of what to do for a second, but didn’t let go of her. “Something happened. You should tell me what, so I can help you. It’s ok, no matter what it is, I’ll be there for you ok?” Kiara said gently. Envi smelt like she had been around Emute, Wyatt, Sakura, Takeshio, and Fang. Well, mostly Fang. So that had to have been whom she was with. She went through what could make Envi so upset, and she immediately ruled out that it could have been the fight between her and Sakura. “Did something happen with Fang? But…you don’t have to tell me if you wish not to.”

Takeshio followed the quick air current back at the cemetary that obviously pointed to this direction. He noticed Kiara and Envi but zoomed past them into the ruins. Ryu this is were your maddness stops...

Takeshio stopped dead in his tracks as he saw Ryu "...Ryu-...I've come to put a stop to this madness." He pulled out his white blade in case he'd try anything.

Takeshio glared at Ryu "What do you mean 'new target'? Why would you be going after someone else?" Takeshio looked at him in shock. His healing must be even more powerful than I expected.

"My comrade has betrayed the rest of the black void and has gone mad with power: I think that does have something to do with me." Takeshio became angered when Ryu turned his back to him "How about you look at me.-and what deal was that?"
