I wanna find something I've wanted all along....

Those TV's you are talking about are most likely not compatible if we're talking HD.(Which is the whole point of HD-DVD and Blu-ray movies.) They'll show, but not in HD. It will be expensive but you're going to need a TV that ranges from the $1000 to $2000 range.

....Somewhere I belong

1000-2000 Dollars? THATS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

I love Quoting Chowder...

Brilliant, DM. Now if you can find an upscaling device and medieval catapault for a low price, I'll be fulfilled. Some surface-air missile launchers would also be nice.......

Yeah, but I can just imagine the lags you get with those and the quality. As Blues has explained before, any TV in the $999 range or lower is probably bad with textures and the actual display. Go look at his HDTV one in the tech subforum, he explains it.

Anyway, for the subject, if you're looking for a personal TV for you, one that's not that big. Like a 20-inch or somewhere around there, a 720p would probably be enough for you, and you could probably find something like that in the $300 or less range.

Now, it would probably be a component one, but the PS3 supports that, and you'd still be getting HD and probably pretty good quality. Not 1080p, but for a 20-inch TV, you probably don't need any more than 1080p. You probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p with a TV that size.

So a personal TV you're going to be close to will probably be good.
