What the hell? None of this was Toku's business, anyways! "I don't need a purpose to get me through the day, Toku." she then hissed, while flinging her bangs out of her eyes. "Maybe that is how you live YOUR life, but I do things my way. That's why my parents recognized me as the daughter I am, and that is why I live by myself and on my own." <********, she was starting to get feisty. Her emotions were still contained, but she was unhappy with Toku's questions and comments. "I am not a number, for I have a name, a personality, and a soul that is my own. You may have been a number in your past, but I was of no such thing. I am a daughter, and I am sorry if you cannot accept that." She paused slightly before slanting her eyes while speaking again. "Obviously your experiences in this herd are much different then my own life now. You need to accept that some of us live on our own and for ourselves. I only take and give guidance to my family when I find it necessary, since they are important to me. Sorry if that is so confusing for you." Ugh.

Feisty, that would be a good way to describe her now. He flinched not a bit at her hissing, or the raising of her voice. "I don't have a purpose don't you get that? I lived up to no ones expectation and THAT is why I am out here. They would never see me as their equal so why bother!"
He stormed about in front of her pacing, always keeping his eyes trained on her should she make any sudden movement towards him. "I'll give you this, you might not be a number, you've at least got the same spine your parents did who decided to never take and s**t from another, but remember next time you snap at some one like this be damn well sure they won't rip your pretty little heart mark open." He stomped his hove and stood before her staring dead in to slanted eyes.

Malice flicked her tongue before showing her fangy smile. "If violence is what you want, I am all for that, babe." The babe slinked out in a very awkward manner, and Malice was sure to emphasize the word babe with a sadistic grin. "Though I don't see violence as a way to settle this argument of yours, since I sense a strange and personal anger from you. I really don't know what beef you have with my parents, but I can't help you with any of that."
The mare then took a few steps away from Toku, before turning her head to look at him again. "I find every Kalona as my equal, as long as they are typical in their decisions. I don't know how my parent's judged you, but I only judge lessers. So really.. I am not even judging you now. I'm just trying to understand." With a quick snort, she adjusted her wings out of a nervous habit and sighed to herself at this scenario. How random. Thing were starting to get interesting, though.

"Shame for you violence already paid it's visit on that deer behind me." He returned the smirk, though it almost seemed she was trying to tease him into something. Be it violence or something else he had no interest in either with her. "Lets just simply say your parents and I, never saw eye to eye and leave it at that alright?"
He stopped, his eyes blinked and for a moment he was confused, unlike her parents she just claimed not to be judging him, the very thing he hated feeling around them she was the opposite of in that one trait. It threw him off as well seeing's how he wasn't exactly being the 'nicest' Kalona to her right now.

"I'm fine with leaving it at that." she then added, while flicking her hair again. "That's your own business, not mine. Thus being my point: don't incorporate me into business that I don't belong to." She smiled sheepishly at him, before observing his silence to her other comments. How strange, the stallion went back to being quiet, and so quickly too. Oh well, she supposed that was his personality.
"I must be boring you already, oh well. Not everyone is always won over." She shrugged her shoulders before glancing at Toku. "I have said all I can say about myself, but you are still mysterious. Maybe that's just your nature?" She tilted her head while trying to analyzing him, but chuckled lightly while in thought. He was something alright, but at least she was entertained.

He was still slightly taken abck as she continued to talk, eventually her words started to sink in again and brought him down to earth in the form of a stomp and minor snort.
"Your... far from boring... your the first of our kind I've seen in a long time so your anything but boring." He turned nodding to the corpse, "That was boring, it cried out for its young to run before I got it, I think it gave its self up to save the runts who will most likely starve with out a parent." He turned back to her again, "My nature is that I don't like those I was around so I left, I have little more then that to tell you less you wish I recall my childhood or some other trivial memory."

Malice was once again taken aback by the stallion, but this time it was out of shock. Did he just.. compliment her? It was a minor and quiet compliment, but she was extremely surprised. "There is nothing wrong with your nature, Toku." She grinned quietly, before bringing her eyes on some birds in the distance. "You follow your own thoughts and rights, and that's whats important. I am the same way, that's why I wasn't that angry with your thoughts earlier." Just because he didn't follow her parents, didn't mean that he was a bad Kalona.
"Naw, forget about the childhood thing. The future is what I focus on, so why should I demand any other timespan from you?" She brought her gaze back on the stallion, before chuckling at her own words. The argument from before had quickly vanished, and Malice was still laughing in her mind from that thought alone.
"What are your plans for the future, Toku? If you don't mind me asking."

