Nyuuha chimed a response along the lines of 'I understand' and let the medic work. She ignored the foreign chakra, instead mentally reviewing her arsenal, both jutsu and equipment, as well as possibilities. Let's see... should I lean the neko-te like Kurome-sensei, or should I continue with the fan and just up my standards and jutsu library...? Hm...

Soon, her entire body was enveloped in a glowing green light. She would feel her flesh mending together, and her scarred and disruptive systems beginning to heal. "When this is over, you should continue to refrain from speaking. However, in a few days, you should try to speak, lest you risk not being able to speak again."

Nyuuha's mouth twisted into a vicious smile that was gone after several seconds, longer than her usual lapses into brief moments of cheer, and she nodded very slightly, signaling her assent. The cymbals clinked together, 'I would like to know the damage to my nervous system; should I schedule another appointment, or will we test it now?'

"I think we can test it now." He said as the green chakra faded. He pulled out a hammer with a rubber tip and lifted the gown a small amount. He then smashed the rubber tip against her knee area to see if her reflexes would react, thus indicating her nervous system was still intact.

Hijima woke up several hours later in the hospital. He was covered in tidbits of Genkei's ink, but alright all the same.

Nyuuha's leg jumped, albeit with a slight pause in between when it should have reacted and when it actually did. Nyuuha scowled.

"Hmm, the link is still there, but it is, damaged to say the least." The medic put the small hammer away and pulled out a machine in which small electrodes were connected to a seal with the kanji for 'lightning' in the middle of smaller markings. He attached the electrodes her left and right temple. "Alright, now let us see which nerves tell which parts of your body to do what." he modified the machine. "Now, when I activate the seal, your left side will be given a small shock. This will tell the right side of the brain what to do, and your limbs, digits, ect. will act accordingly. Or so we hope." His hand began to glow green and he placed his hand on the seal. Her left side would become numb for a second, then beginning to tingle.

Hijima got up and folded the blankets on his bed. He was feeling much better now but he couldn't waste anymore time being lazy. He needed to find Genkei and they needed to begin training. "That Genkei," Hijima thought, "needs to tone it down in our future training sessions. I won't get anything from battle if I am constantly going into the hospital." Hijima left the hospital to search for Genkei in the Inner Village.

((right.. well, since this doesn't seem to be going anywhere... I'm just going to go ahead an skip a bit)) Nyuuhakushoku made her way out of the hospital, thinking. It had been an informative visit, and she would doubtless have to return for testing. She would have to work on her own to see how this particular problem would affect her own training regimen and movement. Hopefully it wouldn't be too bad. Lovely. So the heat receptors are fine, as are the other more ordinary textural tactile sensors, but everything else seems to be a little muddled. Yes, my body still does what my brain instructs it to do, but most other sensation seems to be lost along the way, pain being the most evident. ****! I'm not a berserker! I don't even really do melee... This would be advantageous if I did, but I am not built for that particular kind of fighting, nor am I of the mind to try my hand at it. Hand-to-hand was my lowest score in the Academy, after all... I need to pummel something.
