Fang quickly jumped up on his paws and perked up happily. "Okay! I know the perfect place!" He began walking away from the female, but stopped and turned around to look at the other. "Coming? We are going to the forest." He said as he began to walk away again.
Slowly, as he kept walking, his speed quickened and his walk became a fast skip/trot. He didn't want to sit here doing nothing with his new friend, but at the same time she wanted to make sure that she had fun as well as him. His burning paw burnt all the grass that he stepped on as he walked towards the forest.

Midori ran after him. Now trying to keep up with him. She has been into the forest. She hadn't found anything to unusual in it. But maybe that was because nothing had really caught her eye. Maybe wondering around with someone else will help her see something interesting. But who knows.
As Midori followed him, she noticed his paw burning the grass as he walked. That only made her giggle a little. It just made her think of how bad he must be at playing hide and seek. He'd just leave a trail of his paw, leading right to him. She continued to giggle, probably making herself look like a crazy psycho kit. Until she finally asked him about it. "Do you like playing hide and seek?" She asked, still giggling away like a little girl in a school yard. I suppose she just found random things to be funny. I suppose some might think that was a cute little trait to have.

Fang stopped whenever the other kit spoke of this... 'hide and seek' thing. "What's that stuff?" He asked, not too sure on what that thing was. Hide and Seek? Who were they, or what were they? He knew what hiding and seeking was, but how could you play them? Now, he was facing the other kit. What was so funny? Was 'hide and seek' a trick or something? The little purple and red kit sat down and tilted his head at the other little kit. His nose made a sniffing sound as he took in the smell of the burning grass. Maybe this hide and seek thing was so fun it made her laugh just thinking about it? Whatever the reason she was laughing, Fang thought it was funny watching her giggle.

Midori looked at him oddly, then began to giggle again. Who didn't know what hide and seek was? It was probably one of her favorite games. But once someone was close to finding her, she'd only giggle and get found. But it was still fun for her to play.
She sat down next to Fang. Trying to contain her giggling. "Hide and seek is a game." She said, now just smiling at him. "It's were someone or ones go and hide, while the other seek." She nodded. "And since you have that paw, you'd only lead the seeker right to you." She said, beginning to giggle again. Probably the most shes giggled. I suppose todays was just one of those days.

Fang's head tilted a little. The game sounded easy, but pointless. Why would he play such a game if his paw would lead the finder straight to him? He shrugged at his thoughts and looked at the little purple kit that was giggling away.
"So what is the point of the game? Why is it so fun? It sounds rather boring." Fang said, not too sure if that sounded rude or not. He was hoping it didn't sound rude, but he couldn't help but speak his mind. After all, he was one of the most honest ulayas you could come across, which was probably why he was named Fang. His mother had told him Fang means honest, which he was.

Midori looked over at him, calming her laughter. The point of the game? She had never thought about that. I suppose the whole point was to hide and then seek, yes? She thought it was that simple. Persons go to hide, and another to seek. She thought it was rather fun. Unless it took the seeker to long to seek, then she got bored. But that hadn't really happened yet. Only a couple times.
She gave him a calm smile. "I suppose the point is to hide while another seeks." She paused, going back into thought for a second. "I can't really explain why it's fun, but it is to me!" She said nodding her head. It seemed like a bit of an odd game. But she thought everyone knew about. I suppose she was wrong, but there wasn't a problem with that. She didn't know about it at first either. But once she did play it, she gotten to like very much. Maybe he'd want to play?

Fang tilted his head while listening to Midori. It still seemed kind of boring. Maybe you actually had to play it in order to fully understand if it was fun or not. Maybe there was a rush of some kind while hiding and have the other ulaya coming so close to you?
Fang shrugged and thought about why the other ulaya kit seemed to like the game so much. It might be better than just sitting her talking... anything could be better than that. "I guess we could try playing it." He said while thinking about how he would play with his burning paw. A thoughtful smile sat on the purple and red kit's face. He had an idea, a good idea. She would never be able to find him.... well, maybe she would but not easily.

Midori's smile grew bigger with excitement. She hadn't played hide and seek in a while. So, she was thinking this was going to be fun! "You really wanna play?" She asked, trying to contain her excitement. Playing games was one of her favorite things to do. Next to exploring!
Since he hadn't played before, she would give him the choice. Would he hide or seek? She looked around, then over at him. "Do you wanna hide, or seek?" She asked. He eyes seeming to have stars in them now. As her excitement was glowing that much. She wasn't sure if he was going to try the game out at first. But I suppose you can't really understand why it's fun for someone else. You'd have to see if it were fun for you, for your own reasons. Kinda like when it comes to eating. Just because one person likes it, doesn't mean the other will. Right?