It would seem today was a day for surprises, taking things back, confusion, and a good dose of amusement sorely lacking in Toku's life. Every remark they made brought sparks and silence as quick as a change in the wind. Her own acceptince of his nature left him wondering what to say. He judged her based on her haritage, and she judged him still not at all rather she saw him an equal.
He could only shrug at her second question, "I have no reason for you to be here, you are here because you decided to walk over to the other Kalona as you said earlier."
He turned away looking at the deer corpse and then back at Malice, "I think... I'm going to kill another deer." It was stated factually, very plain, very formal, as if talking about the weather.

She let out a quick chuckle, since Toku's comment was amusing. "So your future involves death? That's good." She liked to plan on killing things herself, so Toku's decision was at least smart and conductive. "I don't think my future is that specific but, we are all different for that reason." Maybe Toku's personality involved being more specific.
The stallion was being quiet again, and Malice wondered what the heck his deal was anyway. "Hmm no words, Toku? That makes me wonder what is going on in that head of yours. Though its obviously not my business." She chuckled to herself once again while slowly making a side circle next to the stallion. He had her interested, and she still had no idea why.

"Death. Food. Rest. A simple cycle of simple pleasure, need I have anything more?" He chuckled a bit at her remark on specifics, "Deer are plenty here, and they have more meat then the smaller creatures. No fight, easy to kill, I also like their taste... personal preference I guess."
Toku simply didn't talk because he didn't have much to say. In his time away he had grown accustom to simply letting his mind wander and seek it's own conversation. "I have no one to talk too." Once again a simple fact with a hit of bitter edge, as if suggesting that Malice should have figured that out her self.

She was quiet for a second, until a usual smile curved on her lips. "Why have deer when there are meatier things out there.. like other Soquili. When's the last time you delighted yourself to one of those? I haven't tasted a lessers flesh for a few months.. and its been far to long." With a devilish glare, she glanced back at Toku with a delightful expression. "I hope to have that sort of thing in my future soon."
The thrill of attacking had been something she had missed for months, but now that she was in the mood and healed from her last fight, she would set out and find more prey to attack on.
At Toku's other comment, Malice silenced herself and lost her grin. "Oh.. I am the same way. That's probably why I am still here talking.." Funny how that worked, since she was comfortable staying and chatting.

Toku had turned to start his hunt, but stopped catching the curving smile forming on Malice's lips. Her idea was enticing, it sounded delightful. Slowly the more she spoke the more his own face mirrored her grin. "Another Soquili? You have interesting taste Malice..."
Turning back to her again he walked over slowing as he got closer, he leaned over to whisper into her ear. "Then lets stop talking and find us something to eat..." he said with a hiss.

The male's closeness was surprising to the mare, but she focused on his words and nothing else. "Take the reigns and lead the way, Toku. I will happily follow." Since he accepted her idea, it was only custom for Toku to walk on first, and Malice to closely follow. A part of her was interested to see what Toku was like when he was hunting, since she was pretty specific herself.
"I wonder where we should go first, because if we stay in this area, I realize I am not picking up a specific scent. If we start moving, I am sure more bodies will become prevalent." To taste flesh again.. the last flesh she tasted was plain and delicious, and unfortunately she had to taste the nasty flesh of a unicorn as well. But still, both were young and full of blood, and her mouth was watering at the thought of both. "I've noticed on some of my flights all of the families that are appearing.. so I believe we have a lot to taste." She grinned maliciously while following Toku. Stupid families. As much as they were a waste of space, they were still food!

With her acceptence he moved onward walking around her and heading towards the other end of the clearing preparing to venture out and seek their pray. "Lead I shall then."
"We'll go to the edge of my lands, no one wonders into them often so we will find no pray here." He had very rarely tasted the blood of another Soquili but the thought sent shivers down his spine. "I would make a remark on families and your meals Malice, but I'd rather feast then argue pointlessly again."

"But arguing is oh so much fun, don't you agree." she added, with a hint of sarcasm. They sure did argue a lot, but it was pretty humorous. Most would never go against what Malice had to say, even when she was little! But Toku was different, and he seemed as though he wanted to challenge her. She found that very enjoyable in him. "It would be boring if you always agreed with me, don't you think? I rather like that about you." Her words were very plain, since she didn't want to sound sentimental.
"The edge of land sounds like a good idea.." she then mused, while dragging her tail along the edge of the ground. "If we wait around too much, we will get bored easily." And that wouldn't be good, would it?
