"....this is your 'danger'?..." Kokujo said, seeming unimpressed by the beetles "Ooooh, you guys gonna get Kokujowned...." Corbenik said, then twizzled his hand and fingers round to make a failed attempt at a gang sign "dawg." He finished as Kokujo pulled his Shuriken from his back. He threw it hard at one of the beetles, the arc such that after hitting it, it would continue on to the next. Kokujo then dashed quickly towards the 3rd beetle creature, his mechanical arms claws scraping along the ground with a hail of sparks before he brought them up in a slashing motion towards the beetles head.

*dives down as low as she can to the floor, some blades scratching across her back as she lays against the floor and the knives pass overhead.*

*The beetles attacking Kokujo appear to have much tougher shells than they appear. The shuriken, and his mechanical arms leave deep gouges in the silvery shells...but the beetles continue to advance, now spitting some kind of acid at Kokujo's face* *Where Icis is, knives continue to fly at her in a seemingly endless stream* *Where Kyla is, flames shoot from the ground on either side of her. They form walls of fire on either side, and slowly begin to close in on her* *Where Kold is, shadowy arms lunge out of the walls, grabbing at Kold's arms and legs* *Both Kold and Kyla hear Zen's whispering raspy voice* *What Kyla hears* I will give you this opportunity to switch places with Korudo. He will face this danger in your place, while you will be transported...elsewhere in the maze. What is your choice? *What Kold hears* I will give you this chance to trade places with Kyla. She may face your dangers for you, and you will be transported to another location in the maze. Give me your answer now.

*Ichigo nods and transforms into Mech mode. He isn't much taller than Kyla is, but provides her with armor*

So that's how it was done. Nah, I'll pass on that. I'll take this danger here myself.
*Kold gathers the moisture in the nearby area to form an ice prism. he casts Light Pillar on it, which divides the light into several lasers. They move randomly, but manage to hit each shadowy arm that holds him*

Kokujo caught his returning shuriken just in time to block some of the acid with it, Fortunately whatever material his shuriken was made of managed to withstand the acid for now at least. "tch.." Kokujo said, knowing a new tactic was in order. He phased into the abundant shadows of the gloomy maze, and shortly after his voice was heard "Underworlds Wrath!". As Kokujo said this a large black spike thrust itself upwards from the shadows underneath each beetle. Hopefully their underbellys would be less armored.

*More silvery beetles close in around Kokujo* *More and more knives fly at Icis* *The walls of flame close in on Kyla in the mech* *Many shadowy arms are destroyed by Kold's attack, but more appear in their place* *Zen's voice echos suddenly so all can hear him* That is enough. *All four of them are now suddenly transported to one chamber, where Zen stands on top of a large stone archway. There seems to be a shimmering substance in the center of the archway* You passed the tests...Two of you agreed to face challanges and spare your friends, while two others made the choice to face dangers also in the hope of keeping your friends safe. I suppose I should introduce myself. I am Zen. The final child of Outh. I have one final challange for all of you. All four of you, walk through this archway together. It will test your bonds of loyalty. Should your bonds be fragile and insufficent, all four of you will be seperated for the rest of eternity, transported to dimensions, planets, perhaps even times unknown. Do not step through this gateway hastily though. Discuss this test amongst yourselves first....but do not take too long.

*Kyla grumbles* Hmmm....I don't like it. With each child of Outh, the tests have been unexpected. Victory always came by thinking completly outside of the situation....I don't trust just following along with a test set up by our enemy. I say we each aim an attack at him. When he asks for our answer, we all attack at once. The worst that could happen would be we'd end up fighting him...and I'm sure we've fought stronger opponents. What do you guys think, mew mew?
