"Well, most who come, do so by appointment unless paying a social visit. I know Maddock and Akkan both have their friends and lovers, and since you mentioned Maddock and Rio, it would seem you had dealings with them. Now since neither of them are very...ah...social, the logical reason would be you had an appointment." All the while, the young looking pheonix never lost his smile as he spoke, portraying a friendly, easy going manner.
"Now. May I ask whom you are here to see?"

Jerome was edgy, as he always was in the Sh'kiahaar, and took to shifting his weight from foot to foot. "Sol, I've come to see Sol," he said, accent leaking through his words and rounding his l's out and throwing the vowels into the back of his throat.

"Sol. Hmm...all right." Cooper pulled out another clipboard and scanned through it, a small frown coming to his face. "I must appologize but it seems you are not on his schedule for the day. Was this a last minute arraingment between the two of you?"

"No, There was no official araingment, it was more of an open invitation," Usually calm, the priest found himself fishing for the words to explain his situation, his accent becoming ever more pronounced as his uneasiness increased.

"Open invitation? From Master Sol?" He now looked genuinely confused. "I was not aware Master Sol had any friends. Oh dear. This is frightfully upsetting Master Jerome. I have not introduced myself at all. I do hope you will forgive the oversight." So saying, Cooper executed a very graceful bow. "My name is Cooper and I am charged with helping Master Dravyn in the running of daily affairs here. Should you need anything, simply ask for me, or Bekka, or Kuraki. In an emergency, ask for Hailey...but only an emergency. He is a splendid fellow, really, but most find him...ofputting."
Realizing he had been prattling far too much, he cleared his throat and once more gave Jerome his customary sunny smile. "So, Master Jerome, is there any way I could be of service to you?"

Jerome smiled back and shook his head, "Unless you can put Rio and Maddock into better dispositions, there's really nothing for it," he said with a sigh. His accent lessened some, but it still lingered around the edges of his words.

The phoenix gave another of his trilling laughs. "Ah, I can do many things but alas, I can not work miracles. So now, Master Jerome, might i fetch you a beverage? Or a comestable perhaps? The game appears to be finishing up."

"Some, tea perhapes, if it's no trouble," The priest replied, watching the occupants of the library for a safe opening.

"Right away." So saying, Cooper bustled out of there just as there came a triumphant sound from Rio. The young incubus sat back in his chair, smirking while his brother stared at the gameboard, utterly dumbfounded. Around them, Maddie and Akkan both chuckled softly. Or rather Akkan did, Maddie just snorted and smirked before abandoning the game in favor of reading a book.
Still wondering how his brother managed to beat him sol stood, giving a tendon snapping stretch before bending down, legs perfectly straight and nose pressed to his knees. After aboutt 10 seconds of holding that position he stood and made his way over to one of the bookshelves and started browsing.

Watching the demons, Jerome slipped into the room and stood next to Sol, browsing the books as well, "Bon nuit, Sol."

Sol had just been reaching for a book when the preist spoke. Releasing a small gasp, his fingers lost their grip on the book and it landed on his head with a solid thunk. Color tinted his cheeks as he released a small yelp abd bent quickly to pick up the book, clearning his throat and acting like he meant to do that.

Jerome chuckled, knowing that he had caused the momentary lapse of grace Sol usually displayed, but he assumed it was because he had startled him. "Sol, really, I would think that would have noticed me coming," he said, pulling a book idley from the shelf.

"Ah.." Sol cleared his throat, a smile that was faintly sheepish appearing on his face. "I should have. Here I suppose I do let my guard down a tad too much. As the bump on my head can attest. Henceforth, I shall be more vigilant."

"As well you should be," the young priest started, glancing back at Rio to make sure he was still distracted and wouldn't coming after him any time soon. "Sol, is there somewhere we can talk?"

Wondering what Jerome would want to talk about, Sol nodded. "Yes. We can retire to my private rooms. Shall I have tea sent to us? We just got a delivery of that blend you are fond of."