"Sure, why not? Its something new and it is better than just sitting here waiting for something to happen." He said with a small nod of his head. If she liked it so much maybe he would too. Of course, this game could probably never beat the excitement of exploring, which was one of Fang's favorite pass times... well, it was his only pass time.
Fang sort of had the idea of hiding already, so of course he picked the one he knew how to do. "I'll hide first." He said with a sneaky grin. This would be interesting. Hopefully his plan would work out. What would she do so that she didn't know where he was hiding? Probably close her eyes. But how would she know he was ready for her to come looking for him? He shrugged his shoulders and waited for her instructions. She would most likely answer his questions in just a second.

Midori thought his choose of hiding was interesting. Since she had just talked about his whole paw thing. She began to wonder what he might have in mind to his hiding. This would be quite the interesting game.
She smiled at him. "Okay! Since you've decided to hide, I'll close my eyes and count toooo.." She paused, thinking of how long she would count to. "Hmm, 20?!" She finally decided. She looked around for a little bit. "And once I'm done counting I'll go look for you." She said smiling. "So.. Go hide!" She said with much excitement. She then turned around, closing her eyes. Only beginning to count. "1, 2.." She began counting. Letting in a few giggles as she counted away.

Fang quickly dashed off, letting a trail of fire follow behind him. This would be interesting. When he got to the perfect spot, he stopped and let the fire around his paw burn a little bit. His time was limited, so he quickly picked up his burning paw and began to hop away from that one spot as fast as he could.
As he hopped, he covered his tracks the best he could, without letting his burning paw touch anything. When he found the perfect tree, he began to quickly crawl up it, still being careful of his burning paw. This was perfect and it seemed like he only had a few seconds left before she would come after his burning trail. As quiet as a mouse, he made his way from one tree branch to another. All this time, his paw never touched a thing. She would need a lot of skills in order to find him.

Midori continued to count, until she was just about done. "19.. 20! READY OR NOT! HERE I COME!" She yelled slightly. Letting out a little giggle at the end. Hmm. She saw a fiery paw track. Usually, she be pretty slow and follow the tracks very quickly. But she knew Fang had something going on. As if he didn't, she didn't think he'd chose to hide. She looked at the tracks peculiarly. "Hmm." She said to herself. "I suppose he has to be around where these tracks lead." She continued to say, actually using her mind in this game. Which of course, was unlike her.
She followed his tracks. Getting used to the fiery smell it left behind. She didn't think it'd be east to find him, but she also didn't think it'd be hard. Where ever he was, he still had a flaming paw. She followed the tracks until it ended. She knew he wouldn't be there. She sniffed around, hoping she might find s scent of his. Someone she knew taught her how to use her noise when looking for something or someone. And this was the perfect time to put it to the test!

Fang glanced around. A tree branch from a different tree was close enough to hop on without touching his paw, so he made his way onto that tree branch and looked for another to hide on. His smile grew as he found another tree branch and another. Slowly he made his way from the first tree he was on to a tree that was deeper in the forest.
She couldn't possibly find him now. He stopped where he was whenever he found a hole in a tree. It was perfect. He climbed in it and let his burning paw touch a few of the leaves. Fang made sure that the fire did not touch the tree. Once a few of the leaves had a little bit of a burn to it, he crawled out of the hole and continued his walking from tree branch to tree branch. Surprisingly, his paw hadn't touched anything, other than the leaves, yet.

Midori was still sniffing around the first area Fang had lead her to. She picked up a vague scent, she guessed was his. She looked around. He had to be here somewhere. It's not like he could've disappeared into thin air. Though it'd be cool, she highly doubted. He was trying to make himself look clever, and make the game more complicated for her. Well, she was up for this challenge. He was messing with the wrong girl.
She then began to sniff around. If she got close enough to where he actually is, she might be able to smell the flame that he always had with him. He had to have been being very careful with his flame paw. She was quite sure he was trying not to touch anything with it. If he did, he would be blowing his cover. Unless he was doing it intentionally, like the first track. She looked around, seeing ish she could actually see his flame. She couldn't now, he must be deeper in the forest. She began to run deeper into it, with a grin on her face. "Here I really come." She said to herself as she darted deeper into the forest.

Fang looked at his burning paw. Stupid thing. Why couldn't he have it where it could turn on and off?! That would be cool. His mind came back to reality and he glanced around. If she did come towards here then she would easily find his burning paw in the darkness of the forest. Maybe he should hide it somehow? Yeah!
When he found a hole in a tree, he grabbed a few twigs and crawled in. After he was comfortable, he covered up the opening which he crawled in from with twigs so that she would not be able to tell there ever was an opening here. It would be especially hard from the ground to see the hole. His plan was clicking in his head. Hopefully she wouldn't find him that easily. Where was the fun in that?
