[M]a.r.t.s FairyDuelist2003 forget it. there's not enough people to do it Be patient a little. People will join once it is all set up. Most people here weren't there during the BWL era, so they don't know what to expect about it. (I'm probably the best example of that situation sweatdrop ) Once it is up and running, you'll see more people joining.
ok, i'll bring back BWL in March to give people a chance.

Something that could bring the interest into the GWF RPers is if 2 veterans from BWL gives an example of how a dice-based match works. Maybe Tim vs Fairy on the main forum to show what it is about.
Or even if the next non-PPV cycle was working with the dice system. That way, everyone would know what BWL is about, and will judge if they want to be part of it or not.

Well I'm not the greatest with the dice system, because i need to see them every now and then. But what helps in some match are. say...ok after we get to page 3 , we can try to end a match or so. That's what i ask figgy to do before. and he said sure. We had some good dice matches.

here's an example for you guys. it's a match i did all by myself with dice. this should be a good example of my dice system. here are the dice rules so you can keep up with my action. 1 is a fail and cancels out any success that comes up.
4 sided-high risk moves. roll one of these die. even is a success, odd is a batch
6 sided-pin counter. must roll 2 of these dice. if the total of the two numbers is even, you successfully kick out of the pin. if the total is odd...well...you don't kick out
8 sided-counter a submission. must roll five dice, must have four successes of 4 or higher
10 sided-high impact moves (ddt's, piledrivers, power bombs, ect.) roll four dice, must have two successes of 4 or higher
12 sided-submission move. must roll five dice, must have three successes of 4 or higher
20 sided-pin. even is a success, odd is a botch.
Interference: if you wish for a friend to interfer in your matches then you must make this roll. for a successful interference not see by the ref you must roll 4 12-sided dice getting two successes of 3 or higher. if you botch this roll, you will be caught and your friend will be DQ'd.
to interfer like a distraction, 3 12-sided with the same successes needed.

Damn I almost forgot I had an Idea, Instaead of running it like a Show/PPV type place You could untill weve gotten interest in the product back up do like ROH or UFC does and have just events liek once a month or every 2 months and have long cycles, a thing i noticed witht he dice is the matches can take longer between 2 skilled people simply because the randomness the dice have. I sugest one show a month with the Cycle lasting abotu a month (( cuz cant be a full month you got to shut down the cycle in time for the next one)) Then When interest is back up BAM move up to a show format again. You can also give each event there own name, recycle names each year liek PPV's do OR change them every month.
Just an Idea I thought of while doign some spring cleanning in the sticky Section sweatdrop

Five?!?!? that's it, Five....wait, make that four cause i'm two of the characters. that's it? damn, this sucks. come on, is this all BWL is gonna get? March Melee will take place March 9th. if this is all i have to work with than that's it i guess. please people join BWL, i don't wanna see this die.
