Skipping around him, she told him. "Then just become friends with those who don't laugh and ignore the ones who do. Yep yep yep yep. They don't deserve your friendship if they laugh." With that, she stopped and nodded her head frantically, "any weather is good for playing in the river... except when it's really really cold that the river freezes up, but even that's sometimes fun to slip and slide all over the ice. Almost like walking in water. Indeed indeed." She nickered happily, high stepping around.

Ayidan gives a soft, happy laugh as he watches her. She was such a happy mare, and so friendly. He was glad he'd met her. He ponders her words, and says "I'll tr... try to d... do that. It suh... seems w... wise, cer... cer... certainly." He ponders again, on the second part. "We... well I ju... just me... mean th... that I had hu...heard that cuh...cold wa... water can ma...ma...make ya... you sick." He shrugs. "I cuh...could be wr... wrong though."

Kuwan nodded, almost proudly, as if she said a wise teaching. Well, it sort of was, but nothing philisofical or anything like that. "Yep yep yep... ones who can't be nice don't deserve to have any friends or fun." She nodded frantically, then tilted her head slightly when he mentioned getting sick. "Yeah yeah... I guess that's true... but not if the water is solid! Nope nope nope nope!"

Ayidan smiles, his head tilting to one side. "Oh wuh...well! A...at luh... least I've muh... met you. Yu... you're a guh... good so...soquili, and I th...think a gu... good fri...friend." He beams at her, then nods. "And tr...true. Su... solid wa...water wo...would be huh...hard to ge...get we...wet in, so it pr...probably wouldn't make yuh... you sick."

The little flutter's eyes widened at what he said. "Really? I'm your friend?! Goody goody! Yep yep yep yep yep yep!" With a loud whinny, she took to the air, not too high and fluttered around, clicking her hooves together as she showed how happy she was. After a few good minutes of that, she eventually calmed and landed again. "Yep yep. One day we should go find some solid water together."

Kuwan gave another happy whinny at Ayidan's words. Without a second thought on how the shy stallion would react, the mare fluttered up so they were head to head and gave his cheek a quick nuzzle before landing back down. "Yay yay! I got my first friend and it's the awesome Ayi! Yep yep yep!"

Ayidan blushed so red under his hair, he seemed to glow a little, at the nuzzle and at her calling him awesome. "I'm gla... glad you ar... are ha... happy, Ku...Kuwan." He nods and leans to nuzzle her back, looking happy, if flustered a little.

The mare didn't notice her new friend's sudden addition in color, nickering as he nuzzled her back. With a smile, she pulled back and skipped around him. "We should go find something fun to do. Yep yep. Like... um... chase a squirrel!" She exclaimed, taking a small amount of his mane in her teeth and tugging it playfully.

Ayidan can't help but laugh and he nods. "A...all right! We ca... can go da...do that or suh...suh...something. If we do...d on't find a sq... sq....squirrel, something else." His stutter was fading a little as he relaxed.

With a giggle, the little flutter turned and dashed off some distance into the woods. She then stopped and looked back to where she had left Ayidan. "Come on slow poke... we'll never catch them if you lag behind! Nope nope!" She yelled to him, flicking her tail lightly as she pranced in place before hopping into another pile of leaves she noticed.

Ayidan laughs and surges into movement to gallop after her, then slows a bit, laughing again as she hops into the pile of leaves. "Ya... you like those, da... don't you?" He tilts his head. "Is tha... that fun to da... do?"

Kuwan watched the little bits of leaves scatter about after she had jumped into them. Hearing him get closer to her, she looked back and smiled. "Yep yep... they make fun crunching noises and flutter everywhere when you jump in them. Yep yep yep, yep yep!" She told him, jumping in place in the pile she was in.

Kuwan had taken interest in kicking the leaves about and causing them to flurry about in the air by fluttering her wings frantically, of course this caused her to hover about. Hearing the familiar crunch of leaves though, and not caused by herself, she looked around and saw Ayidan in another pile. She squealed and flew over to him. "Yaaaay for you! You did it! It's fun fun fun!"
