"I had always thought cold was just simply cold. Apparently I've been proven wrong though." She gave him a bemused smile, before continuing "Aside from that point, if we should grow numb to the extent that the cold wouldnt disturb us, is to the point of frostbite, or possible death." She said giving him a sarcastic lift of any eyebrow and continued to walk along.
"What a creature you are. You like winter not only for the beauty but for the death that it brings?" An ironic laugh followed, as she slowed her steps to compose her thoughts more clearly. "I realized that my reason was unique, but I must say, I'm surprised. " She didnt return a smile to Godric, but her tone cheerful as she replied, "I'm afraid that impression is going to stick entirely too much in my mind."

"Not that cold," He said quickly, with a little laugh. "Cold enough, but not that cold... Death isn't exactly something I look forward to." He said, laughing a bit still. He too, slowed his steps, to meet pace with her once again. Her words caught a little smile on his lips.
'Then maybe, because of that impression, you'll remember me?' He thought, then blinked at his own thoughts,... pausing for a moment. 'Wait, What? Why did I think THAT?' He wondered, blinking rapidly. He'd been thinking some strange thoughts lately... was it since his talk with Alenazsa? Since she'd explained to him why all the mares where fat,... and, quite disturbingly, in quite solid detail? And then Analae came in, and scared him into believing? Had he like.. Gone through a mini personality change? Or did he just finally.. 'grow up', in Analae's words.
[Ignore Godric. xDD; He's confusing himself lately.

"Mm. We'll see how the weather fares when winter is actually here." She chuckled, adding "Just don't let me find you half-frozen, as that would be a terrible inconvenience." She said lightly, noticing the odd smile on Godric's face. "What, did I say something wrong?" Slightly surprised at his pause, she was a few steps ahead of him, "Why, I'm honored. I didnt realize my words had such impact. But I still fail to see the impact." Her words were dry, as her silver eyes stared towards the stallion's large frame, clearly expecting an answer. "Care to tell me?"

Godric seemed to snap back to reality, as he looked over at the mare again, swallowing. "It's.. nothing. My mind is just.. playing tricks on me again... It likes to try to confuse me." he said. It was funny, because, he wasn't even lying, by saying this.
But.. was it really his mind that was confusing him, or was he confusing himself? Or is that all the same? ...I'm doing it again.. he thought. ...It didn't really feel good, technically still lying to her. He sighed. "...I just thought something, and it... wasn't something I usually think." He sighed once more, feeling almost embarrassed to be admitting to this.

"What a fun mind that must be!" Septimus said with a soft giggle. "I'm not entirely sure I would want that, but forgive me. Its entirely too amusing when I myself am not riddled with such a problem."
"Why, thats not uncommon. One could only imagine how much times I've done that." Sensing embarrassment in the air, she tilted her head to look at him wonderingly. Why would one be embarrassed over admitting what every one had done at one point or another? There were no ends to the odd quirks of this stallion, Godric. But a stallion with odd quirks was better company than others that she had met.

He let out another little sigh.. adding to his trail of. "It's just.. well.. I've never... Oh Forget it.." He grumbled softly, to himself completely. He, once again, let out another sigh, this one a little rough.
He shook his head a few times, taking another few steps forward, before looking over at her. "Just... forget what I said for a bit, alright? I'm just,..." he pondered over his words, before letting out a slight laugh. "Odd," he finally added, before the laugh subsided.
He looked at Septimus for a moment, looking her over a few times. He words came a long mile before his mind thought them through. "You know, your coat,... is really beautiful, this time of night," It almost seems to glow, His sentence didn't continue though, as he caught himself. Whaat?! What am I saying? I don't get it... He blinked.

"Every stallion has a oddity or two to them, I cant see why you should be an exception?" She said charmingly. "So in return, you must forgive me if I should do something terribly dreadful." Which was highly unlikely, but one could never be too careful. But that thought was left unsaid, as she found herself vbeing examined.
She had a smile on her face, by the time that he had finished her compliment. At least this stallion had good taste, she thought as she lifted her head. "Thank you for the compliment, I'm sure that you have boosted my ego too much entirely." .. She trailed off before continuing "You may come to regret that one day." The sentence was accompanied with a laugh, and by that time, she had already walked to the side of Godric, "I'll have to admit, your well-endowed also." She flicked a glance towards his wings as she asked, "You must have been fortunate to have been born into a family with wings."

Even with a coat as dark as his, the slightest blush could still be seen on his cheeks. He then hid it with a tiny little smile. "I.. don't think I will, regret it..." He mumbled, swallowing, careful about what he said. He breathed his own little laugh.
As she moved by him, his wings twitched, moving out a bit, one wing slightly brushing her side as he half-stretched them. He shrugged a bit. "I suppose so. I very rarely bother using the wings though. They... help me, at times... I guess. But there's really nothing special about having these wings.." He said, glad that he was making sense as he spoke again.

Due to the darkness of both Godric's coat, and the night that surrounded them, Septimus hadn't noticed the blush that fell over his face.
Disregarding the brush of his wings, she peered curiously at him. "Haha, well you know, at the base of any animal's nature, we want what we can never have." But she didn't sound too put off, and continued "Perhaps nature doesn't want me any more endowed than I am though. " Shaking out her mane with a delicate shake, "I mean, how many mares are blessed with my beauty?" .. She looked at Godric thoughtfully for a few moments, before giving him an apologetic smile. "I'm afraid you've been stuck with my sort of mare."

He stared at her for a long moment, as she spoke. "Not many..." he breathed, after she spoke. Not many mares are so beautiful,... The words continued on in his mind.
Again, his wings twitched. He'd... used them, what? Once? He much more preferred the feeling of solid ground below him, aside from the air beneath his wings as he soared. He trusted much more in walking, than Flight. Even, if,... walking did take much longer than flying ever would.
He was still a horse after all. Flying could be left to the birds.

"I'm afraid that if you continue to compliment me, my ego is going to burst like a balloon." Although Septimus had said that, her body conveyed a different manner. Slightly red with a mixture of happiness and embarassment, she turned away from Godric to continue walking down the path. "or I'm afraid your compliments have gotten to my head. "
The chilly winds blew past the pair once again, as she turned back "Its being quite cold, maybe we'll have to post-pone this visit." Shivering, she was glad for the mane and tail she sometimes cursed. "My mane isnt as long as others, but the warmth it affords me is enough." Realizing that she had spoken outloud, she chuckled nervously, "Sorry. At this point, I'm babbling. Not only have your compliments gone to my head, but I believe the cold had also."

Godric only watched her for a time. Only her last words really caught in his mind.
His tail flicked once. As did his wings. "You're not babbling at all..." He let out. He pondered for a moment. "...Though I am not exactly,.. sweating horribly... I am quite warm... Would,... You like me to share that warmth with you?" Godric tilted his head to the side a bit. His words came out low and soft, slightly different than how they usually did. Again his wing brushed out, touching the mare softly, in an almost, absent-minded attempt to let her get a little taste of the warmth of the underside of his wings.

"There's no need for that, although I appreciate the offer." Septimus said softly, amused. "Aside from that, as soon as I get home, I figure I'll go bother one of my herd members, or so. Best to bother almost-family, instead of a kind stranger like you... They have particularly amusing reactions to say the least. "
Stepping away from the stallion, "So, as tempting as you are, I'll have to restrain." She tried to soften the rejection with a smile. The compliments, and his actions had led her to reach a logical conclusion, but one she had no intention of acknowledging or returning.
It was best to maintain a distance, and a short meeting than anything else.
