A nose kept him going in the right direction. Paws felt the grooves in the ground. He was smiling, truly amused. The humming had become a song. Sung in the language of demons. "Kli'the jiur reqiu hasa nah... Leo'cai kli'the jiur qie unaasa..."

Gunzi swallowed a whine that threatened to bubbled up and burst from his throat. It hurt to move, and he could hear the other male moving closer, his rough voice sending shivers through Gunzis’ body.
Frantic blue eyes roamed the empty terrain before peering over the cliff. Jagged rocks littered the otherwise smooth surface. If he could just climb down… No, he’d be ruined with one misplaced step…
Ears twitching as the voice grew closer, louder; Gunzi tossed all reason out the door. Leaping gently down to one of the uneven ledges he blinked. Perhaps this would be easier than he thought it’d be. And with any luck the others wings were simply for show…

The song ended when his paws came to the cliffs edge. His little pet had taken the harder road down. He hadn't expected that. Good. That would keep him occupied and busy.
Wings spread and he coasted down to the ground. Sat down at the base of the cliff, meeting Gunzi there. "You should ask what kind of prey you are before running. I am quite sincere in saying I won't be harming you, or killing you." One claw ran down the males cheek. "It would be a shame to kill you."

He managed to pull a sneer across his muzzle, operation on pure stubbornness. “ M’not any kind of prey,”
Huffing slightly in defeat Gunzi sank down, ignoring the others touch in favor of letting overworked muscles rest. Eyeing cool metal he opted to keep the artificial claws securely attached in the others presence. He could deal with the slight twinge beneath them.

The flare of fire painted the rocks and trees orange and red. Heat filled the small area. Seeping into exhausted muscles to soothe them. The claw that ran down the others face dropped to touch his paw. Heat spread into Gunzi's paws, helping the muscles relax.

Flinching away slightly as fire blazed a bit brighter, his body relaxed again as nothing more seemed to result from it.
Gunzi hummed slightly in appreciation of the new temperature change, not at all fond of cool weather.
Eyes widened slightly, snatching away his paws from under Raons as metal quickly heated. Had he been in any other company he might’ve laughed at the ridiculousness of it.

The metal cooled as it was seperated from Raon's claw. However, the heat kept coiling and crawling through his paws. Warming him from the inside out, as the heat the demon generated warmed Gunzi from the outside in. "Ga'lic, jiur era to yuihy qeassa."

Gunzi’s ears flattened as Raon’s voices slid over him. Frowning up at the other he opened his mouth before snapping it shut again, rolling the foreign words over in his mind. “ ‘Fraid I don’t speak… whatever that was.”

"Don't worry about it." He chuckled. The male laid down, slipping into a pose of relaxation. His tail flicked lazily about his paws. "I speak my language to remember my home."

Nodding slightly Gunzi focused his attention elsewhere, instead watching the easy sway of the other males tail. His brows furrowed as Raon simply laid there, and he found himself relaxing in the others presence, feeling oddly safe. Or at least not threatened.
Ripping his eyes from the dark tail Gunzi turned his head away, a whirlwind of thoughts running through his head.

Raon didn't chuckle this time. Though eyes narrowed and the corners of his mouth quirked up in amusement. His deep voice didn't so much as pierce the silence as it moved with it. Continuing the song he'd sung in the forest.
The tip of his tail moved with the beat of the song. Steadily tapping the ground in something primal.

Gunzi’s tail twitched along with Raons – But in ever growing irritation. He was trying to think, but that damned tail kept distracting him. Scrunching his nose he looked over at the offending appendage, glaring as it kept rhythmically tapping the ground.
Carelessly he caught it under his own paw, stopping its movement.

Orange eyes blinked as the metal claws raked his leg. That actually... felt good. Not the normal good, but the purring huskily kind of good. Mmm, claws. A moment later he noticed his tail was pinned. He looked from his tail, to Gunzi and back. "Yes? May I help you?"

Looking back up towards Raon he lifted his paw from the others tail. “Ah, no…” He supposed the fact that he was still intact and unharmed was a good sign. Glimpsing upwards he sent a glower at the quickly darkening sky. Standing he stretched tense muscles. He wouldn’t find himself stuck in a clearing when night fell.
Pausing he scowled at the other. “Don’t you have somewhere else t’be?” Someone else to bother. His mind sarcastically added.

The brown ulaya got up as well. "No." His harsh voice was cheerful. Sue him, he liked following this one around. His little pet would never get too far away from him if he could help it.
