One time we were stuck in traffic in the shool bus because an alligator had left the bayou and decided to take a walk across the road. eek
A few days later there was a baby alligator waiting for me in my driveway. gonk
I called my friend's older brother and told him to take it back to the bayou.

We had a lot of copperheads over there (by the way, all of this takes place at the house where I use to live), one time we had to kill one because it was 5 ft. long and slithering throughout my backyard. Couldn't have that.

One time a family of raccoons lined up on top of our fence. They were so cute! whee

We also got rabbits in the backyard, but that may have been because my neighbor owned some, and they kept getting out of their cages. xd

We found a possum in the garage next to the dryer because it was cold out. We gave it some food, but it eventually left. emo

And last, but not least...! Armadillos. Front yard, back yard...I wanted to catch it, but Mom wouldn't let me. She said it carries Leprosy or something... rolleyes

I didn't mention squirrels, because there is an unGodly amount of them here, and deer aren't the rarest animals in the area, although you're more likely to see them in Kingwood (The Livable Forest, as it has been proclaimed) than in Humble.
