"I will come back to find you," he promised. Of course, he couldn't fulfill that promise if he ended up dying but he really didn't think Ezriel would have it in him.. if it came to that. He was hoping his son would relinquish all rights to the mare if any existed. Still, his own father had underestimated him in his youth, hadn't he? So he would have to prepare for his next meeting with his son. He would not underestimate him like his own father had done with him.
"I would like to speak with you again, after you've had some sleep," Reaper admitted, "and I very well can't do that if we aren't together, can I?" The comment was true enough but had a hint of teasing to it. The stallion did feel different when he was around Nimue. It was intoxicating. He barely knew the mare yet she was able to bring so much from within him. Was he getting weak or was she special?
It was difficult for him to tell the difference. Everything within him told him that he had not changed, that he was still a monster, so he wanted to believe that she was just special. But what if that was a facade? What if she, like others in his life ended up disappointing him? He would have to wait to see if such a time came. For now..he would take steps to making her his. At least until his desires were fulfilled.

I will come back to find you...
Smiling in a relieved and happy fashion, the mare felt quite a bit more at ease now that she knew her company would be returning to her after she had some sleep. In all truths, sleep rarely came to the mare and when it came it usually would pass the poor dear out for days at a time. Hopefully that would be the case as she was already eager to wake up and start chatting more with Reaper again. She would rather like to hear about what the heavens was like before all of the sour circumstances happened in what seemed the lives of most angeni she met. How could it be that such a ancient and overall kind race could have so many pitfalls and dark spots?
"Really? Nimue would adore so!" Oh wowie! So he actually wanted to speak to her as well! Reaper was very much like Ezriel; or was it the other way around? None the less; she couldn't wait to have a meeting with both! There would be singing, and laughter and possibly even cherries! Unfortunately, the crayon drawn scene in her mind was most definitely blown out of reality capable measures. If only the mare knew how opposite such a meeting would be if it was to ever occur.
Smirking faintly as her eyes fell to half lidded status; the mare all but puured as she nuzzled her cheek against that of the large fallen Angeni. "Unless you can speak in your sleep, then I suppose not." Chuckling in a mischievous tone, the mare turned to trot back down to the forest where she had made a makeshift home beside her loyal friend Oak (albeit him being nothing more than a tree)...yet she didn't manage to get that far. Breaking down from pure exhaustion, the mare simply collapsed onto the ground in a tumble of ebony feathers and peaceful smiles. Laying upon her side; her long locks managed to blanket her fall and curl about her shoulders while her wings instinctively curled about her back and flank.
Her breathing slowed to become even and serene like the expression on her face. Drifting into a dreamless sleep, the mare often could find peace in slumber; where her unstable mind slowly faded from its reign on her body and soul and she drift comfortably in the darkness.

He waited a moment before he followed her. For a few moments he simple stood and watched her. She really was a strange sort of mare. Would she really be excited to see him again, to have a conversation with him? He was so used to creatures fleeing from him that it was hard to consider that someone might truly want his company.
She was beautiful, even if she had that skull on her face. If anything, it only added to her beauty, as he had always had a fondness for darker things. He was curious to see what she looked like underneath.
He wanted her. He wanted her to be his. If ever a mare was worthy to stand at his side, she would be it. She would be a good choice for the foals he wanted. They would have good blood. It was too perfect. Or at least it would be as long as Ezriel wasn't a problem. Did she just consider Ezriel as a friend like he? If Ezriel knew of his plans, would he try to destroy them out of some form of revenge? It seemed that his sons and daughter resented him for what he had done to their mother, but if that had not taken place, they would not exist! Unappreciative bastards.
He needed to find Ezriel. He wanted to know if anything were between the two of them. Things he could not ask Nimue. Mares got offended so easily, it seemed. If there was something there, anything at all, he would see it destroyed.
He wanted her. This beautiful, woeful female would be his. Never had any female got to him in such a way and she was able to with one meeting. Perhaps it was fate that drew them together.
"Sleep well, my dark angel," he whispered before turning to find Ezriel.
